The heavy-duty .125" thick aluminum alloy construction provides the tank with structural strength, while keeping it lightweight and resilient to corrosion. The commercial-grade vented cap allows for proper ventilation of the liquid contents, and the tank is also equipped with commercial-grade mounting flanges for maximum strength in the truck bed. UWS transfer tanks are available in multiple sizes to accommodate any job. Precaution must be taken that all fasteners near the fuel tank do not create the possibility of fuel tank puncture or other damage during a collision.
Push the tank up to the truck cab and center it side-to-side. Make sure the tank is fully supported by the truck bed floor. Use the mounting brackets as a guide to mark the hole locations.
Drill 3/8" holes in the marked locations on the truck bed floor where the mounting brackets align.
