Warranty: Limited Lifetime Warranty (One-Year Finish, One-Year Parts)
Finish: WHITE POWDER COAT
Material: CARBON STEEL/ALUMINUM ASSEMBLY
Part Type: TRANSFER TANK
A UWS steel transfer tank is the perfect way to outfit your truck for working on the farm, the construction site or other tough jobs. It allows you to safely and effectively transport non-flammable liquids -- such as chemicals, pesticides, diesel fuel or even water -- to other vehicles and equipment. This 100-gallon steel combo transfer tank is constructed from 14-gauge steel, welded into a single piece to eliminate leaks. It features a lockable, commercial-grade, vented cap for easy filling and a drain plug for convenient emptying. It is also equipped with lifting hooks on the back for easier moving in and out of the bed of your truck, as well as welded mounting tabs for secure installation (mounting hardware not included; remove all liquid contents prior to tank relocation). This combo transfer tank comes with a built-in tool box for convenient tool storage. Unlike other steel transfer tanks, the tool box of this combo tank is made from aluminum, keeping unnecessary weight off your truck. The aluminum tool box is equipped with our patented RigidCore foam-filled lid for maximum strength, as well as stainless steel locking handles for dependable security. All UWS steel transfer tanks are built for safety, featuring internal baffles to resist sloshing and promote an even flow of liquids. They are also 100% pressure-tested for safety. This particular 100-gallon steel transfer tank combo comes with a white powder coat finish for excellent corrosion resistance. NOTE: This tank is DOT-compliant for transporting Class 3 combustible fuels only, such as diesel.

UWS designs and builds heavy-duty truck tool boxes and storage for tradespeople and truck owners. The line covers crossover and side-mount boxes, chest boxes, underbody boxes, transfer tanks and dog boxes. Every aluminum box is designed, fabricated and welded in Perry, Florida, with construction aimed at job-site abuse, road vibration and daily use.
UWS is a leading manufacturer and designer of truck tool boxes and truck accessories, and a Lippert brand. The company's focus is narrow and deliberate: storage that stands up to being opened and slammed shut dozens of times a day, loaded past what looks reasonable, and left outdoors in whatever weather the job brings. Its customers are electricians, plumbers, contractors, farmers, outdoorsmen and truck owners who treat a pickup as a working tool rather than transport.
The catalog covers the full range of bed storage. Crossover boxes sit across the bed behind the cab in single-lid, gull-wing, secure-lock and low-profile styles, so there is a fit whether the priority is capacity, rear visibility or working under a tonneau. Side-mount boxes mount along the bed rails and keep the bed floor free for cargo, while underbody boxes tuck beneath the frame rails of service bodies and flatbeds.
Beyond the bed, UWS makes portable chest boxes that move between vehicles and the shop, transfer tanks and combination tank-and-toolbox units for crews working away from fuel supply, and insulated, ventilated dog boxes for hunters and handlers.
Manufacturing sits at the centre of the brand's identity. Every UWS aluminum tool box is designed, fabricated and welded in Perry, Florida, by tradespeople with decades of experience, and the company's Rooted in Trades initiative is built around that connection to skilled manual work. Boxes use heavy-gauge aluminum, continuous welds at the seams, weather stripping to seal against rain and dust, and locking systems intended to resist tampering. The practical result is storage that keeps tools dry, organized and where they were left.

No. The tank is not compatible with diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) or other corrosive materials.
Hardware is not included with the tank. You must purchase your own hex bolts, flat washers, lock washers and nuts for each mounting hole. The manual provides torque specifications: 1/4" bolts at 3 ft-lbs., 5/16" bolts at 7 ft-lbs., 3/8" bolts at 16 ft-lbs., 7/16" bolts at 20 ft-lbs., and 1/2" bolts at 28 ft-lbs. If purchasing hardware, use the torque specifications provided with that hardware.
Required tools are: drill, 3/8" drill bit, ratchet, socket set, tape measure, and marker.
Yes. An automatic shut-off nozzle is required but not provided with the tank and must be purchased separately.
Yes. A fuel filter is required but not provided with the tank and must be purchased separately.
Before drilling into your truck bed, check under your vehicle to ensure the drill location does not puncture, cut or obstruct any brake or fuel fluid lines, electrical wires, fuel tanks, or other components. Precaution must be taken that all fasteners near the fuel tank do not create the possibility of fuel tank puncture or other damage during a collision.
Yes. Before you begin installation, read all instructions thoroughly. Proper tools will improve the quality of installation and reduce the time required.
Push the tank up to the truck cab and center it side-to-side. Make sure the tank is fully supported by the truck bed floor.

No. Do not cut, weld or drill into the tank. Doing so could result in serious injury or death.
Yes. Treat or seal all fasteners and exposed metal in any holes drilled in the vehicle to prevent corrosion.
If any holes fall between the ribs on the truck bed floor, spacers will be required between the floor and mounting bracket for proper installation.
Align the drilled holes with the mounting brackets. Ensure the tank is level before securing. Secure the mounting brackets to the truck bed with a hex bolt, two flat washers, one lock washer and one nut in each hole. Do not over tighten the hardware.
Attach the filler neck and cap after securing the mounting brackets to the truck bed.
Make sure the transfer tank and pump are grounded to avoid static charge. Static build-up can result in explosion. Refer to the manufacturer or a qualified installer for specific grounding procedures and materials.
No. Do not pressurize the tank.
Yes. Tank must be vented at all times. Remove vent cap with caution.

No. Do not interfere with factory-installed safety equipment.
Tank to be lifted only when empty.
Ensure all knobs, bolts, screws, straps and locks are firmly secured. With the transfer tank installed, periodic inspections should be performed to ensure all mounting hardware remains tight.
Mild automotive detergent may be used to clean the product. Do not use dish detergent, abrasive cleaners, abrasive pads, wire brushes or other similar products that may damage the finish.
For polished, gloss and other smooth finishes, polish may be used to clear small scratches and scuffs on the finish.
Periodically re-tighten and inspect all components for signs of wear, corrosion and fatigue. Ensure all knobs, bolts, screws, straps and locks are firmly secured before every trip.
You must purchase hex bolts, flat washers, lock washers and nuts for each mounting hole. You also need an automatic shut-off nozzle and fuel filter, which are not included.
Yes. You must drill 3/8" holes in your truck bed floor at the mounting bracket locations. Check under your vehicle first to avoid puncturing brake lines, fuel lines, electrical wires or fuel tanks.
