Like many LUVERNE side steps and running boards, O-Mega II 6" oval side steps are made to work hard and to do it with style. They are constructed from strong, lightweight, rust-free aluminum, and to truly make them a step up from the rest, we shield them in a highly durable powder coat finish. This ensures maximum corrosion resistance and excellent protection against scuffs and scratches. The side steps are available in two powder coat finish options, including textured black and silver powder coat. O-Mega II side steps are also made to provide safe, comfortable entry and exit from your vehicle. They feature tough aluminum step pads with protruded circular treads that will never wear or crack. The step pads offer a non-skid surface, and they are finished with a textured black powder coat for lasting corrosion resistance. Also unique to our O-Mega II step pads is their customizable positioning. The pads are packaged unattached from the tubes and mount with self-tapping screws. This allows you to precisely match the layout of your vehicle to suit your preferences. You can mount them to the provided factory specifications or adjust them to a custom placement. The 6" x 2-3/4" tubes are fitted with black TPO plastic end caps, adding a modern, professional look. The end caps are also paintable to allow for even further customization. Each set of O-Mega II side steps is designed for vehicle-specific installation and fitment, using a unique set of mounting brackets. This particular set of side steps fits specific years of the Ram 2500 and 3500 (see application info to verify fitment). NOTE: Mounting brackets are included but ship separately.
LUVERNE O-Mega II 6" oval side steps are made to work hard and to do it with style. They are constructed from strong, lightweight, rust-free aluminum and shielded in a highly durable powder coat finish of textured black or smooth silver.

LUVERNE has manufactured truck accessories in the United States since 1963, specialising in grille guards, running boards, side steps and mud guards for pickups, commercial vans and SUVs. Products are built primarily from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, with model-specific mounting kits that use existing frame locations for a bolt-on installation.
LUVERNE has been manufacturing automotive accessories in the United States since 1963, and six decades of continuous production have made it a nationally recognised name in the truck accessory market. Now a Lippert brand, it concentrates on a defined set of products rather than spreading across the whole aftermarket: front-end protection, step access and spray protection for pickup trucks, commercial vans and sport utility vehicles.
Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.
Rounding out the line, LUVERNE mud guards and mud flaps shield rocker panels, paint and following vehicles from stones and road spray, in widths matched to the tyre and fender they sit behind. Material choice runs through everything the brand does: stainless steel where appearance and corrosion resistance matter most, aluminium where weight is the priority, and mild steel with protective coating where strength and value lead. Customers include contractors, fleet operators, van upfitters and truck owners.

Leave finger-tight. 7. Place a flat washer (part 100034) and M8 flange nut (part 105859) on the threaded stud of the T-bolt. Leave finger-tight. 8. Rotate the T-bolt so the threaded nut is visible through the slotted hole in the upper mounting flange. 9. Insert an M8 X 25mm screw (part 102549) with a 5/16" flat washer (part 100034) through the slotted hole. Leave finger-tight. 10. Repeat steps 2.5–2.8 for the middle (part 553007) and rear (part 553008) brackets. 11. For the passenger side, use part 553007 for the front bracket, part 553006 for the middle bracket, and part 553009 for the rear bracket, mirroring the driver's side installation.
Finger-tight means tightened by hand only, without using tools. During bracket installation, all fasteners (carriage bolts, M8 screws, and flange nuts) must be left finger-tight until the step plates are installed and adjusted. This allows for alignment and positioning before final tightening.
The manual states to install the step plates and adjust brackets and boards before tightening all fasteners. However, the specific final torque values for the bracket fasteners (carriage bolts, M8 screws, and M8 flange nuts) are not provided in the manual. Consult the bracket kit instructions or contact the manufacturer for final torque specifications.

Use five 8-18 X 1/2" TEK screws (part 107958) per step pad. Drill 1/8" holes using the step pad as a guide before installing the screws.
When installing the T-bolt weldment (part 553012) into the rocker panel, be careful not to drop the T-bolt inside the rocker panel. Attach the flat plastic bolt retainer (part 101572) to the threaded stud immediately to prevent the T-bolt from falling into the rocker panel. Read all instructions completely and verify all required parts are on hand before starting installation.
After installation, verify that: 1. The step is centered front to rear on the vehicle. 2. All fasteners are tightened to the specified torque values (5 LB FT for end cap nuts, 19 LB FT for square head screw nuts). 3. The step pads are securely attached with all five TEK screws per pad. 4.
