Whether you're on the job or off-roading through the wilderness, it doesn't take long for rocks and other debris to wreak havoc on the body of your truck. LUVERNE Textured Rubber Mud Guards are the perfect solution for maintaining that pristine, professional look. For the front or rear of the truck, these custom mud flaps add style and body protection. They are constructed from heavy-duty black rubber that stands up to road debris and sheds water with ease. They feature 18-gauge stainless steel plates to help protect the bottom edge and extend the life of the mud flaps. With their 3/8" thick, recycled rubber construction, Textured Rubber Mud Guards easily deflect everything from mud to gravel, protecting the body of your truck from scratches, chips and scuffs. They are also made to add a stylish accent to your truck, featuring stainless steel plates along the bottom edge of each flap. The plates are made from 18-gauge stainless steel to provide a heavy-duty, rust-resistant shield, and they feature a bright, high-polish finish for a long-lasting shine. The textured finish of the rubber mud flaps is also designed to easily hide minor scuffs and scratches and maintain a clean appearance. For an easy installation and a custom fit, these truck mud flaps are made vehicle-specific. This particular set fits specific years of the Ford F150 and Lincoln Mark LT (see application info to verify fitment). They install with corrosion-resistant fasteners and high-strength steel mounting brackets with a galvanized finish for long-lasting durability. Universal mud flaps are also available.

LUVERNE has manufactured truck accessories in the United States since 1963, specialising in grille guards, running boards, side steps and mud guards for pickups, commercial vans and SUVs. Products are built primarily from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, with model-specific mounting kits that use existing frame locations for a bolt-on installation.
LUVERNE has been manufacturing automotive accessories in the United States since 1963, and six decades of continuous production have made it a nationally recognised name in the truck accessory market. Now a Lippert brand, it concentrates on a defined set of products rather than spreading across the whole aftermarket: front-end protection, step access and spray protection for pickup trucks, commercial vans and sport utility vehicles.
Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.
Rounding out the line, LUVERNE mud guards and mud flaps shield rocker panels, paint and following vehicles from stones and road spray, in widths matched to the tyre and fender they sit behind. Material choice runs through everything the brand does: stainless steel where appearance and corrosion resistance matter most, aluminium where weight is the priority, and mild steel with protective coating where strength and value lead. Customers include contractors, fleet operators, van upfitters and truck owners.

The LUVERNE Front or Rear 12" x 23" Rubber Mud Guards, Select F-150, Mark LT (2 Flaps) 250423 (Part #FTNF250423) Refer to the included instructions for installation details. Basic hand tools are typically all you need.
Model 250420 measures 12" × 20". Model 250423 measures 12" × 23". Both are available in left-hand (LH) and right-hand (RH) configurations for Ford F-150 trucks.
These mudguards fit 2004 and newer Ford F-150 Series Trucks. The manual does not specify compatibility limits by generation, cab style, bed length, or drivetrain, so contact the manufacturer or a fitment database to confirm your specific truck configuration.
Yes. Both models 250420 and 250423 are designed for front or rear installation on 2004 and newer Ford F-150 Series Trucks. The installation procedure and fasteners differ between front and rear applications.
Each kit includes one mudguard (left or right), mounting brackets (for rear applications), hex head SEM screws, fender washers, button head socket screws, nylock nuts, ratchet fasteners, and thread-forming screws. See the Parts List on page 2 for complete item numbers and quantities. Verify all parts are present before starting installation.
Yes. Paper drilling templates are included for front and rear installations when factory moldings are present. The front template is used in section 4.2, and the rear template is used in section 6.3. Position the template to match the outboard, bottom, and inboard edges of the molding before drilling.
Yes. The factory stone guard fasteners must be removed before mudguard installation. On front applications without moldings (section 3.1), remove two factory screws. On front with moldings (section 4.3), remove the factory screws after pulling the molding outward. On rear without moldings (section 5.1), remove two factory plastic ratchet fasteners. On rear with moldings (section 6.1–6.2), remove the top and lower plastic ratchet fasteners. These factory fasteners are not reused.
For front installations with factory moldings, yes. Section 4.1 requires rotating the front wheels for access to the tire side of the wheel well molding. For other applications, wheel removal is not mentioned in the manual.
Drilling is required only if your F-150 has factory moldings on the wheel well. Front installations with moldings require drilling two 5/16" clearance holes and one 1/16" pilot hole through the plastic molding (section 4.2). Rear installations with moldings require drilling one 5/16" clearance hole and one 1/16" pilot hole (section 6.3). All rear installations (with or without moldings) require drilling a 3/16" hole through the wheel well pinch weld flange (section 5.3 or 6.5). Front installations without moldings require no drilling.
When installing front mudguards with factory moldings, drill one 1/16" diameter pilot hole using the lower inboard centerline mark on the template to locate the stone guard fastener center. Then drill two 5/16" diameter clearance holes through the plastic molding. Do not drill into the stone guard or sheet metal flange.
Drill a 3/16" diameter hole through the wheel well pinch weld flange using the hole in the mounting bracket as a pilot. This hole is used to fasten the top of the mounting bracket with a 1/4" × 3/4" hex head thread-forming screw (Item 11).
When installing rear mudguards with factory moldings, drill one 1/16" diameter pilot hole using the lower inboard centerline mark on the template to match the hole in the metallic wheel well flange. Then drill one 5/16" diameter clearance hole. The top drilling hole must line up with the existing hole in the molding. Do not drill into the stone guard or sheet metal flange.
No cutting or trimming of the molding is required. However, on rear installations with moldings, you must remove two plastic ratchet fasteners: snip the top fastener with a side cutter (section 6.1) and remove the lower fastener (section 6.2). After drilling, new ratchet fasteners (Item 5) are installed back into the holes.
On the front without moldings, use two hex head SEM screws (Item 3, M4.2-1.41 × 30 mm) and 1/4" fender washers (Item 4). Position the mudguard against the wheel well flange, install the fasteners, move the mudguard in or out as desired, level it, and tighten the fasteners.
On the front with moldings, use the same fasteners as the front without moldings: two hex head SEM screws (Item 3, M4.2-1.41 × 30 mm) and 1/4" fender washers (Item 4). After drilling the clearance holes through the molding and repositioning it, install the mudguard against the wheel well molding, move it in or out as desired, level it, and tighten the fasteners.
On the rear without moldings, use 1/4" × 1.25" button head socket screws (Item 9), 1/4" fender washers (Item 4), and 1/4"-20 nylock nuts (Item 10). Position the mudguard against the wheel well flange, install the fasteners, move the mudguard in or out as desired, level it, and tighten the fasteners. Also clamp the top of the mounting bracket to the inner wheel well pinch weld and drill a 3/16" hole for the thread-forming screw (Item 11).
On the rear with moldings, use the same fasteners as the rear without moldings: 1/4" × 1.25" button head socket screws (Item 9), 1/4" fender washers (Item 4), and 1/4"-20 nylock nuts (Item 10). After drilling the clearance holes through the molding, position the mudguard against the wheel well flange, install the fasteners, move the mudguard in or out as desired, level it, and tighten the fasteners. Also clamp the top of the mounting bracket to the inner wheel well pinch weld and drill a 3/16" hole for the thread-forming screw (Item 11).
Yes, but only for rear applications. For rear installations, attach the mounting brackets (Items 12 and 13) to the mudguards before installation using 10-24 × 1.0" truss head screws (Item 6), 1/4" fender washers (Item 4), #10 flat washers (Item 7), and 10-24 nylock nuts (Item 8). Use the bottom hole in the bracket. Front installations do not use mounting brackets.
Tape the paper drilling template against the tire side of the molding so that it matches the outboard, bottom, and inboard edges. For rear installations with moldings, ensure the top drilling hole lines up with the existing hole in the molding. Use the lower inboard centerline mark on the template to locate the pilot hole position.
After drilling the clearance holes and removing the factory stone guard fasteners, push the molding back into position and install new ratchet fasteners (Item 5) back into the holes on the bottom side and face of the molding. This applies to front installations with moldings (section 4.4). For rear installations with moldings, the ratchet fasteners are removed but the manual does not explicitly state they are reinstalled.
Yes. The manual instructs to move the mudguard in or out as desired before tightening the fasteners. This applies to all installation configurations (front and rear, with and without moldings). Level the mudguards and then tighten all fasteners.
The manual does not provide torque specifications for any fasteners. Contact Curt Manufacturing or consult a professional installer for the correct torque values for the hex head SEM screws, button head socket screws, and thread-forming screws.
Yes. When drilling through factory moldings on the front or rear, do not drill into the stone guard or sheet metal flange. Ensure the pilot hole matches the center of the stone guard fastener (front) or the hole in the metallic wheel well flange (rear) before drilling the larger clearance holes. Relocate the template and redrill if necessary.
Ensure all fasteners are tightened. The manual states "TIGHTEN ALL FASTENERS" at the end of the installation instructions. Verify the mudguards are level and positioned as desired. Check that the mounting brackets (on rear installations) are clamped securely to the inner wheel well pinch weld.
These mudguards fit 2004 and newer Ford F-150 Series Trucks in front or rear. Confirm your specific truck generation, cab style, and bed length with the manufacturer or a fitment database.
The manual does not list required tools. You will need a drill with bits (1/16", 5/16", and 3/16" sizes), a side cutter (for rear molding fasteners), and a tape measure. Consult the manufacturer for a complete tool list.
Drilling is required only if your F-150 has factory moldings. Front with moldings: drill two 5/16" and one 1/16" hole through the molding. Rear (all): drill one 3/16" hole through the wheel well pinch weld. Front without moldings: no drilling.
Yes. Remove the factory stone guard fasteners before installation. On front: remove two screws. On rear: remove two plastic ratchet fasteners. These fasteners are not reused.
Yes, for rear installations only. Attach brackets (Items 12 and 13) to the mudguard using truss head screws, fender washers, flat washers, and nylock nuts before installation. Front installations do not use brackets.
Tighten all fasteners. Verify the mudguards are level and positioned as desired. On rear installations, ensure the mounting brackets are clamped securely to the inner wheel well pinch weld.
