These durable custom hitches are manufactured for 2015-2023 Ford Edge, 2016-2018 Lincoln MKX, 2019-2023 Lincoln Nautilus and attach to your vehicle?s frame or bumper for a sleek, clean appearance. Each hitch also has a 2 inch square receiver tube opening ? the most common and versatile on the market - allowing you to attach accessories like a bike rack or cargo carrier, or hook up your pop-up, boat trailer, or utility trailer. The options are endless! DRAW-TITE Class 3 Custom Trailer Hitches come complete with all the mounting hardware needed for installation and are backed by a nationwide lifetime limited warranty. So, whether you are headed out to the campground, the lake, or the bike trails, or you are tackling a project at home and need to haul the materials home, choose DRAW-TITE and travel with confidence knowing your setup is connected with the security only DRAW-TITE can provide. DRAW-TITE: North America?s Favorite Hitch

Draw-Tite has designed custom-fit trailer hitches since 1946 and is one of North America's most widely fitted hitch brands. Receiver hitches use solid all-welded construction and low-profile designs that follow modern vehicle contours, install with minimal bumper cutting or drilling, meet or exceed V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards, and carry a limited lifetime warranty.
Draw-Tite has been leading custom-fit trailer hitch design and engineering since its founding in 1946, and it remains one of the most widely fitted hitch brands in North America. The company's stated approach is straightforward: every hitch is tested rigorously so that it performs well beyond published industry standards, a philosophy it markets as Tested Tough. It sits within the Horizon Global towing group alongside Reese, Fulton, Bulldog, Tekonsha, Bargman and Wesbar.
Custom fit is the defining characteristic. Rather than adapting a universal design, Draw-Tite engineers a trailer hitch for a specific make, model and model year, so it bolts to existing frame locations with minimal bumper cutting or drilling. Low-profile designs follow the rear contours and aerodynamic styling of modern vehicles, which matters more than it once did now that rear fascias are shaped and sensor-equipped. Construction is solid all-welded steel for maximum strength, and every hitch meets or exceeds V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards and is backed by a nationwide limited lifetime warranty.
The range spans receiver sizes and classes to suit different loads, from 1-1/4 inch receivers for bike racks, cargo carriers and light trailers up through 2 inch receivers for heavier towing. Front mount hitches add a receiver at the front of the vehicle for winch mounts, snow plows, spare carriers and precise trailer positioning.
The Hidden Hitch series takes concealment further by mounting behind the vehicle's rear fascia, so the vehicle keeps its factory appearance until a removable receiver is fitted. Each is custom designed per make and model for a no-drill installation that does not compromise ground clearance, rated for up to 3,500 pounds gross trailer weight and 350 pounds tongue weight. Matching plug-and-play wiring completes the towing system.

The maximum gross trailer weight is 4500 lb (2043 kg) and the maximum tongue weight is 675 lb (306 kg) for both weight carrying and weight distributing configurations. Do not exceed the lower of your towing vehicle manufacturer's rating or these limits.
Required tools are: ratchet, torque wrench, safety glasses, 5.5 mm socket, 10 mm socket, flat head screwdriver, CR-VT 20 screwdriver, 6 inch socket extension, and die grinder. The manual recommends professional installation if you are not comfortable performing the work yourself.
Bumper fascia removal is recommended for easier installation on MKX models only. For Edge and Nautilus models, it is not required. If you choose to remove the MKX fascia, use a flat head and CR-VT 20 screwdriver to remove 3 rivets and 1 bolt on each side, open the trunk, gently pull the fascia away, and disconnect the electrical connector on the driver side.
Remove the bottom side plastic panels using 5.5 mm and 10 mm sockets to remove 2 bolts and 2 flange nuts on each side. Keep the panels for reinstallation. For Edge Sport and MKX AWD models, also remove 6 bolts and 1 flange nut from the center plastic panel with heat shields and return it to the owner.
Yes, you must remove the exhaust hanger rod from the rubber isolator on both sides and use a stand to support the muffler to prevent damage. However, if you have already removed the bumper fascia on an MKX model, you can skip this step.
Yes, you must use a die grinder to cut off the stud that is above the center of the muffler. This is a required modification. Do not use a torch to cut access or attachment holes.
1. Remove bottom side plastic panels (and center panel for Edge Sport/MKX AWD). 2. Lower the muffler (skip if fascia already removed on MKX). 3. Feed carriage bolts and spacers into the frame using pull wires, cut the stud above the muffler center with a die grinder, raise the hitch into position, slide it over the passenger side exhaust first, feed pull wires through bracket holes, remove pull wires, and loosely install washers and hex nuts. 4. Tighten all 7/16 inch fasteners to 50 Lb.-Ft. (68 N·M). 5. Reinstall all removed components.
Pull wires are used to feed the carriage bolts and spacers into the frame before raising the hitch into position. The pull wires keep the spacer independent of the bolt (kink the pull wire to maintain this separation). After the hitch is positioned and the pull wires are fed through the bracket holes, the pull wires are removed and replaced with washers and hex nuts.
Slide the hitch over the passenger side exhaust first, then feed the pull wires through the bracket holes.
All 7/16 inch fasteners must be tightened to 50 Lb.-Ft. (68 N·M) using a torque wrench. Proper torque is needed to keep the hitch secure to the vehicle when towing.
The 75234F fastener kit includes: 8 carriage bolts (7/16 inch x 14 x 1.75, GR5), 8 spacers (0.188 x 1 x 2, part 3837), 6 conical washers (7/16 inch, part 01292007), 8 hex nuts (7/16 inch, GR2), 8 pull wires (7/16 inch – 13, part 5481), and 2 lock washers (7/16 inch).
The conical washer teeth side must be oriented against the hitch.
Always wear safety glasses when installing the hitch. Observe safety precautions when working beneath a vehicle. Use a stand to support the muffler to prevent damage. Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch. If the hitch is removed, plug all holes in the trunk pan or other body panels to prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes.
Check the hitch frequently to ensure all fasteners and the ball are properly tightened. Verify that the hitch is securely mounted to the vehicle. If the hitch is damaged, it must be removed and replaced.
Always wear your seatbelt. Load the trailer heavier in front. Do not exceed the lower of your towing vehicle manufacturer's rating or 4500 lb GVWR / 675 lb tongue weight. Slow down when towing and never exceed posted speed limits. If excess sway occurs, take your foot off the gas pedal and hold the steering wheel as steady as possible; do not apply brakes or speed up.
No. Do not cut, weld, or modify this receiver. The only cutting required is using a die grinder to remove the stud above the center of the muffler, which is part of the standard installation procedure.
Check the hitch frequently to ensure all fasteners and the ball are properly tightened. The manual emphasizes periodic verification that the hitch is securely mounted to the vehicle.
Yes. The 75234 fits 2015-current Ford Edge, 2015-2018 Lincoln MKX, and 2019-current Lincoln Nautilus. Check the manufacturer's website for the most current trim level information.
