Like many LUVERNE side steps and running boards, O-Mega II 6" oval side steps are made to work hard and to do it with style. They are constructed from strong, lightweight, rust-free aluminum, and to truly make them a step up from the rest, we shield them in a highly durable powder coat finish. This ensures maximum corrosion resistance and excellent protection against scuffs and scratches. The side steps are available in two powder coat finish options, including textured black and silver powder coat. O-Mega II side steps are also made to provide safe, comfortable entry and exit from your vehicle. They feature tough aluminum step pads with protruded circular treads that will never wear or crack. The step pads offer a non-skid surface, and they are finished with a textured black powder coat for lasting corrosion resistance. Also unique to our O-Mega II step pads is their customizable positioning. The pads are packaged unattached from the tubes and mount with self-tapping screws. This allows you to precisely match the layout of your vehicle to suit your preferences. You can mount them to the provided factory specifications or adjust them to a custom placement. The 6" x 2-3/4" tubes are fitted with black TPO plastic end caps, adding a modern, professional look. The end caps are also paintable to allow for even further customization. Each set of O-Mega II side steps is designed for vehicle-specific installation and fitment, using a unique set of mounting brackets. This particular set of side steps fits specific years of the Ford F150, F250 Super Duty, F350 Super Duty, F450 Super Duty and F550 Super Duty (see application info to verify fitment). NOTE: Mounting brackets are included but ship separately.
LUVERNE O-Mega II 6" oval side steps are made to work hard and to do it with style. They are constructed from strong, lightweight, rust-free aluminum and shielded in a highly durable powder coat finish of textured black or smooth silver.

LUVERNE has manufactured truck accessories in the United States since 1963, specialising in grille guards, running boards, side steps and mud guards for pickups, commercial vans and SUVs. Products are built primarily from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, with model-specific mounting kits that use existing frame locations for a bolt-on installation.
LUVERNE has been manufacturing automotive accessories in the United States since 1963, and six decades of continuous production have made it a nationally recognised name in the truck accessory market. Now a Lippert brand, it concentrates on a defined set of products rather than spreading across the whole aftermarket: front-end protection, step access and spray protection for pickup trucks, commercial vans and sport utility vehicles.
Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.
Rounding out the line, LUVERNE mud guards and mud flaps shield rocker panels, paint and following vehicles from stones and road spray, in widths matched to the tyre and fender they sit behind. Material choice runs through everything the brand does: stainless steel where appearance and corrosion resistance matter most, aluminium where weight is the priority, and mild steel with protective coating where strength and value lead. Customers include contractors, fleet operators, van upfitters and truck owners.

The O-MEGA II steps are described as a universal application. However, step pad positioning varies significantly by vehicle model and cab style. The manual provides a step pad location guide for Silverado, Sierra, Colorado, Canyon, Avalanche, Suburban, Yukon, Tahoe, Ram, Dodge Dakota, Dodge Durango, Ford F150, Ford Super Duty, Toyota Tundra, and Toyota Tacoma. If your vehicle is listed in the pad location guide on sheet 2 of the O-MEGA II instructions, the steps are designed for your vehicle. If your vehicle is not listed, contact the manufacturer or your installer to confirm fitment.
Model 571523 brackets are designed specifically for 2015 and newer Ford F150 SuperCrew Pickups. They mount to the rocker panel using factory-provided studs and require no drilling. If you have a different F150 body style (such as Regular Cab or SuperCab) or an older model year, these brackets are not compatible. Confirm your truck is a 2015+ SuperCrew before purchasing.
The O-MEGA II step assembly includes: 2 aluminium extrusions (available in silver or black, in three lengths: 69.0", 75.0", or 85.0"), 4 step pads (part 552970), 4 end caps (part 107956), 24 square head screws 5/16-18 x 1" (part 106880), 24 serrated flange nuts 5/16-18 (part 102680), and 20 tek screws #8-18 x 1/2" stainless steel (part 107958). The specific extrusion length depends on your model number (583072, 583078, 583088, 584072, 584078, or 584088). Mounting brackets are sold separately and include their own instruction sheet.
The 571523 bracket kit includes 6 mounting brackets (part 552643), 12 nylon isolator washers 0.36" x 1.5" x 0.032" (part 108442), and 12 M8-1.25 flange nuts zinc-plated (part 105859). The step board assembly is sold separately and includes its own instruction sheet. No additional fasteners or tools are required beyond what is listed.
No. The 571523 bracket kit is a no-drill application. The brackets mount directly to factory-provided studs on the inside of the rocker panel of 2015+ Ford F150 SuperCrew Pickups using the included isolator washers and flange nuts. No drilling, cutting, or vehicle modification is required.
Before attaching the step pads to the step plates, use the Step Pad Location Guide on sheet 2 of the manual to find your vehicle model and cab style. The guide provides two measurements (Pad A and Pad B) that indicate where each pad should be positioned along the length of the step. These are suggestions and may be adjusted at your discretion. Once positioned, drill 5 holes using the step pad as a guide, then attach the pad with 5 tek screws (part 107958, #8-18 x 1/2" stainless steel). Repeat for all step pads.
Yes, drilling is required for the O-MEGA II steps. You must drill 5 holes (1/8" diameter) through each step pad using the pad as a guide. These holes are used to attach the step pads to the step plates with tek screws. The number of holes drilled depends on the number of step pads you install. No other drilling of the vehicle is required; mounting bracket installation instructions are provided separately.
The end cap nuts (part 107956) should be tightened to 5 lb-ft. This is the only torque specification provided in the O-MEGA II manual.
The 5/16" serrated flange nuts (part 102680) that secure the square head screws (part 106880) to the mounting brackets should be tightened to 19 lb-ft. This ensures the step is securely fastened to the brackets.
Position the O-MEGA step on the mounting brackets so that the square head screws (part 106880) are located in the slots of the mounting brackets. Center the step front to rear on the vehicle. Install 5/16" serrated flange nuts (part 102680) onto the square head screws and tighten to 19 lb-ft. Before this step, you must have already installed the step pads and end caps as described in the manual.
On the left side of the vehicle, install two 1.5" isolator washers (part 108442), the step mounting bracket (part 552643), and two M8-1.25 flange nuts (part 105859) onto the factory-provided studs on the inside of the rocker panel. If installing stainless steel side entry steps, leave the flange nuts finger tight only to assist alignment. Repeat for the remaining brackets. Check that all brackets are level, then tighten all flange nuts. Repeat the entire process for the right side of the vehicle. Refer to the instruction sheet included with your step board assembly for attaching the step to the brackets.
If you are installing stainless steel side entry steps with the 571523 brackets, you should initially tighten the M8-1.25 flange nuts (part 105859) by hand only (finger tight) rather than using a wrench. This allows you to adjust the bracket position to ensure the step plate aligns correctly. Once all brackets are level and properly aligned, you then fully tighten all flange nuts with a wrench.
Yes. End caps (part 107956) must be installed on the O-MEGA II steps. The manual shows end cap installation in figure 1 and specifies that the nuts should be tightened to 5 lb-ft. End caps are included in the service parts list (4 per step assembly).
Follow this sequence: (1) Install step pads on the step plates by drilling 5 holes per pad and attaching with tek screws. (2) Install end caps and tighten nuts to 5 lb-ft. (3) Install the required number of square head bolts into the designated slots in the bottom of the step plates. (4) Position the assembled step on the mounting brackets, ensuring the square head screws are in the bracket slots and the step is centered front to rear. (5) Install and tighten the 5/16" serrated flange nuts to 19 lb-ft. Do not attach the step to the brackets until the pads and end caps are installed.
Yes. The O-MEGA II extrusions are available in silver or black. The service parts list shows three lengths in each colour: 69.0" (part 553071 silver, 553059 black), 75.0" (part 553072 silver, 553060 black), and 85.0" (part 553073 silver, 553061 black). Your model number (583072, 583078, 583088, 584072, 584078, or 584088) determines which length and colour you have.
The O-MEGA II manual covers six model numbers: 583072, 583078, 583088, 584072, 584078, and 584088. Based on the service parts list, these appear to correspond to different extrusion lengths and colours (silver or black in 69.0", 75.0", or 85.0" lengths), but the manual does not explicitly state which model number corresponds to which length or colour. Refer to your product documentation or contact the manufacturer to confirm your specific model's specifications.
The O-MEGA II is a universal application. Check the Step Pad Location Guide in the manual for your specific vehicle model and cab style. If listed, the steps are designed for your truck.
Model 571523 brackets fit 2015+ Ford F150 SuperCrew Pickups only. Confirm your truck is a SuperCrew and 2015 or newer before purchasing.
Yes. You must drill 5 holes (1/8" diameter) through each step pad to attach it to the step plate with tek screws. No vehicle drilling is required.
No. The 571523 bracket kit is a no-drill application. Brackets mount directly to factory-provided studs on the rocker panel.
Tighten end cap nuts to 5 lb-ft and the 5/16" serrated flange nuts on the mounting brackets to 19 lb-ft. These are the only torque specifications provided.
The manual does not specify required tools. You will need a drill with a 1/8" bit for the step pad holes, a wrench for the fasteners, and a torque wrench for the specified torque values (5 lb-ft and 19 lb-ft). Refer to your mounting bracket instructions for additional tool requirements.
Install step pads first (drill and attach with tek screws), then end caps (tighten to 5 lb-ft), then square head bolts in the step plate slots, then position on brackets and tighten flange nuts to 19 lb-ft.
