Draw-Tite has designed custom-fit trailer hitches since 1946 and is one of North America's most widely fitted hitch brands. Receiver hitches use solid all-welded construction and low-profile designs that follow modern vehicle contours, install with minimal bumper cutting or drilling, meet or exceed V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards, and carry a limited lifetime warranty.
Draw-Tite has been leading custom-fit trailer hitch design and engineering since its founding in 1946, and it remains one of the most widely fitted hitch brands in North America. The company's stated approach is straightforward: every hitch is tested rigorously so that it performs well beyond published industry standards, a philosophy it markets as Tested Tough. It sits within the Horizon Global towing group alongside Reese, Fulton, Bulldog, Tekonsha, Bargman and Wesbar.
Custom fit is the defining characteristic. Rather than adapting a universal design, Draw-Tite engineers a trailer hitch for a specific make, model and model year, so it bolts to existing frame locations with minimal bumper cutting or drilling. Low-profile designs follow the rear contours and aerodynamic styling of modern vehicles, which matters more than it once did now that rear fascias are shaped and sensor-equipped. Construction is solid all-welded steel for maximum strength, and every hitch meets or exceeds V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards and is backed by a nationwide limited lifetime warranty.
The range spans receiver sizes and classes to suit different loads, from 1-1/4 inch receivers for bike racks, cargo carriers and light trailers up through 2 inch receivers for heavier towing. Front mount hitches add a receiver at the front of the vehicle for winch mounts, snow plows, spare carriers and precise trailer positioning.
The Hidden Hitch series takes concealment further by mounting behind the vehicle's rear fascia, so the vehicle keeps its factory appearance until a removable receiver is fitted. Each is custom designed per make and model for a no-drill installation that does not compromise ground clearance, rated for up to 3,500 pounds gross trailer weight and 350 pounds tongue weight. Matching plug-and-play wiring completes the towing system.

Hitch 24967 includes fastener kit 24967F, which contains 2 cable ties for securing the rear fascia tabs to the bottom of the hitch bracket. The installation reuses 4 factory M12 bolts from the vehicle frame and 2 bolts from the tie-down bracket. The exhaust hanger bracket bolts are also reused.
Yes. The installation reuses 4 factory M12-1.25 bolts from the vehicle frame, 2 bolts from the tie-down bracket on the driver's side, and 2 bolts from the exhaust hanger bracket on the passenger's side. These bolts are saved during removal and reinstalled during hitch installation.
The average installation time for professional installers is 40 minutes. If you do not feel comfortable performing this installation on your own or need assistance, contact a professional installer.
The manual does not specify whether the battery must be disconnected. Consult the vehicle manufacturer's instructions or a professional installer for guidance on battery disconnection.
The first step is to lower the muffler using an exhaust hanger removal tool. Remove the rearmost rubber hanger and the forward rubber hanger. Spraying lubricant or soapy water on the rubber hangers makes them slide off the metal pins more easily. Be sure the exhaust is supported before removing the rubber hangers.
Using a 19 mm socket, remove 2 bolts from the exhaust hanger bracket on the passenger's side. Save the exhaust bracket and bolts to be reused for hitch installation.
Using a flat-head screwdriver and a 10 mm socket, remove 6 plastic push-pin rivets, 1 hex nut, and unscrew 4 threaded panel fasteners from the bottom of the panel.
Using a 19 mm socket, remove 2 bolts from the tie-down bracket on the driver's side. These bolts will be used for hitch installation. Return the tie-down bracket to the vehicle owner.
Using a tape measure, marker, and utility knife, measure and trim the underbody panel as follows: 2-1/2 inches, 4 inches, 5-1/2 inches, and 1-3/4 inches, as shown in Figures 2 and 3 of the installation manual. These dimensions define the area to be trimmed from the rear of the vehicle.
Raise the hitch into position by first raising the driver's side of the hitch into position, then position the bracket above the carbon canister hoses, and finally raise the passenger's side into position. See Figure 1 of the installation manual.
Loosely reinstall the 4 factory M12 bolts and the exhaust hanger bracket on the passenger's side into the existing weldnuts in the frame. The hitch is sandwiched between the exhaust hanger bracket and the frame. Do not fully tighten at this stage.
The hitch uses 4 factory M12-1.25 bolts. These bolts are installed into existing weldnuts in the frame and must be tightened to 76 Lb.-Ft. (103 N·M) using a torque wrench.
Raise the muffler back into position and reattach all rubber hangers that were removed in step 1. Ensure the muffler is properly supported and the hangers are fully seated on the metal pins.
Reinstall the underbody panel using 4 of the original 6 push-pin rivets, 4 threaded fasteners, and 1 hex nut. Note that only 4 of the 6 original push-pin rivets are used.
Using the 2 cable ties provided in fastener kit 24967F, secure the 2 rear fascia tabs to the bottom of the hitch bracket. Trim the excess ends of the cable ties. See Figure 4 of the installation manual.
Always wear safety glasses when installing the hitch. Observe safety precautions when working beneath the vehicle and wear eye protection. Do not use a torch to cut access or attachment holes. Be sure the exhaust is supported before removing rubber hangers. Do not cut, weld, or modify the receiver.
Load the trailer heavier in front. Do not exceed the lower of your towing vehicle manufacturer's rating or 2000 lb. GVWR / 200 lb. tongue weight. Always wear your seatbelt. Slow down when towing and never exceed posted speed limits. If excess sway occurs, take your foot off the gas pedal and hold the steering wheel steady. Do not apply brakes and do not speed up.
Check the hitch frequently, making sure all fasteners and the ball are properly tightened. The manual does not specify an exact interval, but recommends periodic checks to ensure the hitch remains securely mounted to the vehicle.
If the hitch is removed, plug all holes in the trunk pan or other body panels to prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes.
Check all fasteners and the ball periodically to ensure they are properly tightened and the hitch is securely mounted to the vehicle. If the hitch or ball becomes damaged, it must be removed and replaced. The manual does not specify a retorque interval or other maintenance schedule.
