LUVERNE O-Mega II 6" oval wheel-to-wheel steps are the perfect side steps for offroad trucks and work trucks alike. They feature an aggressive look, highly functional step pads, a non-corrosive construction and a vehicle-specific fit. O-Mega II wheel-to-wheel steps are truly modern side steps for modern trucks. With their oval-shaped board profile, rounded end caps and angular step pads, they provide an aggressive look. The step pads also feature a unique cutout pattern and raised circular treads for an unmistakable accent. O-Mega II side steps are not only built for style, but they offer superior safety every time you climb into the cab. The step pads are made from aluminum to outlast the harsh elements and ensure maximum traction and wear resistance for the raised treads. These wheel-to-wheel steps are extra-long and are equipped with additional step pads toward the rear, giving you a solid and convenient step for reach into the truck bed. They?re perfect for accessing a truck tool box, headache rack, 5th wheel hitch or cargo in the truck bed. To ensure that LUVERNE O-Mega II oval wheel-to-wheel side steps are able to withstand anything the road or trail throws your way, they are constructed from aluminum alloy. Aluminum supplies dependable strength and rigidity, while maintaining unparalleled corrosion resistance and a lightweight design. These side steps and the step pads are also protected in a durable powder coat finish. The boards are available in your choice of carbide black or chrome powder coat. O-Mega II wheel-to-wheel steps are engineered for a fast, easy, secure installation, featuring vehicle-specific brackets for a custom fit. This particular set is designed to fit specific years of the Ram 3500 (see application information to verify fitment; brackets included but shipped separately).
LUVERNE O-Mega II 6" oval wheel-to-wheel side steps are made to work hard and to do it with style. They are constructed from strong, lightweight, rust-free aluminum and shielded in a highly durable powder coat finish of textured black or smooth silver.

LUVERNE has manufactured truck accessories in the United States since 1963, specialising in grille guards, running boards, side steps and mud guards for pickups, commercial vans and SUVs. Products are built primarily from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, with model-specific mounting kits that use existing frame locations for a bolt-on installation.
LUVERNE has been manufacturing automotive accessories in the United States since 1963, and six decades of continuous production have made it a nationally recognised name in the truck accessory market. Now a Lippert brand, it concentrates on a defined set of products rather than spreading across the whole aftermarket: front-end protection, step access and spray protection for pickup trucks, commercial vans and sport utility vehicles.
Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.
Rounding out the line, LUVERNE mud guards and mud flaps shield rocker panels, paint and following vehicles from stones and road spray, in widths matched to the tyre and fender they sit behind. Material choice runs through everything the brand does: stainless steel where appearance and corrosion resistance matter most, aluminium where weight is the priority, and mild steel with protective coating where strength and value lead. Customers include contractors, fleet operators, van upfitters and truck owners.

The O-MEGA II 6" Oval Steps package includes two extrusion assemblies (available in silver or black aluminum in five different lengths: 95.0", 99.0", 105.0", 111.0", or 122.0"), step pads, end caps, square head bolts, serrated flange nuts, and TEK screws. The exact extrusion length depends on your vehicle model. Refer to the service parts list for the complete component breakdown.
No. The W2W MEGA STEP Bracket model 571338 is specifically designed for 2013-2015 RAM 3500 Pickups only. The manual notes that 2009-2012 RAM trucks do not have obround holes in the pinchweld and will require drilling 5/16" holes for each bracket, which is a different installation procedure.
The O-MEGA II steps are described as a universal application. However, you must use the bracket package specific to your vehicle. The manual provides a step pad location guide for Silverado, Sierra, Chevrolet Express, GMC Savana, RAM, and Ford F150 and Super Duty models. If your vehicle is not listed, consult the bracket package instructions for your specific vehicle.
The manual does not specify which tools are required for installation. You will need a drill to create 1/8" holes for the step pad attachment and to drill 5/16" holes in the pinchweld if your RAM truck is a 2009-2012 model. Consult the bracket package instructions for your vehicle to determine what additional tools may be needed for bracket installation.
Read the complete installation instructions and verify that all required parts listed on the service parts list are on hand before starting. Then follow the instructions included with the specific bracket package for your vehicle to mount the brackets. Do not begin attaching the steps to the brackets until the brackets are properly installed.
Use the Step Pad Location Guide on sheet 2 to determine the correct position for your vehicle. The guide provides measurements for Pad A and Pad B locations for various Silverado, Sierra, RAM, Ford F150, and Ford Super Duty models. Note that these are suggestions and may be placed at the purchaser's discretion. For vehicles not listed, position them according to your preference.
Yes. When installing the step pads on the steps, you must drill five 1/8" holes using the step pad as a guide, then attach the pads with five 8-18 X 1/2" TEK screws. This drilling is required for all installations.
Yes. 2009-2012 RAM trucks do not have obround holes in the pinchweld and will require drilling two 5/16" holes for each bracket. To locate the holes, follow step 2.5 to position the bracket, then mark the pinchweld for drilling. After drilling, skip to steps 2.7 and 2.8 to complete the installation.
Tighten the nuts on the end caps (Item #3) to 5 lb ft.
Install 5/16" serrated flange nuts (Item #5) on the square head screws (Item #4) and tighten to 19 lb ft.
Position the O-MEGA step on the mounting brackets so that the square head screws (Item #4) are located in the slots of the mounting brackets and the step is centered front to rear on the vehicle. Install 5/16" serrated flange nuts (Item #5) on the square head screws and tighten to 19 lb ft.
1. Install square head bolts into the designated slots in the bottom of the step plates. 2. Install end caps and tighten nuts to 5 lb ft. 3. Attach step pads by drilling five 1/8" holes and securing with five 8-18 X 1/2" TEK screws. 4. Position the assembled step on the mounting brackets with square head screws in the bracket slots, centered front to rear. 5. Install and tighten 5/16" serrated flange nuts to 19 lb ft.
Mount the box step pad first, approximately 1/2" from the end cap, then mount the middle step pad accordingly. This is necessary due to the shortness of some boxes.
1. Place the driver's side front bracket (Item #1) against the pinchweld with the lower mounting flange to the outside. 2. Align the two rectangular holes with the obround holes in the pinchweld. 3. Insert two 1/4-20 X 1" carriage bolts (Item #7) through the lower mounting flange and pinchweld. 4. Add a 1/4" flat washer (Item #8) and 1/4-20 flange nut (Item #9); leave finger tight. 5. Insert an M8 X 25mm screw (Item #10) with a 5/16" flat washer (Item #11) through the upper mounting flange slots; leave finger tight. 6. Repeat for middle and rear brackets. 7. Mirror this process on the passenger side, using Item #2 for front, Item #1 for middle, and Item #4 for rear.
1. Install the T-bolt weldment (Item #13) into the large obround hole in the rocker panel's vertical wall, nut end first, leaving the threaded stud exposed. 2. Attach the plastic bolt retainer (Item #14) to the threaded stud to prevent it from falling into the rocker panel. 3. Place the driver's side front bracket (Item #1) against the pinchweld with the lower mounting flange to the outside. 4. Insert two 1/4-20 X 1" carriage bolts (Item #7) through the lower mounting flange and pinchweld. 5. Add a 1/4" flat washer (Item #8) and 1/4-20 flange nut (Item #9); leave finger tight. 6. Place a flat washer (Item #10) and M8 flange nut (Item #12) on the T-bolt's threaded stud; leave finger tight. 7. Rotate the T-bolt so the threaded nut is visible through the slotted hole in the upper mounting flange. 8. Insert an M8 X 25mm screw (Item #10) with a 5/16" flat washer (Item #11); leave finger tight. 9. Repeat for middle and rear brackets. 10. Mirror on the passenger side.
1. Loosen the bolt that fastens the leaf spring to the vehicle. 2. Slide the upper mounting bracket (Item #6) between the bolt head and the frame bracket. 3. Place a 3/8" bolt and washer (Items #15, #17) through the hole in the upper mounting bracket and frame bracket. 4. Fasten with a 3/8" serrated flange nut (Item #16). 5. Tighten the leaf spring bolt, ensuring the upper mounting bracket is level. 6. Fasten the lower bracket (Item #5) to the upper bracket (Item #6) using a 3/8" bolt, washer, and flange nut (Items #15, #16, #17) through the two lower holes in the upper bracket, ensuring it sits level to the front brackets.
No. Leave all fasteners finger tight during the initial installation steps. Install the step plates and adjust the brackets and boards before tightening all fasteners.
Two 1/4-20 X 1" carriage bolts (Item #7) are inserted through the lower mounting flange and pinchweld. Each bolt is secured with a 1/4" flat washer (Item #8) and a 1/4-20 flange nut (Item #9).
An M8 X 25mm screw (Item #10) with a 5/16" flat washer (Item #11) is inserted through the slots on the upper mounting flange. For trucks without threaded inserts, an M8 flange nut (Item #12) is also placed on the T-bolt's threaded stud.
The W2W MEGA STEP Bracket model 571338 fits 2013-2015 RAM 3500 Pickups only. For other RAM models or years, you will need a different bracket package.
Yes. You must drill five 1/8" holes in each step to attach the step pads with TEK screws. If you have a 2009-2012 RAM truck, you will also need to drill two 5/16" holes in the pinchweld for each bracket.
Tighten end cap nuts to 5 lb ft and the 5/16" serrated flange nuts on the square head screws to 19 lb ft. No torque specifications are provided for the W2W bracket fasteners; leave them finger tight until all brackets and boards are installed and adjusted.
Read the complete instructions and verify that all required parts from the service parts list are on hand. Ensure you have the correct bracket package for your specific vehicle before beginning.
Center the step front to rear on the vehicle with the square head screws located in the bracket slots. Use the Step Pad Location Guide to position the step pads at the correct distances from the end caps for your vehicle model.
Leave all fasteners finger tight during installation. Tighten them only after the step plates are installed and all brackets and boards are adjusted and positioned correctly.
