Like many LUVERNE side steps and running boards, O-Mega II 6" oval side steps are made to work hard and to do it with style. They are constructed from strong, lightweight, rust-free aluminum, and to truly make them a step up from the rest, we shield them in a highly durable powder coat finish. This ensures maximum corrosion resistance and excellent protection against scuffs and scratches. The side steps are available in two powder coat finish options, including textured black and silver powder coat. O-Mega II side steps are also made to provide safe, comfortable entry and exit from your vehicle. They feature tough aluminum step pads with protruded circular treads that will never wear or crack. This package includes the side steps only and requires mounting brackets for a complete installation (sold separately).

LUVERNE has manufactured truck accessories in the United States since 1963, specialising in grille guards, running boards, side steps and mud guards for pickups, commercial vans and SUVs. Products are built primarily from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, with model-specific mounting kits that use existing frame locations for a bolt-on installation.
LUVERNE has been manufacturing automotive accessories in the United States since 1963, and six decades of continuous production have made it a nationally recognised name in the truck accessory market. Now a Lippert brand, it concentrates on a defined set of products rather than spreading across the whole aftermarket: front-end protection, step access and spray protection for pickup trucks, commercial vans and sport utility vehicles.
Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.
Rounding out the line, LUVERNE mud guards and mud flaps shield rocker panels, paint and following vehicles from stones and road spray, in widths matched to the tyre and fender they sit behind. The O-MEGA II package includes two extrusion assemblies (available in silver or black aluminum in various lengths), step pads, end caps, square head bolts, serrated flange nuts, and TEK screws. The exact extrusion length depends on your model number. All fasteners and hardware needed for installation are provided.

The manual provides specific pad location guidance for Chevrolet Silverado/Sierra (Double, Extended, and Crew Cab), GMC Sierra, Chevrolet Express Van, GMC Savana Van, RAM Quad/Crew/Mega Cab, Ford F150 (Super Cab and Super Crew Cab), and Ford Super Duty (Super Cab and Crew Cab). For fitment confirmation on your specific vehicle, consult the bracket package instructions or contact the manufacturer.
Yes. Step 2 of the installation instructions states: "Follow the instructions included with the specific bracket package that you are using, to mount the brackets to your vehicle." The bracket package instructions are separate from this manual and must be followed before attaching the O-MEGA steps.
1. Mount brackets to vehicle using the separate bracket package instructions. 2. Position step pads on step plates using the vehicle-specific location guide on Sheet 2. 3. Drill five 1/8" holes using the step pad as a guide and attach pads with 8-18×1/2" TEK screws. 4. Install square head bolts into the designated slots in the bottom of the step plates. 5. Install end caps and tighten nuts to 5 lb ft. 6. Position the O-MEGA step on the mounting brackets, center it front to rear, install serrated flange nuts on the square head screws, and tighten to 19 lb ft.
Use the Step Pad Location Guide on Sheet 2 to position the pads for your specific vehicle model. The guide provides measurements for Pad A and Pad B locations. Note: Due to the shortness of some boxes, mount the box step pad first, approximately ½" from the end cap, then mount the middle step pad accordingly. Pad locations are suggestions and may be placed at the purchaser's discretion.
Yes. When installing the step pads on the steps, you must drill five 1/8" holes using the step pad as a guide. The step pad is used as a template for hole placement. Attach the pads with the provided 8-18×1/2" TEK screws after drilling.
Tighten the end cap nuts to 5 lb ft.
Install 5/16" serrated flange nuts on the square head screws and tighten to 19 lb ft. These fasteners secure the O-MEGA step to the mounting brackets.
The step pads are attached with 8-18×1/2" TEK screws (stainless steel, bright zinc plated). Five screws are used per pad. The holes are drilled to 1/8" diameter using the step pad as a guide.

The O-MEGA II steps are available in silver or black aluminum. The extrusion color is determined by your model number: models 583098, 583102, 583108, 583114, and 583125 are silver; models 584098, 584102, 584114, and 584125 are black.
The O-MEGA II extrusions are available in five lengths: 95.0", 99.0", 105.0", 111.0", and 122.0". Your model number determines which length you receive. Each package includes two extrusions (one for each side of the vehicle).
