The first step is to remove the front bottom appearance panel. Use a 10mm socket to remove 7 screws from the front end and 2 screws from the intersection line between front and rear panels. Use a flat head screwdriver to remove 4 push rivets from the bottom panel and 8 from the wheel well (4 per side). Use a T25 Torx bit socket to remove 2 screws from the rear bottom panel. Pull the rear panel downward and loosen it from studs.
Locate the plastic trim piece inside the wheel well trim. Use a panel removal tool to remove 2 clips from the bottom and 4 clips from the side of the plastic trim piece on each side.
