LUVERNE Regal 7 oval wheel-to-wheel steps are the ultimate combination of deluxe style and reliable functionality. They feature extra rear step pads for convenient truck bed access, a highly rust-resistant construction and a vehicle-specific fit for your truck. Regal 7 wheel-to-wheel steps are engineered for practical access to the bed of your truck, featuring an extended length and extra rear step pads. Wheel-to-wheel running boards give you a solid step up for easily reaching items in the truck bed, such as a truck tool box, ladder rack, 5th wheel hitch or other equipment. Regal 7 oval side steps are fitted with large, non-skid step pads. They feature a 7" width and a textured surface, providing enhanced comfort and safety when climbing in and out of your pickup truck. The step pads and matching end caps of Regal 7 wheel-to-wheel steps are angl ed for a sleek accent. To ensure excellent strength and lasting corrosion resistance, Regal 7 oval side steps are constructed from stainless steel. The stainless steel tubing measures 7" wide and has an elliptical shape for style and strength. All Regal 7 side steps are designed for a custom-fit installation, using vehicle-specific brackets. The brackets are built from strong carbon steel and have a durable black powder coat finish. They install using pre-existing mounting points on the truck to greatly reduce installation time and eliminate tedious modifications. This particular set of LUVERNE Regal 7 oval wheel-to-wheel steps is designed to fit specific years of the Ram 3500 (see application information to verify fitment; brackets included but shipped separately).
Regal 7 oval wheel-to-wheel side steps are designed to be the largest oval nerf bars on the market, featuring a patented design, non-skid step pads and a sleek nerf bar styling. They have full-width step pads for non-skid comfort and safety.

LUVERNE has manufactured truck accessories in the United States since 1963, specialising in grille guards, running boards, side steps and mud guards for pickups, commercial vans and SUVs. Products are built primarily from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, with model-specific mounting kits that use existing frame locations for a bolt-on installation.
LUVERNE has been manufacturing automotive accessories in the United States since 1963, and six decades of continuous production have made it a nationally recognised name in the truck accessory market. Now a Lippert brand, it concentrates on a defined set of products rather than spreading across the whole aftermarket: front-end protection, step access and spray protection for pickup trucks, commercial vans and sport utility vehicles.
Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.
Rounding out the line, LUVERNE mud guards and mud flaps shield rocker panels, paint and following vehicles from stones and road spray, in widths matched to the tyre and fender they sit behind. Material choice runs through everything the brand does: stainless steel where appearance and corrosion resistance matter most, aluminium where weight is the priority, and mild steel with protective coating where strength and value lead. Customers include contractors, fleet operators, van upfitters and truck owners.

The Regal 7 Oval Steps are pre-assembled step boards available in three lengths: model 477078 (76 inches), model 477088 (86 inches), and model 477098 (96 inches). Each model comes with left and right step assemblies. The steps are supplied as boards only and must be attached to mounting brackets using the supplied hardware. The serial number label is located on the front inside of the driver's side step assembly.
The W2W Mega/Grip Step Brackets are designed for 2013–2015 RAM 3500 Pickups in all cab styles: Regular, Quad, Crew, and Mega Cab configurations. The rear bracket orientation differs between Regular/Quad/Crew Cab pickups and Mega Cab pickups, and the manual provides separate figures for each configuration.
No. For Regular Cab pickups only, the front and rear cab mounting brackets are used. The center mounting bracket and its fasteners may be discarded and are not required for installation.
The Regal 7 Oval Steps include 5/16-18 x 1 inch black stainless steel hex bolts, flat washers, and serrated flange nuts (items 10, 11, and 12). The service parts list also includes carriage bolts, step pads, nylock nuts, support mounting plates, and end caps. Refer to the service parts list on page 1 for the complete quantity of each item.
The W2W Mega/Grip Step Brackets include M12 bolts (110 mm and 160 mm lengths), 3/8-16 studs (3 inch and 4 inch), 3/8-16 bolts, serrated flange nuts, flat washers, rubber cushion washers, and ½ inch flat washers. Refer to the service parts list on page 4 for the complete part numbers and quantities of each fastener.
Yes. The manual states that you must follow the instructions included with the specific bracket package that you are using to mount the brackets to your vehicle. The Regal 7 Oval Steps instructions cover only the attachment of the step boards to the brackets, not the bracket installation itself.
Before starting installation, read all instructions completely and verify that all required parts listed on the service parts list are on hand. This applies to both the Regal 7 Oval Steps and the W2W Mega/Grip Step Brackets.
1. Set the step on the mounting brackets. 2. Slide each support mounting plate (item 9) inside the oval step and above each bracket. 3. Using the supplied 5/16-18 x 1 inch black stainless steel hex bolt, washer, and serrated flange nut (items 10, 11, and 12), attach the step assembly, support mounting plate, and mounting bracket. 4. Set the step plate in the correct position and tighten all fasteners to the specified torque.
1. On the short threaded end of the stud (3 inch for rear, 4 inch for front), install a 3/8 inch serrated flange nut backwards to the bottom of the thread. 2. Install a 3/8 inch flat washer and rubber cushion washer tight against the serrated flange nut. The end of the stud must be recessed in the rubber washer approximately 3/16 inch. 3. On the long threaded end, install a 3/8 inch serrated flange nut backwards near the bottom of the threads.
Insert the stud from the inboard (frame) side through the lowest hole in the bent flange of the bracket that will allow the rubber washer to seat firmly against the side wall of the frame. Install a flange nut on the outboard end of the stud finger-tight only at this stage. The studs will be fully tightened after the brackets are positioned.
Remove the factory front body mount bolt on the right side of the vehicle (this bolt will not be reused). Using an M12–110 mm bolt (item 11) and a 2.0 inch washer (item 13), install the front mounting bracket (item 1 or 2, depending on left or right side) to the front body mount. Leave these fasteners finger-tight until all brackets are positioned.
Remove the factory center body mount bolt on the right side of the vehicle (this bolt will not be reused). Using an M12–110 mm bolt (item 11) and a 2.0 inch washer (item 13), install the center mounting bracket (item 3 or 4, depending on left or right side) to the center body mount. Leave these fasteners finger-tight until all brackets are positioned. Note: This bracket is not used on Regular Cab pickups.
Remove the factory rear body mount bolt on the right side of the vehicle (this bolt will not be reused). Using an M12–116 mm bolt (item 12) and a ½ inch flat washer (item 20), install the rear inboard mounting bracket (item 5 or 6, depending on left or right side) to the rear body mount. Leave these fasteners finger-tight. The orientation of the rear bracket differs between Regular/Quad/Crew Cab pickups (refer to Figure 1) and Mega Cab pickups (refer to Figure 2).
Attach the rear outboard mounting bracket (item 7 or 8) to the rear inboard mounting bracket (item 5 or 6) in the upper mounting location using three 3/8-16 x 1.0 inch screws, 3/8 inch flat washers, and 3/8 inch flange nuts (items 19, 15, and 16).
Loosen the bolt that fastens the leaf spring to the vehicle. Slide the upper mounting bracket (item 9) between the bolt head and the frame bracket. Place a 3/8 inch bolt and washer (items 15 and 19) through the hole in the upper mounting bracket and frame bracket, then fasten with a 3/8 inch serrated flange nut (item 16). Tighten the leaf spring bolt while ensuring the upper mounting bracket is level.
Fasten the lower bracket (item 10) to the upper bracket (item 9) using a 3/8 inch bolt, washer, and flange nut (items 15, 16, and 19) through the two lower holes in the upper bracket. Ensure the lower bracket sits level to the front brackets.
Torque all 5/16 inch fasteners to 19 lb-ft. This applies to the hex bolts, washers, and serrated flange nuts that attach the step assembly to the mounting brackets.
Tighten the 3/8 inch flange nuts on either side of the load reaction stud bracket to 19 lb-ft. This is done after positioning the load reaction stud assembly so that the rubber cushion is snug against the side of the frame.
Two different stud sizes are used: a 4 inch stud (item 18) for the front bracket and a 3 inch stud (item 17) for the rear brackets. Both are 3/8-16 double-ended steel studs with zinc plating.
The end of the stud must be recessed in the rubber washer approximately 3/16 inch. This is a critical dimension during assembly of the load reaction stud.
No. The factory front, center, and rear body mount bolts must be removed and will not be reused. They are replaced with the M12 bolts supplied in the bracket kit.
The rubber cushion washer must be snug against the side of the frame to ensure proper load distribution and secure mounting of the step brackets. The stud end must be recessed approximately 3/16 inch into the rubber washer to achieve this proper seating.
Yes, they fit 2013–2015 RAM 3500 Pickups in Regular, Quad, Crew, and Mega Cab configurations. The rear bracket orientation differs between cab styles; refer to the manual figures for your specific cab type.
Yes. The steps include all fasteners needed to attach them to the mounting brackets: 5/16-18 x 1 inch hex bolts, flat washers, and serrated flange nuts. You must obtain the mounting brackets separately and follow their installation instructions.
Yes. You must remove the factory front, center, and rear body mount bolts on the right side of the vehicle. These bolts will not be reused and are replaced with the M12 bolts supplied in the kit.
Torque all 5/16 inch fasteners on the Regal 7 Oval Steps to 19 lb-ft. For the W2W load reaction stud assembly, torque the 3/8 inch flange nuts to 19 lb-ft.
Yes. The rear bracket orientation differs between Regular/Quad/Crew Cab pickups and Mega Cab pickups. The manual provides separate figures (Figure 1 and Figure 2) for each configuration.
No. For Regular Cab pickups, only the front and rear cab mounting brackets are used. The center mounting bracket and fasteners may be discarded.
