Regal 7 wheel-to-wheel steps are engineered for practical access to the bed of your truck, featuring an extended length and extra rear step pads. Wheel-to-wheel running boards give you a solid step up for easily reaching items in the truck bed, such as a truck tool box, ladder rack, 5th wheel hitch or other equipment. Regal 7 oval side steps are fitted with large, non-skid step pads. They feature a 7" width and a textured surface, providing enhanced comfort and safety when climbing in and out of your pickup truck. The step pads and matching end caps of Regal 7 wheel-to-wheel steps are angled for a sleek accent. To ensure excellent strength and lasting corrosion resistance, Regal 7 oval side steps are constructed from stainless steel. The stainless steel tubing measures 7" wide and has an elliptical shape for style and strength. All Regal 7 side steps are designed for a custom-fit installation, using vehicle-specific brackets. The brackets are built from strong carbon steel and have a durable black powder coat finish. They install using pre-existing mounting points on the truck to greatly reduce installation time and eliminate tedious modifications. This particular set of LUVERNE Regal 7 oval wheel-to-wheel steps is designed to fit specific years of the Ram 3500 (see application information to verify fitment; brackets included but shipped separately).

The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.

The Regal 7 Oval Steps are pre-assembled step boards for truck cabs. They come fully assembled from the factory with the serial number label located on the front inside of the driver's side step assembly. The steps are boards only and require separate mounting brackets to attach to your vehicle. The kit includes support mounting plates, fasteners (5/16-18 x 1" black stainless steel hex bolts, washers, and serrated flange nuts), end caps, step pads, and carriage bolts as listed in the service parts list.
Three Extended Cab models are available: Model 477097 (96" length), Model 477101 (100" length), and Model 477113 (112" length). Each model comes in left-hand and right-hand versions. Verify your truck's cab style and bed length before ordering to ensure correct fitment.

The Model 401338 is a Regal 7/Grip Step Bracket Kit designed specifically for 2013 and newer Dodge Ram 3500 Cab Pickups. It includes mounting brackets, fasteners, and hardware needed to attach step boards to these vehicles. The bracket kit must be installed before attaching the step boards.
The steps attach to the mounting brackets using 5/16-18 x 1" black stainless steel hex bolts (part #106997), 5/16" flat washers (part #106998), and 5/16-18 serrated flange nuts (part #102680). Each step requires one bolt, washer, and nut assembly per support mounting plate. All 5/16" fasteners must be torqued to 19 LB FT.
The Regal 7 Oval Steps are pre-assembled from the factory. You do not need to assemble the step itself. The serial number label is located on the front inside of the driver's side step assembly for identification. You only need to attach the pre-assembled step to the mounting brackets.
Before starting installation, read all instructions completely and verify that all required parts listed in the service parts list are on hand. Then follow the instructions included with the specific bracket package you are using to mount the brackets to your vehicle. The brackets must be installed first before attaching the step boards.
1. Set the step on the mounting brackets. 2. Slide each support mounting plate (item #9) inside the oval step and above each bracket. 3. Insert a 5/16-18 x 1" black stainless steel hex bolt through the support mounting plate and mounting bracket. 4. Place a 5/16" flat washer and 5/16-18 serrated flange nut on the bolt. 5. Set the step plate in the correct position and tighten all fasteners to 19 LB FT.
All 5/16" fasteners on the Regal 7 Oval Steps must be torqued to 19 LB FT. This applies to the 5/16-18 x 1" hex bolts that attach the step assembly, support mounting plates, and mounting brackets together.
1. Place the driver's side front bracket (item #1) against the pinchweld with the lower mounting flange to the outside. 2. Align the two rectangular holes in the lower mounting flange with the two obround holes in the pinchweld. 3. Insert two 1/4-20 x 1" carriage bolts (item #8) through the lower mounting flange and pinchweld. 4. Place a 1/4" flat washer (item #9) and 1/4-20 flange nut (item #10) on each bolt and leave finger tight. 5. Insert an M8 x 25mm screw (item #11) with a 5/16" flat washer (item #12) through the slots on the upper mounting flange and leave finger tight. 6. Repeat for the middle and rear brackets (item #2). 7. Mirror this process on the passenger side, using item #2 for the front bracket and item #1 for the middle and rear brackets.
1. Install the T-bolt weldment (item #14) into the large obround hole in the vertical wall of the rocker panel, inserting the nut end first and leaving the threaded stud sticking out. Be careful not to drop the T-bolt inside the rocker panel. 2. Attach the flat plastic bolt retainer (item #15) to the threaded stud to prevent the T-bolt from falling. 3. Place the driver's side front bracket (item #1) against the pinchweld with the lower mounting flange to the outside. 4. Align the two rectangular holes in the lower mounting flange with the two obround holes in the pinchweld. 5. Insert two 1/4-20 x 1" carriage bolts (item #8) through the lower mounting flange and pinchweld. 6. Place a 1/4" flat washer (item #9) and 1/4-20 flange nut (item #10) on each bolt and leave finger tight. 7. Place a flat washer (item #12) and M8 flange nut (item #13) on the threaded stud of the T-bolt and leave finger tight. 8. Rotate the T-bolt so the threaded nut is visible through the slotted hole in the upper mounting flange. 9. Insert an M8 x 25mm screw (item #11) with a 5/16" flat washer (item #12) and leave finger tight. 10. Repeat steps 2.5-2.8 for the middle and rear brackets (item #2). 11. Mirror this process on the passenger side.
1. Loosen the bolt that fastens the leaf spring to the vehicle. 2. Slide the upper mounting bracket (item #4) between the bolt head and the frame bracket. 3. Place a 3/8" bolt and washer (items #5 and #7) through the hole in the upper mounting bracket and frame bracket. 4. Fasten with a 3/8" serrated flange nut (item #6). 5. Tighten the leaf spring bolt while ensuring the upper mounting bracket is level.
Fasten the lower bracket (item #3) to the upper bracket (item #4) using a 3/8" bolt, washer, and flange nut (items #5, #6, and #7). Use the two lower holes in the upper bracket and ensure the lower bracket sits level to the front brackets.
Install the step plates and adjust the brackets and boards before tightening all fasteners. This allows you to ensure proper alignment and level positioning before final tightening.
The support mounting plates (item #9, part #552052) are 11-gauge galvanized steel plates that slide inside the oval step and sit above each mounting bracket. They distribute the load from the step to the brackets and are secured with the 5/16-18 x 1" hex bolts, washers, and serrated flange nuts. Ten support mounting plates are included in the service parts list.
End caps (items #3 and #4, parts #109233 and #109232) are black plastic caps that finish the ends of the step. Step pads (item #6, part #108909) are 25" x 6.5" black plastic pads that provide traction on the step surface. Six step pads are included. Optional 15" x 6.5" step pads (item #13, part #108913) are available if needed for specific applications.
Two types of carriage bolts are used: 10-24 x 0.50" stainless steel black carriage bolts (item #5, part #107863, qty 8) and 10-24 x 1.0" stainless steel black carriage bolts (item #7, part #108908, qty 36). These are used to attach the step pads and end caps to the step assembly.
For pinchweld attachment, the kit uses 1/4-20 x 1.00" stainless steel black carriage bolts (item #8, part #101320, qty 12), 1/4" flat washers (item #9, part #101370, qty 12), and 1/4-20 flange nuts (item #10, part #102366, qty 12). These fasteners attach the front, middle, and rear brackets to the vehicle's pinchweld.
For the upper mounting flange, the kit uses M8 x 1.25 x 25mm zinc-plated hex head screws (item #11, part #102549, qty 12) and 5/16" flat washers (item #12, part #100034, qty 12). These fasteners attach through the slots on the upper mounting flange.
For leaf spring shackle attachment, the kit uses 3/8-16 x 1.0" zinc-plated hex head screws (item #7, part #100040, qty 6), 3/8" flat washers (item #5, part #100062, qty 6), and 3/8-16 serrated flange nuts (item #6, part #100181, qty 6). These fasteners attach the upper and lower brackets to the leaf spring shackle.
T-bolt weldments (item #14, part #553012, qty 6) are used on Dodge Ram 3500 trucks that do not have threaded inserts in the rocker panel. The T-bolt is inserted into the large obround hole in the vertical wall of the rocker panel with the nut end first, leaving the threaded stud sticking out. A plastic bolt retainer (item #15, part #101572) is attached to the threaded stud to prevent the T-bolt from falling into the rocker panel.
The kit includes six mounting brackets: three driver's side front/middle right brackets (item #1, part #553092) and three passenger side front/middle left brackets (item #2, part #553093). Additionally, two lower grip brackets (item #3, part #552125) and two upper grip brackets (item #4, part #552147) are included for attaching to the leaf spring shackle.
