LUVERNE Regal 7 oval wheel-to-wheel steps are the ultimate combination of deluxe style and reliable functionality. They feature extra rear step pads for convenient truck bed access, a highly rust-resistant construction and a vehicle-specific fit for your truck. Regal 7 wheel-to-wheel steps are engineered for practical access to the bed of your truck, featuring an extended length and extra rear step pads. Wheel-to-wheel running boards give you a solid step up for easily reaching items in the truck bed, such as a truck tool box, ladder rack, 5th wheel hitch or other equipment. Regal 7 oval side steps are fitted with large, non-skid step pads. They feature a 7" width and a textured surface, providing enhanced comfort and safety when climbing in and out of your pickup truck. The step pads and matching end caps of Regal 7 wheel-to-wheel steps are angled for a sleek accent. To ensure excellent strength and lasting corrosion resistance, Regal 7 oval side steps are constructed from stainless steel. The stainless steel tubing measures 7" wide and has an elliptical shape for style and strength. All Regal 7 side steps are designed for a custom-fit installation, using vehicle-specific brackets. The brackets are built from strong carbon steel and have a durable black powder coat finish. They install using pre-existing mounting points on the truck to greatly reduce installation time and eliminate tedious modifications. This particular set of LUVERNE Regal 7 oval wheel-to-wheel steps is designed to fit specific years of the Ram 1500 and Dodge Ram 1500 (see application information to verify fitment; brackets included but shipped separately).
Regal 7 oval wheel-to-wheel side steps are designed to be the largest oval nerf bars on the market, featuring a patented design, non-skid step pads and a sleek nerf bar styling. They have full-width step pads for non-skid comfort and safety.

LUVERNE has manufactured truck accessories in the United States since 1963, specialising in grille guards, running boards, side steps and mud guards for pickups, commercial vans and SUVs. Products are built primarily from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, with model-specific mounting kits that use existing frame locations for a bolt-on installation.
LUVERNE has been manufacturing automotive accessories in the United States since 1963, and six decades of continuous production have made it a nationally recognised name in the truck accessory market. Now a Lippert brand, it concentrates on a defined set of products rather than spreading across the whole aftermarket: front-end protection, step access and spray protection for pickup trucks, commercial vans and sport utility vehicles.
Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.
Rounding out the line, LUVERNE mud guards and mud flaps shield rocker panels, paint and following vehicles from stones and road spray, in widths matched to the tyre and fender they sit behind. Material choice runs through everything the brand does: stainless steel where appearance and corrosion resistance matter most, aluminium where weight is the priority, and mild steel with protective coating where strength and value lead. Customers include contractors, fleet operators, van upfitters and truck owners.

The Regal 7 Oval Steps are designed for 09-16 RAM 1500 Pickups when used with the W2W Mega/Grip Step Brackets (model 570939/400939). The manual specifies extended cab models 477097 (96"), 477101 (100"), and 477113 (112"), and crew cab models 477102 (100"), 477108 (106"), 477114 (112"), and 477125 (123"). Installation requires the specific bracket package for your vehicle configuration.
Yes. The step is pre-assembled from the factory. The serial number label is located on the front inside driver's side step assembly.
The steps include 5/16-18 x 1" black stainless steel hex bolts, washers, and serrated flange nuts (items #10, 11, and 12 in the generic parts list). For the W2W Mega/Grip bracket system on RAM 1500, additional fasteners are provided including M12-110mm bolts, 3/8-16 screws, 1/2-13 hex screws, and 5/16-18 black hex screws with corresponding washers and nuts.
Yes. You must remove the factory front, center, and rear body mount bolts on the right side of the vehicle. These factory bolts will not be reused. They are replaced with the M12-110mm bolts and washers supplied with the bracket kit.
If a cast iron dampener is present on the rear body mount of your RAM 1500, it must be removed and will not be reused. This is required before installing the rear mounting bracket.
Set the step on the mounting brackets and slide each support mounting plate (item #9) inside the oval step and above each bracket. Using the supplied 5/16-18 x 1" black stainless steel hex bolt, washer, and serrated flange nut (items #10, 11, and 12), attach the step assembly, support mounting plate, and mounting bracket. Set the step plate in the correct position before tightening.
1. Assemble load reaction studs with hardware (3" studs for rear, 4" stud for front). 2. Attach load reaction stud assemblies to mounting brackets. 3. Remove factory body mount bolts and install front, center, and rear mounting brackets (leave finger tight). 4. Remove cast iron dampener if present. 5. Attach inboard and outboard W2W brackets to frame (leave loose). 6. Attach step plate per separate step plate instructions. 7. Tighten all bolts and nuts. 8. Position load reaction studs so rubber cushion is snug against frame, then tighten.
Use a 4" stud (item #19) for the front bracket and a 3" stud (item #18) for the rear brackets. On the short threaded end, install a 3/8" serrated flange nut (item #17) backwards to the bottom of the thread, then install a 3/8" flat washer (item #16) and rubber cushion washer (item #15) tight against the serrated flange nut. The end of the stud must be recessed in the rubber washer approximately 3/16". On the long threaded end, install a 3/8" serrated flange nut (item #17) backwards near the bottom of the threads.
Insert the stud from the inboard (frame side) through the lowest hole in the bent flange of the bracket that will allow the rubber washer to seat firmly against the side wall of the frame. Install a flange nut (item #17) on the outboard end of the stud (finger tight only) at this stage.
Use M12-110mm bolts (item #13) and 2.0" washers (item #14) to attach both the front and center mounting brackets to their respective body mounts. Leave these fasteners finger tight during initial installation.
Use M12-110mm bolts (item #13) and 1/2" flat washers (item #21) to attach the rear mounting bracket to the rear body mount. Leave these fasteners finger tight during initial installation.
Attach the rear outboard mounting bracket (item #7 or #8) to the rear inboard mounting bracket (item #5 or #6) in the lower mounting holes using three 3/8-16 x 1.0 screws, 3/8" flat washers, and 3/8" flange nuts (items #20, #16, #17).
Attach the inboard mounting brackets (item #9 or #10) to the frame using 1/2-13 x 1.00 hex screws, 1/2" washers, and 1/2-13 serrated flange nuts (items #22, #21, #23). Leave this bracket loose at this time. Note that these mounting brackets are not the same from left to right.
Attach the W2W support bracket (item #12) to the inboard mounting bracket using two 3/8-16 x 1" hex screws, two 3/8" washers, and two 3/8-16 flange nuts (items #20, #16, #17). Also attach it to the frame using a 1/2"-13 x 1" hex screw, a 1/2" washer, and a 1/2"-13 serrated flange nut (items #22, #21, #23). Leave this bracket loose at this time.
Install the W2W outboard mounting bracket (item #11) to the inboard W2W bracket using two black 5/16"-18 x 1" hex screws, two black 5/16" washers, and two black 5/16"-18 flange nuts (items #25, #26, #24). Leave this bracket loose at this time.
Torque all 5/16" fasteners to 19 LB FT.
Tighten the 1/2"-13 flange nuts to 60 LB FT.
Tighten the 3/8" flange nuts on either side of the bracket to 19 LB FT.
Position the load reaction stud assembly so that the rubber cushion is snug up against the side of the frame before final tightening. This ensures proper load distribution and frame contact.
Yes. During initial installation, leave all body mount bolts, inboard mounting brackets, W2W support brackets, and W2W outboard mounting brackets finger tight or loose. Tighten all bolts and nuts only after the step plate is attached and positioned correctly.
Yes, the Regal 7 Oval Steps (models 477097, 477101, 477113 for extended cabs; 477102, 477108, 477114, 477125 for crew cabs) are designed for 09-16 RAM 1500 Pickups when installed with the W2W Mega/Grip Step Brackets (model 570939/400939). Confirm your cab style and bed length match your model number.
The manual does not specify required tools. You will need standard wrenches or sockets to install M12, 1/2", 3/8", and 5/16" fasteners, and a torque wrench to achieve the specified torque values (19 LB FT for 5/16" and 3/8" fasteners, 60 LB FT for 1/2"-13 flange nuts).
Yes. You must remove the factory front, center, and rear body mount bolts on the right side of the vehicle. These are not reused and are replaced with the supplied M12-110mm bolts.
Yes, the steps arrive pre-assembled from the factory. You only need to attach them to the mounting brackets using the supplied 5/16-18 x 1" fasteners and torque to 19 LB FT.
