Yes, drilling is required. You must use a 1-1/4" hole saw to cut holes into the center of the lower support on both sides of the vehicle and to drill access holes on the side of the bumper frame. You must also use a 3/8" drill bit to bore out existing holes on the frame and to drill additional holes indicated during baseplate installation. A reciprocating saw is also required to trim plastic shielding and fascia components.
You must trim: marked areas from the plastic shielding above the bumper horn using a reciprocating saw; plastic hang downs in front of the shutters; and a marked area on the lower support (trimming only to the weld running along the horn on both sides). After reattaching the fascia, you must cut marked areas on the fascia cover around the convenience links and attachment tabs.

Blue Ox offers a three-year limited warranty from the date of delivery to the original retail purchaser. The warranty covers defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service. Warranty is valid only if the customer warranty card is returned within 30 days of purchase and a copy of the original invoice accompanies any claim.
