ARIES nerf bars are all made vehicle-specific for a custom, no-drill fit, and they are available in multiple finish options. This set of nerf bars is constructed from 304 stainless steel with a polished finish. Our 304 stainless steel is a true stainless with high nickel content, offering better corrosion resistance and a long-lasting finish. The polish is a triple application, resulting in a mirror-like shine to complement your vehicle. ARIES 3" round side bars also come with high-strength steel brackets and non-skid step pads. The mounting brackets -- as well as the side bars and step pads -- are custom-designed for specific makes and models to allow the nerf bars to contour to the lines of your vehicle. This ensures easy, no-drill installation and the strength necessary to provide solid footing. This particular set of custom nerf bars fits specific years of the Ford Bronco (see application info to verify fitment). ARIES 3" round side bars also come with non-skid step pads made of polypropylene. These wide, custom-positioned step pads feature a textured pattern and cover a wide portion of the tubes to be more comfortable and high-traction, even in wet conditions.

Yes. The factory rear nut must be removed from the front of the leaf spring bolt before the sidebar can be attached. The sidebar is then secured to the leaf spring bolt using a 5/8" nut and 16mm lock washer.
Yes. Three 10mm holes must be drilled per side into the front body mount. The holes are marked in place after the sidebar is leveled and positioned against the front body mount, then drilled with a 10mm drill bit.
1. Attach the front mounting bracket to the sidebar using 4 × 10mm hex bolts, 8 × 10mm flat washers, 4 × 10mm lock washers, and 4 × 10mm nuts (snug, do not tighten). 2. Remove the factory rear nut from the leaf spring bolt and secure the sidebar with a 5/8" nut and 16mm lock washer (snug, leave loose enough to pivot). 3. Raise the sidebar with help or a jack stand and level it with the bottom of the cab, maintaining equal distance front and rear. 4. Mark the 3 holes on the front body mount, lower the sidebar, and drill 10mm holes. 5. Raise the sidebar and secure with 3 × 10mm bolts, 6 × 10mm flat washers, 3 × 10mm lock washers, and 3 × 10mm nuts (snug, do not tighten). 6. Level and align the sidebar, then tighten all hardware. Repeat for the driver side.
Yes. The instructions specify that help or a jack stand is required to raise the front of the sidebar during installation to level it with the bottom of the cab.
No. The instructions specify to snug but not tighten hardware at multiple stages: after attaching the front mounting bracket (Step 2), after securing the sidebar to the leaf spring bolt (Step 3), and after drilling and installing the front body mount bolts (Step 5). All hardware is tightened only in the final step after the sidebar is leveled and aligned.
The sidebar should be leveled with the bottom of the cab and positioned at an equal distance from the cab in both the front and rear. This is done after raising the sidebar with help or a jack stand.

For gloss black finishes, use only mild soap for cleaning.
