LUVERNE O-Mega II 6" oval wheel-to-wheel steps are the perfect side steps for offroad trucks and work trucks alike. They feature an aggressive look, highly functional step pads, a non-corrosive construction and a vehicle-specific fit. O-Mega II wheel-to-wheel steps are truly modern side steps for modern trucks. With their oval-shaped board profile, rounded end caps and angular step pads, they provide an aggressive look. The step pads also feature a unique cutout pattern and raised circular treads for an unmistakable accent. O-Mega II side steps are not only built for style, but they offer superior safety every time you climb into the cab. The step pads are made from aluminum to outlast the harsh elements and ensure maximum traction and wear resistance for the raised treads. These wheel-to-wheel steps are extra-long and are equipped with additional step pads toward the rear, giving you a solid and convenient step for reach into the truck bed. They?re perfect for accessing a truck tool box, headache rack, 5th wheel hitch or cargo in the truck bed. To ensure that LUVERNE O-Mega II oval wheel-to-wheel side steps are able to withstand anything the road or trail throws your way, they are constructed from aluminum alloy. Aluminum supplies dependable strength and rigidity, while maintaining unparalleled corrosion resistance and a lightweight design. These side steps and the step pads are also protected in a durable powder coat finish. The boards are available in your choice of carbide black or chrome powder coat. O-Mega II wheel-to-wheel steps are engineered for a fast, easy, secure installation, featuring vehicle-specific brackets for a custom fit. This particular set is designed to fit specific years of the Chevy Silverado 2500 HD or 3500 HD and GMC Sierra 2500 HD or 3500 HD (see application information to verify fitment; brackets included but shipped separately).
LUVERNE O-Mega II 6" oval wheel-to-wheel side steps are made to work hard and to do it with style. They are constructed from strong, lightweight, rust-free aluminum and shielded in a highly durable powder coat finish of textured black or smooth silver.

LUVERNE has manufactured truck accessories in the United States since 1963, specialising in grille guards, running boards, side steps and mud guards for pickups, commercial vans and SUVs. Products are built primarily from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, with model-specific mounting kits that use existing frame locations for a bolt-on installation.
LUVERNE has been manufacturing automotive accessories in the United States since 1963, and six decades of continuous production have made it a nationally recognised name in the truck accessory market. Now a Lippert brand, it concentrates on a defined set of products rather than spreading across the whole aftermarket: front-end protection, step access and spray protection for pickup trucks, commercial vans and sport utility vehicles.
Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.
Rounding out the line, LUVERNE mud guards and mud flaps shield rocker panels, paint and following vehicles from stones and road spray, in widths matched to the tyre and fender they sit behind. Material choice runs through everything the brand does: stainless steel where appearance and corrosion resistance matter most, aluminium where weight is the priority, and mild steel with protective coating where strength and value lead. Customers include contractors, fleet operators, van upfitters and truck owners.

No. Model 571447 is a no-drill application. The brackets mount to existing holes on the rocker panel pinch weld and vertical wall. However, you must remove plastic body plugs from the vertical wall of the rocker panel on the left side and insert U-nuts, or use threaded inserts if present in the upper location.
Yes. You must drill 5 holes of 1/8" diameter through the step plate using the step pad as a guide. The step pad is then attached with 5 tek screws (#8-18 x 1/2"). This must be done before attaching the step to the brackets. Note: on shorter boxes, mount the box step pad first, approximately 1/2" from the end cap, then mount the middle step pad accordingly.
1. Attach step pads to step plates using 1/8" drilled holes and tek screws. 2. Install square head bolts into the designated slots in the bottom of the step plates. 3. Install end caps and tighten nuts to 5 lb-ft. 4. Position the step on the mounting brackets so square head screws are in the bracket slots and the step is centered front to rear. 5. Install serrated flange nuts on the square head screws and tighten to 19 lb-ft.
1. Remove plastic body plugs from the rocker panel vertical wall and insert U-nuts (or use existing threaded inserts). 2. Position mounting brackets and install 5/16"-18 x 1.0" hex bolts and flat washers finger tight. 3. Install M8-1.25 x 30 mm bolts, flat washers, and pinch weld support brackets, and install M8-1.25 nuts finger tight. 4. Repeat for all brackets. 5.
