All 1/2" fasteners (carriage bolts and flange nuts) must be torqued to 110 lb-ft. This is done in Step 19 after lifting the base plate to ensure it is as high as possible and level. Carefully slide the tow bar base plate onto the frame and rotate it into position evenly, lining up the square mounting holes with the factory tow hook holes (Step 17). The base plate will be snug.
