Like many LUVERNE side steps and running boards, O-Mega II 6" oval side steps are made to work hard and to do it with style. They are constructed from strong, lightweight, rust-free aluminum, and to truly make them a step up from the rest, we shield them in a highly durable powder coat finish. This ensures maximum corrosion resistance and excellent protection against scuffs and scratches. The side steps are available in two powder coat finish options, including textured black and silver powder coat. O-Mega II side steps are also made to provide safe, comfortable entry and exit from your vehicle. They feature tough aluminum step pads with protruded circular treads that will never wear or crack. The step pads offer a non-skid surface, and they are finished with a textured black powder coat for lasting corrosion resistance. Also unique to our O-Mega II step pads is their customizable positioning. The pads are packaged unattached from the tubes and mount with self-tapping screws. This allows you to precisely match the layout of your vehicle to suit your preferences. You can mount them to the provided factory specifications or adjust them to a custom placement. The 6" x 2-3/4" tubes are fitted with black TPO plastic end caps, adding a modern, professional look. The end caps are also paintable to allow for even further customization. Each set of O-Mega II side steps is designed for vehicle-specific installation and fitment, using a unique set of mounting brackets. This particular set of side steps fits specific years of the Ford F150, F250 Super Duty, F350 Super Duty, F450 Super Duty and F550 Super Duty (see application info to verify fitment). NOTE: Mounting brackets are included but ship separately.

Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.

The O-MEGA II steps include: 24 square head bolts (5/16-18 x 1", part 106880), 24 serrated flange nuts (5/16-18, part 102680), 20 pan head TEK screws (#8-18 x 1/2", part 107958), 4 end caps (part 107956), and 4 aluminum step pads (part 552970).
The 571523 bracket package includes 6 mounting brackets (part 552643), 12 nylon isolator washers 0.36" x 1.5" x 0.032" (part 108442), and 12 M8-1.25 flange nuts (part 105859). The brackets mount using factory-provided studs on the rocker panel.

Yes. You must drill five 1/8" holes through the step plate using the step pad as a guide. The step pads are then attached with five #8-18 x 1/2" TEK screws (part 107958).
Before attaching the step pads to the step plates, use the Step Pad Location Guide table on sheet 2 to determine the correct position for your specific vehicle model. The table provides measurements for pad A and pad B locations. Note that these are suggestions and may be placed at the purchaser's discretion.
1. Verify all required parts are on hand. 2. Follow the instructions included with your specific bracket package to mount brackets to the vehicle. 3. Position and attach step pads to the step plates using the location guide table, drilling five 1/8" holes and securing with five TEK screws per pad. 4. Install square head bolts into the designated slots in the bottom of the step plates. 5. Install end caps and tighten nuts to 5 lb-ft. 6. Position the step on the mounting brackets with square head screws in the bracket slots, centered front to rear, and tighten serrated flange nuts to 19 lb-ft.
1. Verify all required parts are on hand. 2. On the left side, install two 1.5" isolator washers, the mounting bracket, and two M8-1.25 flange nuts on the factory studs inside the rocker panel. If installing stainless steel side entry steps, leave flange nuts finger tight only for alignment. 3. Repeat for remaining brackets. 4. Check that all brackets are level and tighten all flange nuts. 5. Repeat steps 2-4 for the right side. 6. Refer to the step board assembly instructions to attach the step to the brackets.
The nuts on the end caps (part 107956) must be tightened to 5 lb-ft.
The 5/16-18 serrated flange nuts (part 102680) that secure the square head screws to the mounting brackets must be tightened to 19 lb-ft.
Five 1/8" holes are drilled through the step plate using the step pad as a guide. These holes are used to attach the step pad with five #8-18 x 1/2" TEK screws.
The O-MEGA II steps require a separate bracket package specific to your vehicle. The manual states you must follow the instructions included with your specific bracket package to mount the brackets to your vehicle. The bracket package instructions are not included in this manual and must be obtained separately.
The step board attachment instructions are provided separately with your step board assembly. Refer to the instruction sheet included with your step board (MEGA STEP, O-MEGA STEP, or SES) for mounting instructions to the 571523 brackets.
Position the O-MEGA step so that the square head screws (part 106880) are located in the slots of the mounting brackets and the step is centered front to rear on the vehicle. Then install the 5/16" serrated flange nuts and tighten to 19 lb-ft.
The 1.5" nylon isolator washers (part 108442) are installed between the mounting bracket and the factory studs on the rocker panel. They help isolate the bracket from the vehicle and are part of the no-drill mounting system.
If installing stainless steel side entry steps, leave the flange nuts finger tight only during initial installation to assist with alignment of the step plate. After checking that all brackets are level, tighten all flange nuts fully.
After installing the brackets on both the left and right sides of the vehicle, check that all brackets are level before tightening all flange nuts. This ensures proper alignment and support for the step assembly.
