Like many LUVERNE side steps and running boards, O-Mega II 6" oval side steps are made to work hard and to do it with style. They are constructed from strong, lightweight, rust-free aluminum, and to truly make them a step up from the rest, we shield them in a highly durable powder coat finish. This ensures maximum corrosion resistance and excellent protection against scuffs and scratches. The side steps are available in two powder coat finish options, including textured black and silver powder coat. O-Mega II side steps are also made to provide safe, comfortable entry and exit from your vehicle. They feature tough aluminum step pads with protruded circular treads that will never wear or crack. The step pads offer a non-skid surface, and they are finished with a textured black powder coat for lasting corrosion resistance. Also unique to our O-Mega II step pads is their customizable positioning. The pads are packaged unattached from the tubes and mount with self-tapping screws. This allows you to precisely match the layout of your vehicle to suit your preferences. You can mount them to the provided factory specifications or adjust them to a custom placement. The 6" x 2-3/4" tubes are fitted with black TPO plastic end caps, adding a modern, professional look. The end caps are also paintable to allow for even further customization. Each set of O-Mega II side steps is designed for vehicle-specific installation and fitment, using a unique set of mounting brackets. This particular set of side steps fits specific years of the Ford E150, E150 Econoline, E250, E250 Econoline and E350 Super Duty (see application info to verify fitment). NOTE: Mounting brackets are included but ship separately.
LUVERNE O-Mega II 6" oval side steps are made to work hard and to do it with style. They are constructed from strong, lightweight, rust-free aluminum and shielded in a highly durable powder coat finish of textured black or smooth silver.

LUVERNE has manufactured truck accessories in the United States since 1963, specialising in grille guards, running boards, side steps and mud guards for pickups, commercial vans and SUVs. Products are built primarily from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, with model-specific mounting kits that use existing frame locations for a bolt-on installation.
LUVERNE has been manufacturing automotive accessories in the United States since 1963, and six decades of continuous production have made it a nationally recognised name in the truck accessory market. Now a Lippert brand, it concentrates on a defined set of products rather than spreading across the whole aftermarket: front-end protection, step access and spray protection for pickup trucks, commercial vans and sport utility vehicles.
Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.
Rounding out the line, LUVERNE mud guards and mud flaps shield rocker panels, paint and following vehicles from stones and road spray, in widths matched to the tyre and fender they sit behind. Material choice runs through everything the brand does: stainless steel where appearance and corrosion resistance matter most, aluminium where weight is the priority, and mild steel with protective coating where strength and value lead. Customers include contractors, fleet operators, van upfitters and truck owners.

Yes. The O-MEGA II steps require a specific bracket package matched to your vehicle. You must follow the instructions included with your bracket package to mount the brackets to your vehicle before attaching the O-MEGA steps. The bracket package is not included with the step assembly and must be purchased separately.
The O-MEGA II includes: two extrusion assemblies (available in silver or black, in lengths 95.0", 99.0", 105.0", 111.0", or 122.0"), six step pads (part 107957), four end caps (part 107956), 28 square head screws 5/16-18 X 1" (part 106880), 28 serrated flange nuts 5/16-18 (part 102680), and 30 TEK screws #8-18 X 1/2" (part 107958). Verify all parts are present before starting installation.
The MEGA STEPS 570125 includes: one 98-inch step assembly (part 575098), mounting brackets (front, center, and rear for both right and left sides), 17 hex head cap screws 5/16-18 X 1" (part 106997), 24 square head screws 5/16-18 X 1" (part 106880), 3 hex washer head screws 5/16 X 1" (part 105537), 5 short multi-thread U-nuts 5/16-18 (part 104264), 2 long multi-thread U-nuts 5/16-18 (part 105541), 20 serrated flange nuts 5/16-18 stainless steel (part 102680), 10 serrated flange nuts 5/16-18 black plated (part 106996), 30 flat washers 5/16" (part 106998), and 10 lock washers 5/16" (part 102668).
Before starting installation, read the complete instructions and verify that all required parts listed in the Service Parts List are on hand. Also obtain and review the instructions included with your specific bracket package, as these must be followed to mount the brackets to your vehicle before attaching the O-MEGA steps.
Before starting installation, read the complete instructions and verify that all required parts listed in the Service Parts List are on hand. The MEGA STEPS are designed for 2001 and newer Ford vans. Ensure you have the correct vehicle application before proceeding.
Yes. When installing the step pads (item #2) on the O-MEGA II steps, you must drill five 1/8" holes using the step pad as a guide. The step pads are then attached with five 8-18 X 1/2" TEK screws (item #6). This drilling is required for each step pad installed.
Yes. Two drilling operations are required. First, drill Ø11/32" holes through the center of the pinch weld using the bracket holes as a guide (step 14). Second, drill Ø17/64" holes through the inside body panel using the top holes in the bracket as a guide (step 16). These holes are necessary to mount the brackets and secure the step assembly to the vehicle.
Step pad location varies by vehicle model. Use the Step Pad Location Guide on sheet 2 as a reference. Pad A and Pad B distances are measured from the front of the step. For example, Silverado/Sierra double cab uses 14-3/4" for Pad A and 46-3/4" for Pad B. However, the manual notes that these locations are suggestions only and may be placed at the purchaser's discretion. For vehicles with shorter boxes, mount the box step pad first approximately 1/2" from the end cap, then mount the middle step pad accordingly.
Install the end caps (item #3) as shown in figure 1, tightening the nuts to 5 lb ft. The end caps are plastic caps (part 107956, 2.95 X 6.70) that mount to the ends of the step assembly.
Position the O-MEGA step on the mounting brackets so that the square head screws (item #4) are located in the slots of the mounting brackets and the step is centered front to rear on the vehicle. Install 5/16" serrated flange nuts (item #5) on the square head screws and tighten to 19 lb ft.
The installation sequence is: (1) Remove tape covering mounting holes on passenger side quarter panel; (2) Install multi-thread U-nuts in the holes; (3) Install mounting brackets using hex bolts, flat washers, and lock washers, finger tighten only; (4) Install bolts through lower pinch weld, finger tighten only; (5) Tighten front brackets against vehicle surface; (6) Install five square head screws in front track of step plates; (7) Position step on brackets and install serrated flange nuts, finger tighten only; (8) Align step plate and tighten bolts to 19 foot pounds; (9) Tighten body mounting bolts to 19 foot pounds; (10) Mount front brackets on driver side; (11) Mount rear bracket to end of step plate; (12) Set other end on front brackets and clamp rear bracket; (13) Install remaining brackets and clamp to pinch weld; (14) Drill Ø11/32" holes through pinch weld; (15) Fasten brackets to pinch weld, finger tighten only; (16) Drill Ø17/64" holes through inside body panel and install washer head screws; (17) Tighten all bolts to 19 foot pounds.
The end cap nuts on the O-MEGA II steps must be tightened to 5 lb ft.
The 5/16" serrated flange nuts (item #5) on the square head screws (item #4) must be tightened to 19 lb ft.
All bolts on the MEGA STEPS model 570125 must be tightened to 19 foot pounds of torque. This applies to both the bolts from the step plate to the frame (step 8) and the body mounting bolts (step 9). Additionally, all bolts must be tightened to 19 foot pounds in the final step (step 17).
Two hole sizes are required: Ø11/32" holes drilled through the center of the pinch weld using the bracket holes as a guide (step 14), and Ø17/64" holes drilled through the inside body panel using the top holes in the bracket as a guide (step 16).
The holes through the flange of the three rear brackets should be located 51-1/2", 73-1/4", and 92-1/8" from the front. These locations should be checked against the passenger side of the vehicle.
The step pads (item #2) are attached using five 8-18 X 1/2" TEK screws (item #6) per pad. The screws are installed into 1/8" holes drilled using the step pad as a guide.
The O-MEGA II uses square head bolts (item #4) that are installed into the designated slots in the bottom of the step plates. These are then secured with 5/16" serrated flange nuts (item #5) tightened to 19 lb ft.
Five square head screws 5/16-18 X 1" (item #9) are installed in the front track of the step plates. Only four screws are used in the back channel of the MEGA STEPS, so only one screw is used in the center bracket.
The multi-thread U-nuts are installed in the rectangular and round holes in the inside quarter panel on the passenger side of the vehicle. Short U-nuts (item #11) are installed at the 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 5th holes from the front, while a long U-nut (item #12) is installed at the 2nd set of holes from the front. These U-nuts receive the hex bolts that mount the brackets.
Yes. The mounting bolts are finger-tightened in multiple stages before final tightening. Bolts into the U-nuts (step 3) and bolts through the lower pinch weld (step 4) are finger-tightened only. After alignment and positioning steps, the bolts from the step plate to the frame (step 8) and body mounting bolts (step 9) are tightened to 19 foot pounds. Finally, all bolts are tightened to 19 foot pounds in step 17.
The step plate should be aligned with the bottom of the body sheet metal. The bottom edge of the mounting bracket flanges should be even with the bottom edge of the pinch weld on the vehicle. This alignment must be checked before tightening the bolts to 19 foot pounds.
Yes. The MEGA STEPS are installed on both the passenger side and driver side. On the passenger side, all five mounting brackets are installed. On the driver side (left side), holes are only provided for the front two brackets, which are mounted the same way as the right side front brackets.
The MEGA STEPS brackets are mounted using 5/16-18 X 1" hex bolts (item #8), 5/16" flat washers (item #15), and either 5/16" lock washers (item #16) for U-nut mounting or black plated 5/16" serrated flange nuts (item #14) for pinch weld mounting. Hex washer head screws 5/16 X 1" (item #10) are used for the top holes in the rear brackets.
The O-MEGA II is a universal step that requires a vehicle-specific bracket package. You must purchase the correct bracket package for your vehicle and follow its instructions. Confirm your vehicle model and cab style before ordering.
The MEGA STEPS model 570125 is designed specifically for 2001 and newer Ford vans only. It will not fit other vehicle types.
Yes. You must drill five 1/8" holes per step pad to attach the pads to the step plates using TEK screws.
Tighten end cap nuts to 5 lb ft and square head screw nuts to 19 lb ft.
