The removal sequence is: (1) Remove (4) T15 screws from bottom center fascia; (2) Remove (2) T20 screws from top fascia near trunk weatherstrip; (3) Remove (3) T15 screws from rear side of wheel well trim on driver side, then repeat on passenger side; (4) Disconnect wheel well trim light on both sides; (5) Partially remove fascia by gently pulling rearward while releasing wheel well trim clips; (6) Remove (1) 7mm screw from both sides while pulling back wheel well trim; (7) Disconnect all wiring harnesses from fascia and set aside.
Open the tailgate. Using a flathead screwdriver, remove (1) push rivet from the trim piece near the driver-side taillight. Using plastic trim tools, gently pull the trim piece off and set aside for later reuse. Repeat the same steps on the passenger side.
The (4) existing M10 bolts and (4) existing M10 flange nuts that were removed from the bumper beam are reinstalled into the end panel to secure the hitch. All fasteners removed from the taillight covers, fascia, and wheel well trim in steps 1 and 2 are also reused when reinstalling those components.

T15 star drivers are needed to remove (4) screws from the bottom center fascia and (3) screws from the rear side of the wheel well trim on each side. A T20 star driver is needed to remove (2) screws from the top fascia area near the trunk weatherstrip.
A 7mm socket is used to remove (1) screw from both sides of the wheel well trim while pulling back the trim.
Yes. Before fully removing the bumper beam, gently lower the exhaust hanger bracket. When installing the hitch, raise the exhaust hanger bracket back into position before reinstalling the M10 bolts and flange nuts.
