LUVERNE Regal 7 oval wheel-to-wheel steps are the ultimate combination of deluxe style and reliable functionality. They feature extra rear step pads for convenient truck bed access, a highly rust-resistant construction and a vehicle-specific fit for your truck. Regal 7 wheel-to-wheel steps are engineered for practical access to the bed of your truck, featuring an extended length and extra rear step pads. Wheel-to-wheel running boards give you a solid step up for easily reaching items in the truck bed, such as a truck tool box, ladder rack, 5th wheel hitch or other equipment. Regal 7 oval side steps are fitted with large, non-skid step pads. They feature a 7" width and a textured surface, providing e nhanced comfort and safety when climbing in and out of your pickup truck. The step pads and matching end caps of Regal 7 wheel-to-wheel steps are angled for a sleek accent. To ensure excellent strength and lasting corrosion resistance, Regal 7 oval side steps are constructed from stainless steel. The stainless steel tubing measures 7" wide and has an elliptical shape for style and strength. All Regal 7 side steps are designed for a custom-fit installation, using vehicle-specific brackets. The brackets are built from strong carbon steel and have a durable black powder coat finish. They install using pre-existing mounting points on the truck to greatly reduce installation time and eliminate tedious modifications. This particular set of LUVERNE Regal 7 oval wheel-to-wheel steps is designed to fit specific years of the Ram 2500 (see application information to verify fitment; brackets included but shipped separately).
Regal 7 oval wheel-to-wheel side steps are designed to be the largest oval nerf bars on the market, featuring a patented design, non-skid step pads and a sleek nerf bar styling. They have full-width step pads for non-skid comfort and safety.

LUVERNE has manufactured truck accessories in the United States since 1963, specialising in grille guards, running boards, side steps and mud guards for pickups, commercial vans and SUVs. Products are built primarily from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, with model-specific mounting kits that use existing frame locations for a bolt-on installation.
LUVERNE has been manufacturing automotive accessories in the United States since 1963, and six decades of continuous production have made it a nationally recognised name in the truck accessory market. Now a Lippert brand, it concentrates on a defined set of products rather than spreading across the whole aftermarket: front-end protection, step access and spray protection for pickup trucks, commercial vans and sport utility vehicles.
Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.
Rounding out the line, LUVERNE mud guards and mud flaps shield rocker panels, paint and following vehicles from stones and road spray, in widths matched to the tyre and fender they sit behind. Material choice runs through everything the brand does: stainless steel where appearance and corrosion resistance matter most, aluminium where weight is the priority, and mild steel with protective coating where strength and value lead. Customers include contractors, fleet operators, van upfitters and truck owners.

The Regal 7 Oval Step is pre-assembled from the factory and includes the step assembly, support mounting plates, fasteners (5/16-18 x 1" black stainless steel hex bolts, washers, and serrated flange nuts), end caps, step pads, carriage bolts, nylock nuts, and hardware. The serial number label is located on the front inside of the driver's side step assembly. Specific hardware quantities and part numbers are listed in the service parts list.
The W2W Mega/Grip Step Brackets are designed for 2014 and newer RAM 2500 pickups. They are compatible with regular cab, quad cab, crew cab, and mega cab configurations. Note that for regular cab pickups only, the front and rear cab mounting brackets are used; the center mounting bracket and fasteners may be discarded.
Yes. Extended cab models are available in 96" (477097), 100" (477101), and 112" (477113) lengths. Crew cab models are available in 100" (477102), 106" (477108), 112" (477114), and 123" (477125) lengths. Each model has left and right side steps with different part numbers.
Yes. The orientation of the rear mounting bracket (items #5, #6) is different between mega cab pickups and regular/quad/crew cab pickups. If installing on a regular, quad, or crew cab pickup, refer to Figure 1. If installing on a mega cab pickup, refer to Figure 2 in the installation instructions.
The step is attached using 5/16-18 x 1" black stainless steel hex bolts (item #10), 5/16" flat washers (item #11), and 5/16-18 serrated flange nuts (item #12). Each support mounting plate requires one bolt, washer, and nut assembly. All 5/16" fasteners are torqued to 19 LB FT.
Installation requires M12 – 110MM bolts (item #12, qty 4), M12 – 116MM bolts (item #13, qty 2), 2.0" washers (item #14, qty 4), ½" flat washers (item #21, qty 2), 3/8" flat washers (item #16, qty 16), 3/8-16 serrated flange nuts (item #17, qty 28), 3/8-16 x 1.0" screws (item #20, qty 10), 3" load reaction studs (item #18, qty 4), and 4" load reaction studs (item #19, qty 2). Rubber cushion washers (item #15, qty 6) are also required.
Yes. On the right side of the vehicle, you must remove the factory front, center, and rear body mount bolts. These factory bolts will not be reused. They are replaced with the supplied M12 bolts and washers as part of the bracket installation. For regular cab pickups, the center body mount bolt is removed but the center bracket and fasteners may be discarded after installation.
Load reaction studs transfer the load from the step to the vehicle frame. They are assembled with rubber cushion washers and serrated flange nuts, then inserted through the lowest hole in the bent flange of the mounting bracket. The rubber cushion washer must be recessed approximately 3/16" into the stud end and seated firmly against the frame side wall to provide vibration isolation and load distribution.
1. On the short threaded end of the stud, install a 3/8" serrated flange nut backwards to the bottom of the thread. 2. Install a 3/8" flat washer and rubber cushion washer tight against the serrated flange nut, with the stud end recessed approximately 3/16" into the rubber washer. 3. On the long threaded end, install a 3/8" serrated flange nut backwards near the bottom of the threads. Use a 4" stud (item #19) for the front bracket and a 3" stud (item #18) for the rear brackets.
1. Assemble load reaction studs with hardware. 2. Attach load reaction stud assemblies to mounting brackets. 3. Remove factory body mount bolts and install front, center (if applicable), and rear mounting brackets using M12 bolts and washers, leaving fasteners finger tight. 4. Attach rear outboard bracket to rear inboard bracket using 3/8-16 x 1.0" screws, washers, and nuts. 5. Attach upper mounting bracket to suspension link housing by loosening the suspension link bolt, sliding the bracket between the bolt head and frame bracket, then retightening. 6. Fasten lower bracket to upper bracket using 3/8" hardware. 7. Position load reaction stud assembly so rubber cushion is snug against frame. 8. Tighten all 3/8" flange nuts to 19 LB FT. 9. Attach step plate per step plate assembly instructions.
1. Set the step on the mounting brackets. 2. Slide each support mounting plate (item #9) inside the oval step and above each bracket. 3. Using the supplied 5/16-18 x 1" black stainless steel hex bolt, washer, and serrated flange nut (items #10, #11, #12), attach the step assembly, support mounting plate, and mounting bracket. 4. Set the step plate in the correct position. 5. Tighten all fasteners and torque all 5/16" fasteners to 19 LB FT.
Yes. When installing the front, center, and rear body mount brackets, leave all M12 bolts finger tight initially (sections 4.1, 4.2, 4.3). Only after positioning the load reaction stud assembly so the rubber cushion is snug against the frame should you tighten the 3/8" flange nuts on either side of the bracket to 19 LB FT (section 7). The manual does not specify when to fully tighten the M12 body mount bolts.
All 5/16" fasteners on the Regal 7 Oval Step must be torqued to 19 LB FT. This applies to the 5/16-18 x 1" hex bolts that attach the step assembly to the support mounting plates and mounting brackets.
All 3/8" serrated flange nuts on the load reaction studs must be torqued to 19 LB FT. This applies to the nuts on either side of the bracket after the rubber cushion is positioned snug against the frame side wall.
A 4" stud (item #19) is used for the front bracket. A 3" stud (item #18) is used for the rear brackets. Both are 3/8-16 double-ended steel studs, zinc-plated.
The end of the load reaction stud must be recessed in the rubber cushion washer approximately 3/16". This is achieved by installing the 3/8" serrated flange nut backwards to the bottom of the thread, then installing the 3/8" flat washer and rubber cushion washer tight against the nut.
Read the instructions completely and verify that all required parts listed in the service parts list are on hand before starting installation. For the Regal 7 step, follow the instructions included with the specific bracket package being used to mount the brackets to your vehicle. For the W2W brackets on RAM 2500 pickups, ensure you have the correct bracket orientation for your cab style (regular/quad/crew cab or mega cab).
After installation, verify that: 1) The upper mounting bracket (item #9) is level when attached to the suspension link housing. 2) The lower bracket (item #11) sits level to the front brackets. 3) The rubber cushion washer on the load reaction stud is snug against the side of the frame. 4) All 3/8" flange nuts are torqued to 19 LB FT. 5) The step plate is in the correct position and all fasteners are tight.
Yes, models 571439/401439 fit 2014 and newer RAM 2500 pickups in regular cab, quad cab, crew cab, and mega cab configurations. For regular cab pickups, the center bracket may be discarded.
