Regal 7 wheel-to-wheel steps are engineered for practical access to the bed of your truck, featuring an extended length and extra rear step pads. Wheel-to-wheel running boards give you a solid step up for easily reaching items in the truck bed, such as a truck tool box, ladder rack, 5th wheel hitch or other equipment. Regal 7 oval side steps are fitted with large, non-skid step pads. They feature a 7" width and a textured surface, providing enhanced comfort and safety when climbing in and out of your pickup truck. The step pads and matching end caps of Regal 7 wheel-to-wheel steps are angled for a sleek accent. To ensure excellent strength and lasting corrosion resistance, Regal 7 oval side steps are constructed from stainless steel. The stainless steel tubing measures 7" wide and has an elliptical shape for style and strength. All Regal 7 side steps are designed for a custom-fit installation, using vehicle-specific brackets. The brackets are built from strong carbon steel and have a durable black powder coat finish. They install using pre-existing mounting points on the truck to greatly reduce installation time and eliminate tedious modifications. This particular set of LUVERNE Regal 7 oval wheel-to-wheel steps is designed to fit specific years of the Ram 3500 (see application information to verify fitment; brackets included but shipped separately).

The Regal 7 Oval Step is a pre-assembled step board system for pickup trucks. It comes as a complete assembly with the serial number label located on the front inside of the driver's side step assembly. The step includes support mounting plates, fasteners, end caps, step pads, and all hardware needed for installation to mounting brackets. Installation requires separate mounting brackets (model 571339/401339 W2W MEGA/GRIP STEP BRACKETS) to be installed first per their own instructions.
For Extended Cab RAM 3500 pickups, Curt offers three Regal 7 Oval Step models: Model 477097 (96" length, part numbers 552074 LH / 552075 RH), Model 477101 (100" length, part numbers 552076 LH / 552077 RH), and Model 477113 (112" length, part numbers 552078 LH / 552079 RH). Choose the model that matches your truck's bed length.

The same mounting bracket model (571339/401339 W2W MEGA/GRIP STEP BRACKETS) is used for all cab styles, but the rear bracket orientation differs. For Regular, Quad, and Crew Cab pickups, refer to Figure 1 for rear bracket orientation. For Mega Cab pickups, refer to Figure 2. The bracket installation instructions will specify the correct orientation for your cab style.
The Regal 7 Oval Step includes: 20 hex head screws (5/16-18 x 1.0", stainless steel, black), 20 flat washers (5/16", stainless steel, black), 20 serrated flange nuts (5/16-18, stainless steel), 8 carriage bolts (10-24 x 0.50", stainless steel, black), 6 carriage bolts (10-24 x 1.0", stainless steel, black), 44 nylock nuts (10-24, stainless steel), 2 end caps (black plastic), 6 step pads (25" x 6.5", black plastic), and 10 support mounting plates (11 gauge, galvanized). Additional 15" x 6.5" step pads are available if needed (part number 108913).
Yes. The manual states: 'Follow the instructions included with the specific bracket package that you are using to mount the brackets to your vehicle.' The mounting brackets (model 571339/401339 W2W MEGA/GRIP STEP BRACKETS) must be installed first according to their own instructions. Once the brackets are in place, the step is then attached to them.
Yes. The step is pre-assembled from the factory. The serial number label is located on the front inside of the driver's side step assembly. No assembly of the step itself is required before installation.
1. Set the step on the mounting brackets. 2. Slide each support mounting plate (item #9) inside the oval step and above each bracket. 3. Using the supplied 5/16-18 x 1" black stainless steel hex bolt, washer, and serrated flange nut (items #10, #11, #12), attach the step assembly, support mounting plate, and mounting bracket together. 4. Set the step plate in the correct position. 5. Tighten all fasteners to 19 LB FT torque.
All 5/16" fasteners (5/16-18 x 1" hex bolts with washers and serrated flange nuts) must be torqued to 19 LB FT.
After installation, verify that the step plate is in the correct position and that all fasteners are tightened to the specified 19 LB FT torque. Ensure the step is secure and level before use.
Yes, the Regal 7 Oval Step is designed for 2013-2015 RAM 3500 pickups in Extended Cab, Quad Cab, Crew Cab, and Mega Cab configurations. Choose the model matching your bed length: 477097 (96"), 477101 (100"), 477113 (112") for Extended Cab; 477102 (100"), 477108 (106"), 477114 (112"), 477125 (123") for Crew Cab.
