LUVERNE has manufactured truck accessories in the United States since 1963, specialising in grille guards, running boards, side steps and mud guards for pickups, commercial vans and SUVs. Products are built primarily from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, with model-specific mounting kits that use existing frame locations for a bolt-on installation.
LUVERNE has been manufacturing automotive accessories in the United States since 1963, and six decades of continuous production have made it a nationally recognised name in the truck accessory market. Each kit includes: 2 step extrusions (available in silver or black, 69.0", 75.0", or 85.0" lengths), 4 step pads (part 552970), 4 plastic end caps (part 107956), 24 square head bolts 5/16-18 x 1" (part 106880), 24 serrated flange nuts 5/16-18 (part 102680), and 20 TEK screws #8-18 x 1/2" stainless steel (part 107958).

(4) Install end caps and tighten the nuts to 5 lb-ft. (5) Position the assembled step on the mounting brackets, align the square head screws in the bracket slots, center the step front to rear, and install serrated flange nuts on the square head screws, tightening to 19 lb-ft.
Use the Step Pad Location Guide on sheet 2 to find the correct positions for Pad A and Pad B for your specific vehicle model. The guide provides measurements in inches from a reference point. Note that the manual states these are suggestions and may be placed at the purchaser's discretion. Position the pads before drilling and attaching them to the step plates.
