LUVERNE Regal 7 oval wheel-to-wheel steps are the ultimate combination of deluxe style and reliable functionality. They feature extra rear step pads for convenient truck bed access, a highly rust-resistant construction and a vehicle-specific fit for your truck. Regal 7 wheel-to-wheel steps are engineered for practical access to the bed of your truck, featuring an extended length and extra rear step pads. Wheel-to-wheel running boards give you a solid step up for easily reaching items in the truck bed, such as a truck tool box, ladder rack, 5th wheel hitch or other equipment. Regal 7 oval side steps are fitted with large, non-skid step pads. They feature a 7" width and a textured surface, providing enhanced comfort and safety when climbing in and out of your pickup truck. The step pads and matching end caps of Regal 7 wheel-to-wheel steps are angled for a sleek accent. To ensure excellent strength and lasting corrosion resistance, Regal 7 oval side steps are constructed from stainless steel. The stainless steel tubing measures 7" wide and has an elliptical shape for style and strength. All Regal 7 side steps are designed for a custom-fit installation, using vehicle-specific brackets. The brackets are built from strong carbon steel and have a durable black powder coat finish. They install using pre-existing mounting points on the truck to greatly reduce installation time and eliminate tedious modifications. This particular set of LUVERNE Regal 7 oval wheel-to-wheel steps is designed to fit specific years of the Ram 2500 (see application information to verify fitment; brackets included but shipped separately).
Regal 7 oval wheel-to-wheel side steps are designed to be the largest oval nerf bars on the market, featuring a patented design, non-skid step pads and a sleek nerf bar styling. They have full-width step pads for non-skid comfort and safety.

LUVERNE has manufactured truck accessories in the United States since 1963, specialising in grille guards, running boards, side steps and mud guards for pickups, commercial vans and SUVs. Products are built primarily from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, with model-specific mounting kits that use existing frame locations for a bolt-on installation.
LUVERNE has been manufacturing automotive accessories in the United States since 1963, and six decades of continuous production have made it a nationally recognised name in the truck accessory market. Now a Lippert brand, it concentrates on a defined set of products rather than spreading across the whole aftermarket: front-end protection, step access and spray protection for pickup trucks, commercial vans and sport utility vehicles.
Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.
Rounding out the line, LUVERNE mud guards and mud flaps shield rocker panels, paint and following vehicles from stones and road spray, in widths matched to the tyre and fender they sit behind. Material choice runs through everything the brand does: stainless steel where appearance and corrosion resistance matter most, aluminium where weight is the priority, and mild steel with protective coating where strength and value lead. Customers include contractors, fleet operators, van upfitters and truck owners.

Yes, the steps are pre-assembled from the factory. The serial number label is located on the front inside of the driver's side step assembly.
The step assembly includes 5/16-18 x 1" black stainless steel hex bolts, washers, and serrated flange nuts (items #10, #11, and #12) for attaching the steps to the mounting brackets. The support mounting plates (item #9) are also included. Refer to the service parts list for the complete list of included hardware.
The 401438 bracket kit includes: 1/4-20 x 1" carriage bolts (item #9), 1/4" flat washers (item #10), 1/4-20 flange nuts (item #11), M8 x 25mm screws (item #12), 5/16" flat washers (item #13), M8 flange nuts (item #14), T-bolt weldments (item #15), and plastic bolt retainers (item #16). For trucks without threaded inserts, the T-bolt weldment and retainer are required. Refer to the service parts list for complete quantities.
1. Set the step on the mounting brackets. 2. Slide each support mounting plate (item #9) inside the oval step and above each bracket. 3. Using the supplied 5/16-18 x 1" black stainless steel hex bolt, washer, and serrated flange nut (items #10, #11, #12), attach the step assembly, support mounting plate, and mounting bracket. 4. Set the step plate in the correct position and tighten all fasteners to 19 LB FT.
1. Install the mounting brackets to the vehicle pinchweld and rocker panel (steps 2.1-2.10). 2. Attach the upper and lower brackets to the suspension link housing (steps 3.1-3.2). 3. Install the step plates and adjust all brackets and boards before tightening all fasteners (step 4). Leave all fasteners finger tight during initial installation, then adjust for level and proper fit before final tightening.
1. Place the driver's side front bracket (item #1) against the pinchweld with the lower mounting flange to the outside. 2. Align the two rectangular holes of the lower mounting flange with the two obround holes in the pinchweld. 3. Insert two 1/4-20 x 1" carriage bolts (item #9) through the lower mounting flange and pinchweld. 4. Add a 1/4" flat washer (item #10) and 1/4-20 flange nut (item #11) to each bolt, leaving finger tight. 5. Insert an M8 x 25mm screw (item #12) with a 5/16" flat washer (item #13) through the slots on the upper mounting flange, leaving finger tight. 6. Repeat for middle and rear brackets. 7. Mirror this process on the passenger side.
1. Install the T-bolt weldment (item #15) into the large obround hole on the vertical wall of the rocker panel, nut end first. 2. Attach the plastic bolt retainer (item #16) to the threaded stud to prevent the T-bolt from falling into the rocker panel. 3. Place the driver's side front bracket (item #1) against the pinchweld with the lower mounting flange to the outside. 4. Align and insert two 1/4-20 x 1" carriage bolts (item #9) through the lower mounting flange and pinchweld. 5. Add a 1/4" flat washer (item #10) and 1/4-20 flange nut (item #11) to each bolt, leaving finger tight. 6. Place a flat washer (item #13) and M8 flange nut (item #14) on the T-bolt threaded stud, leaving finger tight. 7. Rotate the T-bolt so the threaded nut is visible through the slotted hole in the upper mounting flange. 8. Insert an M8 x 25mm screw (item #12) with a 5/16" flat washer (item #13), leaving finger tight. 9. Repeat for middle and rear brackets. 10. Mirror on the passenger side.
1. Loosen the bolt that fastens the suspension links to the vehicle. 2. Slide the upper mounting bracket (item #3) between the bolt head and the frame bracket. 3. Tighten the bolt, ensuring the upper mounting bracket is level. 4. Fasten the lower bracket (item #5) to the upper bracket using a 3/8" bolt, washer, and nut (items #6, #7, #8) through the two lower holes in the upper bracket. 5. Leave all fasteners finger tight during initial installation. Install the step plates and adjust all brackets and boards for proper fit and level before tightening all fasteners to their final torque specifications.
Finger tight means tightened by hand only, without using tools, to hold components in place while you align and adjust them. Once all components are properly positioned and level, you then use tools to tighten fasteners to their specified torque values.
The manual specifies that the upper mounting bracket (item #3) must be level when tightened to the suspension link housing, and the lower bracket (item #5) must sit level to the front brackets. Use a level tool to verify proper alignment before final tightening of fasteners.
