Each tank features corrosion-resistant aluminum construction, a commercial-grade ventilation cap and an optimal fit and capacity to suit your truck and lifestyle. The heavy-duty .125" thick aluminum alloy construction provides the tank with structural strength, while keeping it lightweight and resilient to corrosion. The commercial-grade vented cap allows for proper ventilation of the liquid contents, and the tank is also equipped with commercial-grade mounting flanges for maximum strength in the truck bed. This particular transfer tank is a combination unit, meaning it has a built-in truck tool box to keep your equipment and valuables safe, well-organized and easily accessible whenever needed. The tool box is constructed from extra-thick aluminum for increased structural strength and is welded together into a single piece. The lid features a patented RigidCore foam-filled design, sandwiched between two aluminum plates. This greatly increases lid strength and helps prevent bending and warping. The kit includes one transfer tank, one key (supplied only with combo models), one filler neck and cap, and one 3/8" drain plug. Hardware such as bolts, washers, nuts and spacers is not included and must be purchased separately.

Hardware is not included with the tank. You must purchase hex bolts, flat washers, lock washers, and nuts for each mounting hole. The manual specifies one hex bolt, two flat washers, one lock washer, and one nut per hole. If any holes fall between the ribs on the truck bed floor, spacers will also be required.
Yes. Before drilling into your truck bed, check under your vehicle to ensure the drill location does not puncture, cut or obstruct any brake or fuel fluid lines, electrical wires, fuel tanks, or other components. Precaution must be taken that all fasteners near the fuel tank do not create the possibility of fuel tank puncture or other damage during a collision.
1. Push the tank up to the truck cab and center it side-to-side, ensuring it is fully supported by the truck bed floor. Use the mounting brackets as a guide to mark holes. 2. Remove the tank and drill 3/8" holes in the marked locations. 3. Place the tank back in the bed and align the drilled holes with the mounting brackets. Ensure the tank is level. 4. Secure the mounting brackets to the truck bed with one hex bolt, two flat washers, one lock washer, and one nut in each hole. Do not over tighten. 5. Attach the filler neck and cap.

The manual provides general torque guidelines. For hex bolts, use the torque specification that matches the bolt size you purchase. General guidelines are: M6/1/4" bolt = 3 ft-lbs, M8/5/16" bolt = 7 ft-lbs, M10/3/8" bolt = 16 ft-lbs, M12/7/16" bolt = 28 ft-lbs, and 1/2" bolt = 28 ft-lbs. If purchasing hardware, use the torque specifications provided with that hardware. Do not over tighten.
Make sure the transfer tank and pump are grounded to avoid static charge. Static build-up can result in explosion. The manual does not specify the grounding method or materials required; consult the manufacturer or a qualified installer for proper grounding procedures.
Never use the tank for storing or transporting flammables, explosives, hazardous materials or hazardous waste such as gasoline, solvents, gun powder, dynamite, propane tanks, acetylene tanks or cutting torches. Never pressurize the tank. Never connect it to a vehicle's fuel system or use it as an auxiliary fuel tank. Never cut, weld or drill into the tank. Never exceed the vehicle manufacturer's recommended capacity. Never modify the product. Never use it commercially.

Yes. This product can reduce the driver's ability to clearly see roadways, vehicular or pedestrian traffic and other objects through the rear and side windows of the vehicle, which may cause an accident. Extra precaution should be taken when driving a vehicle with this product.
The tank must not interfere with factory-installed safety equipment. Ensure proper positioning and installation to avoid any obstruction of safety systems.
Ensure all knobs, bolts, screws, straps and locks are firmly secured. Ensure the tank is level. Verify that the tank is securely bolted to the bed of the vehicle.
Periodically re-tighten and inspect all components for signs of wear, corrosion and fatigue. For polished, gloss and other smooth finishes, polish may be used to clear small scratches and scuffs. Mild automotive detergent may be used to clean the product. Do not use dish detergent, abrasive cleaners, abrasive pads, wire brushes or other similar products that may damage the finish.
