LUVERNE Regal 7 oval wheel-to-wheel steps are the ultimate combination of deluxe style and reliable functionality. They feature extra rear step pads for convenient truck bed access, a highly rust-resistant construction and a vehicle-specific fit for your truck. Regal 7 wheel-to-wheel steps are engineered for practical access to the bed of your truck, featuring an extended length and extra rear step pads. Wheel-to-wheel running boards give you a solid step up for easily reaching items in the truck bed, such as a truck tool box, ladder rack, 5th wheel hitch or other equipment. Regal 7 oval side steps are fitted with large, non-skid step pads. They feature a 7" width and a textured surface, providing enhanced comfort and safety when climbing in and out of your pickup truck. The step pads and matching end caps of Regal 7 wheel-to-wheel steps are angled for a sleek accent. To ensure excellent strength and lasting corrosion resistance, Regal 7 oval side steps are constructed from stainless steel. The stainless steel tubing measures 7" wide and has an elliptical shape for style and strength. All Regal 7 side steps are designed for a custom-fit installation, using vehicle-specific brackets. The brackets are built from strong carbon steel and have a durable black powder coat finish. They install using pre-existing mounting points on the truck to greatly reduce installation time and eliminate tedious modifications. This particular set of LUVERNE Regal 7 oval wheel-to-wheel steps is designed to fit specific years of the Ram 3500 (see application information to verify fitment; brackets included but shipped separately).
Regal 7 oval wheel-to-wheel side steps are designed to be the largest oval nerf bars on the market, featuring a patented design, non-skid step pads and a sleek nerf bar styling. They have full-width step pads for non-skid comfort and safety.

LUVERNE has manufactured truck accessories in the United States since 1963, specialising in grille guards, running boards, side steps and mud guards for pickups, commercial vans and SUVs. Products are built primarily from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, with model-specific mounting kits that use existing frame locations for a bolt-on installation.
LUVERNE has been manufacturing automotive accessories in the United States since 1963, and six decades of continuous production have made it a nationally recognised name in the truck accessory market. Now a Lippert brand, it concentrates on a defined set of products rather than spreading across the whole aftermarket: front-end protection, step access and spray protection for pickup trucks, commercial vans and sport utility vehicles.
Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.
Rounding out the line, LUVERNE mud guards and mud flaps shield rocker panels, paint and following vehicles from stones and road spray, in widths matched to the tyre and fender they sit behind. Material choice runs through everything the brand does: stainless steel where appearance and corrosion resistance matter most, aluminium where weight is the priority, and mild steel with protective coating where strength and value lead. Customers include contractors, fleet operators, van upfitters and truck owners.

The Regal 7 Oval Step comes pre-assembled from the factory. The package includes the left and right step assemblies, support mounting plates, end caps, step pads, fasteners (carriage bolts, hex head screws, washers, and nylock nuts), and hardware for attachment to mounting brackets. The serial number label is located on the front inside of the driver's side step assembly. Refer to the service parts list for the complete inventory of included components.
The manual lists Regal 7 Oval Step models 477097, 477101, 477113 (extended cabs) and 477102, 477108, 477114, 477125 (crew cabs) as universal applications, but does not specify the vehicle years, makes, models, or bed lengths they are designed for. You must verify fitment with the bracket package instructions or contact the manufacturer before purchasing.
The W2W Mega/Grip Step Brackets (models 571339/401339) are designed for 2013–2015 RAM 3500 pickups in regular cab, quad cab, crew cab, and mega cab configurations. The rear bracket orientation differs between regular/quad/crew cab pickups and mega cab pickups; refer to Figure 1 for regular/quad/crew cab or Figure 2 for mega cab during installation.
No. For regular cab pickups, only the front and rear cab mounting brackets are used. The center mounting bracket and its fasteners may be discarded.
The step is attached using 5/16-18 x 1" black stainless steel hex bolts (item #10), flat washers (item #11), and serrated flange nuts (item #12). Two fasteners are required per support mounting plate. All 5/16" fasteners must be torqued to 19 LB FT.
The manual does not specify which tools are required for installation. You should contact the manufacturer or refer to the bracket package instructions for the complete tool list.
Yes. On the right side of the vehicle, you must remove the factory front, center, and rear body mount bolts. These bolts will not be reused. Install the mounting brackets in their place using the specified M12 bolts and washers, leaving fasteners finger tight until all brackets are positioned.
1. Assemble the load reaction studs with hardware (step 2). 2. Attach the load reaction stud assemblies to the mounting brackets (step 3). 3. Remove factory body mount bolts and install the front, center (if applicable), and rear mounting brackets finger tight (step 4). 4. Attach the rear outboard bracket to the rear inboard bracket (step 4.4). 5. Attach the upper and lower shackle mount brackets (step 5). 6. Attach the step plate per its instructions (step 6). 7. Position the load reaction stud assembly and tighten all fasteners to specification (step 7).
1. On the short threaded end of the stud, install a 3/8" serrated flange nut (item #16) backwards to the bottom of the thread. 2. Install a 3/8" flat washer (item #15) and rubber cushion washer (item #14) tight against the serrated flange nut. The stud end must be recessed in the rubber washer approximately 3/16". 3. On the long threaded end, install a 3/8" serrated flange nut (item #16) backwards near the bottom of the threads. Use a 4" stud (item #18) for the front bracket and a 3" stud (item #17) for the rear brackets.
Insert the stud from the inboard (frame) side through the lowest hole in the bent flange of the bracket that allows the rubber washer to seat firmly against the frame side wall. Install a 3/8" serrated flange nut (item #16) on the outboard end of the stud, finger tight only. Do not fully tighten until step 7, after the load reaction stud assembly is positioned with the rubber cushion snug against the frame.
Using an M12–110MM bolt (item #11) and a 2.0" washer (item #13), install the front mounting bracket (item #1 or #2, depending on left or right side) to the front body mount location. Leave the fasteners finger tight until all brackets are positioned and the step plate is attached.
Using an M12–110MM bolt (item #11) and a 2.0" washer (item #13), install the center mounting bracket (item #3 or #4, depending on left or right side) to the center body mount location. Leave the fasteners finger tight. Note: For regular cab pickups, the center bracket may be discarded.
Using an M12–116MM bolt (item #12) and a ½" flat washer (item #20), install the rear inboard mounting bracket (item #5 or #6, depending on left or right side) to the rear body mount location. Leave the fasteners finger tight. The orientation of the rear bracket differs between regular/quad/crew cab pickups (refer to Figure 1) and mega cab pickups (refer to Figure 2).
Attach the rear outboard mounting bracket (item #7 or #8) to the rear inboard mounting bracket (item #5 or #6) in the upper mounting location using three 3/8-16 x 1.0" screws (item #19), 3/8" flat washers (item #15), and 3/8" flange nuts (item #16).
Loosen the bolt that fastens the leaf spring to the vehicle. Slide the upper mounting bracket (item #9) between the bolt head and the frame bracket. Place a 3/8" bolt and washer (item #15 and #19) through the hole in the upper mounting bracket and frame bracket, then fasten with a 3/8" serrated flange nut (item #16). Tighten the leaf spring bolt, ensuring the upper mounting bracket is level.
Fasten the lower bracket (item #10) to the upper bracket (item #9) using a 3/8" bolt, washer (item #15 and #19), and flange nut (item #16) through the two lower holes in the upper bracket. Ensure the lower bracket sits level to the front brackets.
Set the step on the mounting brackets and slide each support mounting plate (item #9) inside the oval step and above each bracket. Using the supplied 5/16-18 x 1" black stainless steel hex bolt, washer, and serrated flange nut (items #10, #11, and #12), attach the step assembly, support mounting plate, and mounting bracket. Set the step plate in the correct position and tighten all fasteners to 19 LB FT.
All 5/16" fasteners on the Regal 7 Oval Step must be torqued to 19 LB FT.
The 3/8" serrated flange nuts on either side of the load reaction stud bracket must be tightened to 19 LB FT after the rubber cushion is positioned snug against the frame.
Use a 4" stud (item #18) for the front bracket and a 3" stud (item #17) for the rear brackets. Both are 3/8-16 double-ended steel studs.
The end of the stud must be recessed in the rubber cushion washer (item #14) approximately 3/16".
Read the instructions completely and verify that all required parts listed on the service parts list are on hand before starting the installation. For the W2W bracket system, follow the instructions included with the specific bracket package you are using to mount the brackets to your vehicle.
The rubber cushion washer (item #14) must be recessed approximately 3/16" in the stud end and positioned snug against the frame side wall. This ensures proper load distribution and prevents damage to the vehicle frame during operation.
