Like many LUVERNE side steps and running boards, O-Mega II 6" oval side steps are made to work hard and to do it with style. They are constructed from strong, lightweight, rust-free aluminum, and to truly make them a step up from the rest, we shield them in a highly durable powder coat finish. This ensures maximum corrosion resistance and excellent protection against scuffs and scratches. The side steps are available in two powder coat finish options, including textured black and silver powder coat. O-Mega II side steps are also made to provide safe, comfortable entry and exit from your vehicle. They feature tough aluminum step pads with protruded circular treads that will never wear or crack. The step pads offer a non-skid surface, and they are finished with a textured black powder coat for lasting corrosion resistance. Also unique to our O-Mega II step pads is their customizable positioning. The pads are packaged unattached from the tubes and mount with self-tapping screws. This allows you to precisely match the layout of your vehicle to suit your preferences. You can mount them to the provided factory specifications or adjust them to a custom placement. The 6" x 2-3/4" tubes are fitted with black TPO plastic end caps, adding a modern, professional look. The end caps are also paintable to allow for even further customization. Each set of O-Mega II side steps is designed for vehicle-specific installation and fitment, using a unique set of mounting brackets. This particular set of side steps fits specific years of the Ford E150, E150 Econoline, E250, E250 Econoline, E350 Super Duty, E450 Econoline Super Duty and E450 Super Duty (see application info to verify fitment). NOTE: Mounting brackets are included but ship separately.
LUVERNE O-Mega II 6" oval side steps are made to work hard and to do it with style. They are constructed from strong, lightweight, rust-free aluminum and shielded in a highly durable powder coat finish of textured black or smooth silver.

LUVERNE has manufactured truck accessories in the United States since 1963, specialising in grille guards, running boards, side steps and mud guards for pickups, commercial vans and SUVs. Products are built primarily from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, with model-specific mounting kits that use existing frame locations for a bolt-on installation.
LUVERNE has been manufacturing automotive accessories in the United States since 1963, and six decades of continuous production have made it a nationally recognised name in the truck accessory market. Now a Lippert brand, it concentrates on a defined set of products rather than spreading across the whole aftermarket: front-end protection, step access and spray protection for pickup trucks, commercial vans and sport utility vehicles.
Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.
Rounding out the line, LUVERNE mud guards and mud flaps shield rocker panels, paint and following vehicles from stones and road spray, in widths matched to the tyre and fender they sit behind. Material choice runs through everything the brand does: stainless steel where appearance and corrosion resistance matter most, aluminium where weight is the priority, and mild steel with protective coating where strength and value lead. Customers include contractors, fleet operators, van upfitters and truck owners.

The Model 570121 O-MEGA Step is designed for 2001 and newer Ford Cut-A-Way Vans. Installation is performed on the passenger and driver sides of the vehicle.
The kit includes: one 54-inch O-MEGA step assembly (part 585054), four mounting brackets (front and center, right and left), four plastic end caps, two step pads, eight hex head cap screws, sixteen square head screws, twelve Phillips head TEK screws, two short and two long multi-thread U-nuts, sixteen serrated flange nuts (stainless steel), four serrated flange nuts (black plated), twelve flat washers, and four lock washers.
Yes. On the passenger side of the vehicle, remove the tape covering the mounting holes in the inside quarter panel at the two front locations before beginning installation.
Only if your vehicle does not have pre-drilled holes in the pinch weld. If holes are not present, you must drill an Ø11/32" hole through the pinch weld at each bracket location. Use the hole in the bracket as a guide. Make sure the brackets are tight against the body panels before drilling.
Yes. The O-MEGA step plates (Model 585054) must be cut down to approximately 36-1/2" length for this application. Remove the end cap from the unbolted end, then use a hacksaw or band saw to cut the step plates to length. Reinstall the end cap after cutting.
You will need a hacksaw or band saw to cut the step plates to length, a drill with an Ø11/32" bit (if pinch weld holes are not pre-drilled), a torque wrench, and standard wrenches or sockets to tighten fasteners. A socket set for 5/16" fasteners is recommended.
All mounting bolts for the Model 570121 O-MEGA Steps must be tightened to 19 foot pounds of torque. This applies to both the bolts going through the pinch weld and the bolts going into the U-nuts, as well as the step plate mounting bolts.
1. Remove tape covering mounting holes on the passenger side quarter panel. 2. Install short U-nuts (part 104264) at the first hole from the front, and long U-nuts (part 105541) at the second set of holes. 3. Install mounting brackets using hex bolts, flat washers, and lock washers; finger tighten only. 4. Install hex bolts through the pinch weld holes and bracket using flat washers and serrated flange nuts; finger tighten only. 5. Tighten the pinch weld bolt first, then the U-nut bolts, to 19 foot pounds. 6. Repeat steps 1–5 on the driver side.
After cutting the step plates to approximately 36-1/2" length and reinstalling the end cap, install three square head screws (part 106880, 5/16-18 X 1") in the front and rear track of the step plates. Position the O-MEGA step on the mounting brackets so the square head screws are located in the slots of the mounting brackets and the step is centered front to rear on the vehicle. Install 5/16" serrated flange nuts (part 102680) on the square head screws and tighten the step plate mounting bolts to 19 foot pounds of torque.
The kit includes: two 33-inch aluminum extrusions (available in silver part 553068 or black part 553056), two aluminum step pads (part 552970), four plastic end caps (part 107956), sixteen square head screws (part 106880), sixteen serrated flange nuts (part 102680), and ten Phillips head TEK screws (part 107958). A specific bracket package is required but instructions for it are provided separately.
Place the step pads (part 552970) on top of the step plates. Using the holes in the step pad as a guide, drill five 1/8" pilot holes. Attach the step pads using five 8-18 X 1/2" TEK screws (part 107958) provided. Repeat this process for all step pads.
Install the end caps (part 107956) as shown in Figure 1, tightening the serrated nuts (part 102680) to 5 foot pounds of torque.
1. Follow the instructions included with your specific bracket package to mount the brackets to your vehicle. 2. Place step pads on the step plates and drill five 1/8" pilot holes using the step pad holes as a guide. 3. Attach step pads with five 8-18 X 1/2" TEK screws. 4. Install the required number of square head screws (part 106880) into the designated slots in the bottom of the step plates. 5. Install end caps, tightening serrated nuts to 5 foot pounds. 6. Position the O-MEGA step on the mounting brackets with square head screws in the bracket slots, centered front to rear. 7. Install 5/16" serrated flange nuts on the square head screws and tighten to 19 foot pounds.
The serrated nuts (part 102680) securing the end caps (part 107956) must be tightened to 5 foot pounds of torque.
The 5/16" serrated flange nuts (part 102680) securing the square head screws (part 106880) to the mounting brackets must be tightened to 19 foot pounds of torque.
Yes. Using the holes in the step pad as a guide, you must drill five 1/8" pilot holes before attaching the step pads with TEK screws.
You will need a drill with a 1/8" bit for pilot holes, a torque wrench, and standard wrenches or sockets for 5/16" fasteners. The specific tools required for bracket installation depend on your bracket package instructions.
The Model 570121 is designed for 2001 and newer Ford Cut-A-Way Vans only. Consult your vehicle documentation or the Curt website to confirm fitment for your specific model year and van type.
Drilling is required only if your vehicle does not have pre-drilled holes in the pinch weld. If holes are missing, drill an Ø11/32" hole at each bracket location using the bracket as a guide.
Yes. The step plates must be cut to approximately 36-1/2" length using a hacksaw or band saw. Remove the end cap before cutting and reinstall it afterward.
All mounting bolts must be tightened to 19 foot pounds of torque, including bolts through the pinch weld, bolts into U-nuts, and step plate mounting bolts.
End cap nuts: 5 foot pounds. Square head screw nuts: 19 foot pounds.
Yes. Drill five 1/8" pilot holes using the step pad holes as a guide before attaching the pads with TEK screws.
Eight 5/16-18 X 1" hex bolts, sixteen square head screws, twelve Phillips head TEK screws, four U-nuts (two short, two long), sixteen serrated flange nuts, twelve flat washers, and four lock washers. All are included in the kit.
