They feature high-traction rubber treads, a sleek finish and a non-corrosive build -- all to give you dependable footing whether you're headed for work or play. MegaStep wheel-to-wheel running boards are uniquely designed with extra length on the rear of the boards, reaching all the way to the back wheels. This provides a convenient and secure step for reaching into the truck bed and accessing the crossover truck tool box, headache rack or 5th wheel hitch. The entire length of the running boards is covered with a non-skid rubber tread for enhanced safety, even in wet, rainy conditions. Unlike plastic treads, rubber offers better grip for your boots or shoes. The base of MegaStep wheel-to-wheel running boards is an extruded aluminum alloy, providing excellent strength, while remaining lightweight and completely rust-free. To give these truck side steps a touch of style, they are fitted with a polished stainless steel trim that contours around the boards and gives them a look similar to popular nerf bars. The trim piece is polished to a mirror-like shine and easily withstands rain, snow, dirt and more. To make installation fast, easy and secure, LUVERNE MegaStep wheel-to-wheel steps are made vehicle-specific. Each set has a specific board length and vehicle-specific brackets, providing a custom fit for each unique truck. The brackets install using pre-existing mounting points to eliminate difficult modifications, and the running boards can be positioned inward, outward, forward or backward to suit personal preferences. This particular set of MegaStep wheel-to-wheel running boards is designed for specific years of the Ford F250 Super Duty and F350 Super Duty (see application information to verify fitment; brackets included but shipped separately).

Read the complete installation instructions and verify that all required parts listed in the Service Parts List are on hand before beginning. Check that your vehicle is a 2017 or newer Ford Super Duty pickup and confirm your cab style (crew cab, super cab, or regular cab). Ensure the factory-provided studs on the inside of the rocker panel are accessible and in good condition.
On the left side of the vehicle, install two 1.5" isolator washers (part 108442), the step mounting bracket (part 552643), and two M8-1.25 flange nuts (part 105859) on the factory-provided studs on the inside of the rocker panel. Repeat this process for the remaining brackets on the left side, then repeat the entire process for the right side. Check that all brackets are level before tightening all flange nuts.
Loosen the nut and bolt on the spring shackle just enough to slip the rear inboard bracket (part 553104 for left side, part 553105 for right side) behind the nut. On the passenger side, the nut must be loosened and the bolt slid outward to install the bracket. Do not remove the bolt completely as this could result in injury. Adjust the bracket so it is vertical and tighten to 80 lb-ft.
Using two 5/16-18 x 1" bolts (part 106997), two 5/16" flat washers (part 106998), and two 5/16-18 flange nuts (part 106996), install the outboard bracket (part 551721) as shown in Figure 2. Leave this bracket loose at this time. After attaching the step board to the mounting brackets, adjust the rear outboard bracket for your step assembly and tighten the bolts securing the outboard bracket to the inboard bracket.
The rear inboard bracket must be tightened to 80 lb-ft.
1. Install rocker panel mounting brackets on the left side using isolator washers, mounting brackets, and flange nuts on factory studs. 2. Repeat for remaining left-side brackets. 3. Check all brackets are level and tighten flange nuts. 4. Install rear inboard bracket on spring shackle and tighten to 80 lb-ft. 5. Install rear outboard bracket but leave loose. 6. Attach step board per step board instructions. 7. Adjust and tighten rear outboard bracket. 8. Repeat steps 1-7 for the right side.
Removing the spring shackle bolt completely could result in injury. The bolt should only be loosened enough to slip the rear inboard bracket behind the nut and allow the bolt to be slid outward on the passenger side.
No. After installing the rear outboard bracket with bolts, washers, and flange nuts, leave it loose. Tighten it only after you have attached the step board to the mounting brackets and adjusted the rear outboard bracket for your specific step assembly.
Yes. After installing the brackets, you must attach the step board to the mounting brackets following the instruction sheet included with your step board assembly. The bracket installation is only the first part of the complete installation.
