Draw-Tite has designed custom-fit trailer hitches since 1946 and is one of North America's most widely fitted hitch brands. Receiver hitches use solid all-welded construction and low-profile designs that follow modern vehicle contours, install with minimal bumper cutting or drilling, meet or exceed V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards, and carry a limited lifetime warranty.
Draw-Tite has been leading custom-fit trailer hitch design and engineering since its founding in 1946, and it remains one of the most widely fitted hitch brands in North America. The company's stated approach is straightforward: every hitch is tested rigorously so that it performs well beyond published industry standards, a philosophy it markets as Tested Tough. It sits within the Horizon Global towing group alongside Reese, Fulton, Bulldog, Tekonsha, Bargman and Wesbar.
Custom fit is the defining characteristic. Rather than adapting a universal design, Draw-Tite engineers a trailer hitch for a specific make, model and model year, so it bolts to existing frame locations with minimal bumper cutting or drilling. Low-profile designs follow the rear contours and aerodynamic styling of modern vehicles, which matters more than it once did now that rear fascias are shaped and sensor-equipped. Construction is solid all-welded steel for maximum strength, and every hitch meets or exceeds V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards and is backed by a nationwide limited lifetime warranty.
The range spans receiver sizes and classes to suit different loads, from 1-1/4 inch receivers for bike racks, cargo carriers and light trailers up through 2 inch receivers for heavier towing. Front mount hitches add a receiver at the front of the vehicle for winch mounts, snow plows, spare carriers and precise trailer positioning.
The Hidden Hitch series takes concealment further by mounting behind the vehicle's rear fascia, so the vehicle keeps its factory appearance until a removable receiver is fitted. Each is custom designed per make and model for a no-drill installation that does not compromise ground clearance, rated for up to 3,500 pounds gross trailer weight and 350 pounds tongue weight. Matching plug-and-play wiring completes the towing system.

Equip your vehicle for towing and hitch-mounted accessories with a dependable CURT 2" trailer hitch. Designed for a vehicle-specific fit, CURT receiver hitches provide a strong and secure connection point for towing trailers, carrying bikes, transporting cargo and using other compatible 2-inch hitch accessories.
Our selection of CURT 2-inch receiver hitches includes options for trucks, SUVs, crossovers, vans and passenger vehicles. Each hitch is engineered to match specific vehicle mounting points, helping provide a clean installation and dependable performance. Depending on the vehicle application, available options may include Class 3, Class 4 and heavy-duty receiver hitches with different gross trailer weight and tongue weight capacities.
A 2" x 2" receiver opening is one of the most common hitch sizes and works with a wide range of towing accessories, including ball mounts, bike racks, cargo carriers, hitch steps and tow hooks. When towing a trailer, you may also need a properly rated trailer ball, hitch pin, wiring harness, brake controller or weight distribution system.
CURT trailer hitches feature a durable black finish designed to help protect against rust, scratches and exposure to road conditions. Many models install using existing holes in the vehicle frame, although drilling, trimming or temporary removal of vehicle components may be required for certain applications.
Use our vehicle fitment tools to find the correct CURT 2" trailer hitch for your year, make and model. Always compare the hitch rating with your vehicle’s towing capacity and the ratings of every component in your towing setup. The maximum towing capacity is determined by the lowest-rated component.
Shop CURT 2-inch trailer hitches at TowUniverse for vehicle-specific fitment, trusted towing performance and access to the accessories needed to complete your towing setup.

Yes, if applicable to your vehicle. Using an M7 socket and screwdriver, remove the screws and plastic push rivets holding the underbody panel in place. Remove the panel between the mufflers. The panel can be returned to the vehicle owner or trimmed to fit and reinstalled. Note: extensive trimming may be required.
Yes. If a kick sensor is present, you must use a 1/4-inch drill bit to remove the center four rivets holding the kick sensor in place. The sensor is then moved aside during fascia trimming. Additionally, a 1.5-inch hole must be cut forward of the forward attachment point in the heat shield to clear the middle fastener for the hitch.
Yes, if applicable. Find the center of the fascia and trim the vehicle fascia per Figure 3 in the installation instructions. Dimensions are approximate. If a kick sensor is present, move it aside to avoid cutting it during trimming. The fascia fasteners are removed before trimming and reinstalled afterward.
Yes. Using a 10mm socket, remove the nuts holding the heat shield, and using a 7mm socket, remove the screw holding it to the wheel well liner. Remove the heat shield and cut a 1.5-inch hole forward of the forward attachment point to clear the middle fastener for the hitch. The modified heat shield is then reinstalled using the original fasteners.
All M16 fasteners must be tightened to 146 Ft-Lb (198 N·M) using a torque wrench. Proper torque is essential to keep the hitch secure to the vehicle when towing.
All 1/2-inch fasteners must be tightened to 75 Ft-Lb (102 N·M) using a torque wrench. Proper torque is essential to keep the hitch secure to the vehicle when towing.

Tighten all fasteners to the specified torque values: M16 fasteners to 146 Ft-Lb (198 N·M) and 1/2-inch fasteners to 75 Ft-Lb (102 N·M). Check the hitch frequently to ensure all fasteners remain tight. Loose fasteners can result in an insecure hitch and unsafe towing conditions.
Ensure that the carriage bolts and spacers are properly inserted into the vehicle frame through the forward attachment using the pullwires. Raise the hitch into position and carefully align the holes in the hitch bracket to the frame rail weldnuts. Guide the pullwire ends through the holes in the hitch bracket. If alignment is still difficult, verify that the weldnuts are free from rust and debris, as contamination can prevent proper bolt engagement.
Yes, a compatible bike rack, cargo carrier or other accessory with a 2" x 2" shank can generally be used. Make sure the accessory does not exceed the hitch’s tongue weight rating, the vehicle’s limits or the accessory manufacturer’s capacity.
