Regal 7 oval side steps are fitted with large, non-skid step pads. They feature a 7" width and a textured surface, providing enhanced comfort and safety when climbing in and out of your pickup truck. The step pads and matching end caps of Regal 7 wheel-to-wheel steps are angled for a sleek accent. To ensure excellent strength and lasting corrosion resistance, Regal 7 oval side steps are constructed from stainless steel. The stainless steel tubing measures 7" wide and has an elliptical shape for style and strength. All Regal 7 side steps are designed for a custom-fit installation, using vehicle-specific brackets. The brackets are built from strong carbon steel and have a durable black powder coat finish. They install using pre-existing mounting points on the truck to greatly reduce installation time and eliminate tedious modifications. This particular set of LUVERNE Regal 7 oval wheel-to-wheel steps is designed to fit specific years of the Ram 2500 (see application information to verify fitment; brackets included but shipped separately).

Yes, the Regal 7 Oval Steps are pre-assembled from the factory. The serial number label is located on the front inside of the driver's side step assembly. You do not need to assemble the step itself; you only need to attach it to the mounting brackets.
1. Set the step on the mounting brackets. 2. Slide each support mounting plate (item #9) inside the oval step and above each bracket. 3. Using the supplied 5/16-18 x 1" black stainless steel hex bolt, washer, and serrated flange nut (items #10, #11, #12), attach the step assembly, support mounting plate, and mounting bracket. 4. Set the step plate in the correct position and tighten all fasteners to 19 lb-ft.
1. Assemble load reaction studs with hardware (3" studs for rear brackets, 4" for front). 2. Attach load reaction stud assemblies to mounting brackets. 3. Remove factory front, center, and rear body mount bolts (one side at a time). 4. Install front, center, and rear mounting brackets to body mounts (finger tight). 5. Attach rear outboard bracket to rear inboard bracket. 6. Attach upper mounting bracket to suspension link housing. 7. Fasten lower bracket to upper bracket. 8. Attach step plate per step plate assembly instructions. 9. Position load reaction stud assembly and tighten all 3/8" flange nuts to 19 lb-ft.
On the short threaded end of the stud: install a 3/8" serrated flange nut backwards to the bottom of the thread, then install a 3/8" flat washer and rubber cushion washer tight against the nut. The stud end must be recessed in the rubber washer approximately 3/16". On the long threaded end: install a 3/8" serrated flange nut backwards near the bottom of the threads. Use 3" studs (item #18) for rear brackets and 4" studs (item #19) for the front bracket.
During W2W bracket installation, leave the following fasteners finger tight until final assembly: the M12 – 110mm bolts attaching the front mounting bracket to the front body mount (step 4.1), the M12 – 110mm bolts attaching the center mounting bracket to the center body mount (step 4.2), the M12 – 116mm bolts attaching the rear mounting bracket to the rear body mount (step 4.3), and the flange nut on the outboard end of the load reaction stud (step 3). These are tightened to final torque only after the step plate is positioned and the load reaction stud assembly is properly seated.
Loosen the bolt that fastens the suspension links to the vehicle. Slide the upper mounting bracket (item #9) between the bolt head and the frame bracket. Tighten down the bolt, making sure the upper mounting bracket is level. Then fasten the lower bracket (item #11) to the upper bracket using 3/8" bolts, washers, and nuts through the two lower holes in the upper bracket, ensuring it sits level to the front brackets.
All 5/16" fasteners on the Regal 7 Oval Steps must be torqued to 19 lb-ft. This applies to the 5/16-18 x 1" hex bolts, washers, and serrated flange nuts that attach the step assembly to the mounting brackets.
The 3/8" serrated flange nuts on either side of the load reaction stud assembly must be torqued to 19 lb-ft. This is done after the load reaction stud assembly is positioned so that the rubber cushion is snug against the side of the frame.
The front mounting bracket is attached using M12 – 110mm hex head bolts (item #12) and 2.0" washers (item #14). Four bolts are included in the kit. These fasteners are left finger tight during initial installation and tightened to final torque after the step plate is positioned.
The rear mounting bracket is attached using M12 – 116mm hex head bolts (item #13) and ½" flat washers (item #21). Two bolts are included in the kit. These fasteners are left finger tight during initial installation. The rear bracket orientation differs between Reg/Quad/Crew cab and Mega cab pickups, so refer to the appropriate figure in the manual for your cab type.
Three 3/8-16 x 1.0" hex head screws are used, along with 3/8" flat washers and 3/8" flange nuts (items #16, #17, #20). These fasteners are installed in the upper mounting location of the rear inboard bracket.
3/8" bolts, washers, and nuts (items #16, #17, #20) are used to fasten the lower bracket (item #11) to the upper bracket (item #9) through the two lower holes in the upper bracket. The lower bracket must sit level to the front brackets.
