Like many LUVERNE side steps and running boards, O-Mega II 6" oval side steps are made to work hard and to do it with style. They are constructed from strong, lightweight, rust-free aluminum, and to truly make them a step up from the rest, we shield them in a highly durable powder coat finish. This ensures maximum corrosion resistance and excellent protection against scuffs and scratches. The side steps are available in two powder coat finish options, including textured black and silver powder coat. O-Mega II side steps are also made to provide safe, comfortable entry and exit from your vehicle. They feature tough aluminum step pads with protruded circular treads that will never wear or crack. The step pads offer a non-skid surface, and they are finished with a textured black powder coat for lasting corrosion resistance. Also unique to our O-Mega II step pads is their customizable positioning. The pads are packaged unattached from the tubes and mount with self-tapping screws. This allows you to precisely match the layout of your vehicle to suit your preferences. You can mount them to the provided factory specifications or adjust them to a custom placement. The 6" x 2-3/4" tubes are fitted with black TPO plastic end caps, adding a modern, professional look. The end caps are also paintable to allow for even further customization. Each set of O-Mega II side steps is designed for vehicle-specific installation and fitment, using a unique set of mounting brackets. This particular set of side steps fits specific years of the Ford E150, E150 Econoline, E250, E250 Econoline and E350 Super Duty (see application info to verify fitment). NOTE: Mounting brackets are included but ship separately.
LUVERNE O-Mega II 6" oval side steps are made to work hard and to do it with style. They are constructed from strong, lightweight, rust-free aluminum and shielded in a highly durable powder coat finish of textured black or smooth silver.

LUVERNE has manufactured truck accessories in the United States since 1963, specialising in grille guards, running boards, side steps and mud guards for pickups, commercial vans and SUVs. Products are built primarily from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, with model-specific mounting kits that use existing frame locations for a bolt-on installation.
LUVERNE has been manufacturing automotive accessories in the United States since 1963, and six decades of continuous production have made it a nationally recognised name in the truck accessory market. Now a Lippert brand, it concentrates on a defined set of products rather than spreading across the whole aftermarket: front-end protection, step access and spray protection for pickup trucks, commercial vans and sport utility vehicles.
Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.
Rounding out the line, LUVERNE mud guards and mud flaps shield rocker panels, paint and following vehicles from stones and road spray, in widths matched to the tyre and fender they sit behind. Material choice runs through everything the brand does: stainless steel where appearance and corrosion resistance matter most, aluminium where weight is the priority, and mild steel with protective coating where strength and value lead. Customers include contractors, fleet operators, van upfitters and truck owners.

The 570124 bracket package is designed for 2001 and newer Ford vans only. If you have a different vehicle type or older Ford van, you will need a different bracket package. Consult the bracket package instructions for your specific vehicle to confirm fitment.
The O-MEGA II 6" oval steps are available in two color options: silver (part numbers 553068 for 33" and 553074 for 95") and black (part numbers 553056 for 33" and 553062 for 95"). The steps are supplied as extrusions and come with all necessary hardware for installation.
Each O-MEGA II step kit includes: 4 aluminum step pads (part 552970), 4 plastic end caps (part 107956), 18 square head screws 5/16-18 X 1" (part 106880), 18 serrated flange nuts 5/16-18 (part 102680), and 24 TEK screws #8-18 X 1/2" stainless steel (part 107958). The specific bracket package provides additional mounting hardware.
Yes. Before attaching the O-MEGA II steps to the mounting brackets, you must install the step pads (item 3) on top of the step plates. Using the holes in the step pad as a guide, drill five 1/8" pilot holes and attach each pad with five 8-18 X 1/2" TEK screws (item 7). Repeat this for all step pads.
Tighten the nuts on the end caps (item 4) to 5 lb ft.
Tighten the 5/16" serrated flange nuts (item 6) on the square head screws (item 5) to 19 lb ft. Position the O-MEGA step on the mounting brackets so the square head screws are located in the slots of the mounting brackets and the step is centered front to rear on the vehicle before tightening.
On the passenger side of the vehicle, remove the tape that is covering the mounting holes in the inside quarter panel at five locations. This exposes the holes where the U-nuts will be installed.
Install short 5/16-18" multi-thread U-nuts (item 14) in the rectangular and round holes at the 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 5th holes from the front. Install the long 5/16-18" multi-thread U-nut (item 15) in the rectangular and round hole at the 2nd set of holes from the front. These U-nuts receive the mounting bracket bolts.
Install the mounting brackets (items 5, 7, 9, and 10) using 5/16-18 X 1" hex bolts (item 11), 5/16" flat washers (item 18), and 5/16" lock washers (item 19) into the multi-thread U-nuts, and install bolts through the lower pinch weld using 5/16" serrated flange nuts (item 17). Finger tighten only at this time. Do not fully tighten until after alignment.
Position the front step pad at about 7-1/2" from the front. When installing the pads, drill and install the two center screws first. If installing at around 70°F, make sure the screws in the end slotted holes are in the middle of the slot. After snugging the screws, back them off 1/4 turn to allow for plastic expansion and contraction without rising between the screws. Rear pads are optional.
For the right side step plate: install five square head screws 5/16-18 X 1" (item 12) in the front track and five in the rear track. For the left side step plate: install two square head screws 5/16-18 X 1" (item 12) in the front track and two in the rear track.
Tighten the bolts from the step plate to the frame to 19 foot pounds of torque. Align the step plate with the bottom of the body sheet metal so the bottom edge of the mounting bracket flanges is even with the bottom edge of the pinch weld on the vehicle.
Tighten the bracket to body mounting bolts to 19 foot pounds of torque.
Before attaching Grip Steps to the brackets, slide the appropriate number of support braces (item 22) into the channel of the steps. Slide the end caps (item 21) over the front and rear of each step and screw them to the steps using #8 X 1/2" self-drilling TEK screws (item 13). Set the steps on the mounting brackets and slide each support brace over the top of each mounting bracket. Attach the flat spacer plate (item 23) to the bottom of the step between the support brace and the top of the mounting bracket using 5/16"-18 X 1" carriage bolts (item 24), 5/16" flat washers (item 25), and 5/16"-18 serrated flange nuts (item 16). Slide the step plates to the correct position and tighten the flange nuts to 19 foot pounds of torque.
Yes. After installing the front brackets on the passenger (right) side, install the front two brackets on the left side (driver's side) the same way. The bracket package includes brackets for both the right and left sides of the vehicle.
Position the O-MEGA step on the mounting brackets so that the square head screws are located in the slots of the mounting brackets and the step is centered front to rear on the vehicle. Align the step plate with the bottom of the body sheet metal so the bottom edge of the mounting bracket flanges is even with the bottom edge of the pinch weld on the vehicle.
The 570124 is designed for 2001 and newer Ford vans only. Check your vehicle year and type against the manual's vehicle application section.
The O-MEGA II kit includes step pads, end caps, square head screws, serrated flange nuts, and TEK screws. The 570124 bracket package adds mounting brackets, hex bolts, washers, lock washers, U-nuts, and carriage bolts. Verify all parts are present before starting installation.
Yes. Install step pads on the step plates by drilling five 1/8" pilot holes using the pad holes as a guide, then attach with five 8-18 X 1/2" TEK screws. Do this before mounting the steps to the brackets.
End caps: 5 lb ft. Square head screws on step plates: 19 lb ft. Step plate to frame bolts: 19 lb ft. Bracket to body mounting bolts: 19 lb ft. Grip Step flange nuts: 19 lb ft.
On the passenger side, remove the tape covering the mounting holes in the inside quarter panel at five locations. This exposes the holes for U-nut installation.
Position the front step pad 7-1/2" from the front. Install the two center screws first. If installing at 70°F, keep end slot screws in the middle of the slot and back off 1/4 turn after snugging to allow for thermal expansion. Rear pads are optional.
Yes. Finger tighten all mounting bracket bolts initially, then tighten the pinch weld bolt, then fully tighten all bolts to 19 lb ft after alignment is complete.
