LUVERNE Regal 7 oval wheel-to-wheel steps are the ultimate combination of deluxe style and reliable functionality. They feature extra rear step pads for convenient truck bed access, a highly rust-resistant construction and a vehicle-specific fit for your truck. Regal 7 wheel-to-wheel steps are engineered for practical access to the bed of your truck, featuring an extended length and extra rear step pads. Wheel-to-wheel running boards give you a solid step up for easily reaching items in the truck bed, such as a truck tool box, ladder rack, 5th wheel hitch or other equipment. Regal 7 oval side steps are fitted with large, non-skid step pads. They feature a 7" width and a textured surface, providing enhanced comfort and safety when climbing in and out of your pickup truck. The step pads and matching end caps of Regal 7 wheel-to-wheel steps are angled for a sleek accent. To ensure excellent strength and lasting corrosion resistance, Regal 7 oval side steps are constructed from stainless steel. The stainless steel tubing measures 7" wide and has an elliptical shape for style and strength. All Regal 7 side steps are designed for a custom-fit installation, using vehicle-specific brackets. The brackets are built from strong carbon steel and have a durable black powder coat finish. They install using pre-existing mounting points on the truck to greatly reduce installation time and eliminate tedious modifications. This particular set of LUVERNE Regal 7 oval wheel-to-wheel steps is designed to fit specific years of the Ram 2500 (see application information to verify fitment; brackets included but shipped separately).
Regal 7 oval wheel-to-wheel side steps are designed to be the largest oval nerf bars on the market, featuring a patented design, non-skid step pads and a sleek nerf bar styling. They have full-width step pads for non-skid comfort and safety.

LUVERNE has manufactured truck accessories in the United States since 1963, specialising in grille guards, running boards, side steps and mud guards for pickups, commercial vans and SUVs. Products are built primarily from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, with model-specific mounting kits that use existing frame locations for a bolt-on installation.
LUVERNE has been manufacturing automotive accessories in the United States since 1963, and six decades of continuous production have made it a nationally recognised name in the truck accessory market. Now a Lippert brand, it concentrates on a defined set of products rather than spreading across the whole aftermarket: front-end protection, step access and spray protection for pickup trucks, commercial vans and sport utility vehicles.
Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.
Rounding out the line, LUVERNE mud guards and mud flaps shield rocker panels, paint and following vehicles from stones and road spray, in widths matched to the tyre and fender they sit behind. Material choice runs through everything the brand does: stainless steel where appearance and corrosion resistance matter most, aluminium where weight is the priority, and mild steel with protective coating where strength and value lead. Customers include contractors, fleet operators, van upfitters and truck owners.

The kit includes pre-assembled step boards (part numbers 552059, 552060, or 552061/552062 depending on length), end caps, step pads, carriage bolts, hex bolts, washers, nylock nuts, serrated flange nuts, and support mounting plates. The exact quantity of each component is listed in the service parts list. You will also need to follow the instructions for the specific bracket package you are using to mount the brackets to your vehicle.
Yes, model 401438 is designed for 2014+ Dodge Ram 2500 cab pickups. The bracket kit is specifically engineered for these vehicles. However, installation differs depending on whether your truck has threaded inserts in the rocker panel or not, so you will need to follow the appropriate installation steps for your vehicle configuration.
Yes. Model 477078 is 76 inches long, model 477088 is 86 inches long, and model 477098 is 96 inches long. Each length is available in left-hand and right-hand configurations. Choose the length that matches your vehicle's bed width.
The steps are attached using 5/16-18 x 1 inch black stainless steel hex bolts (item #10), 5/16 inch flat washers (item #11), and 5/16-18 serrated flange nuts (item #12). You will need 16 of each fastener (8 per side for a pair of steps). These fasteners must be torqued to 19 LB FT.
Yes. You must first follow the instructions included with your specific bracket package to mount the brackets to your vehicle. Only after the brackets are installed should you attach the step boards to the brackets using the support mounting plates and fasteners.
Yes, the steps are pre-assembled from the factory. The serial number label is located on the front inside of the driver's side step assembly. No assembly of the step boards themselves is required before installation.
1. Set the step on the mounting brackets. 2. Slide each support mounting plate (item #9) inside the oval step and above each bracket. 3. Insert the 5/16-18 x 1 inch black stainless steel hex bolts through the support mounting plate and bracket. 4. Add a washer and serrated flange nut to each bolt. 5. Set the step plate in the correct position. 6. Tighten all fasteners to 19 LB FT.
All 5/16 inch fasteners must be torqued to 19 LB FT. This applies to the hex bolts, washers, and serrated flange nuts that attach the step assembly to the mounting brackets.
1. Install the front, middle, and rear mounting brackets to the pinchweld using carriage bolts and M8 screws (finger-tight). 2. For trucks without threaded inserts, install T-bolt weldments into the rocker panel obround holes first. 3. Attach the upper mounting bracket to the suspension link housing by loosening the suspension bolt, sliding the bracket between the bolt head and frame bracket, then retightening. 4. Fasten the lower bracket to the upper bracket using 3/8 bolts, washers, and nuts. 5. Install the step plates and adjust all brackets and boards before final tightening.
1. Place the driver's side front bracket (item #1) against the pinchweld with the lower mounting flange to the outside. 2. Align the two rectangular holes in the lower flange with the obround holes in the pinchweld. 3. Insert two 1/4-20 x 1 inch carriage bolts through the flange and pinchweld. 4. Add a 1/4 inch flat washer and 1/4-20 flange nut to each bolt, leaving finger-tight. 5. Insert an M8 x 25mm screw with a 5/16 inch flat washer through the upper mounting flange slots, leaving finger-tight. 6. Repeat for the middle and rear brackets. 7. Mirror this process on the passenger side.
1. Install the T-bolt weldment (item #15) into the large obround hole in the rocker panel vertical wall, nut end first, leaving the threaded stud exposed. 2. Attach the plastic bolt retainer (item #16) to the threaded stud to prevent it from falling into the rocker panel. 3. Place the driver's side front bracket against the pinchweld with the lower mounting flange to the outside. 4. Insert two 1/4-20 x 1 inch carriage bolts through the lower flange and pinchweld. 5. Add a 1/4 inch flat washer and 1/4-20 flange nut, leaving finger-tight. 6. Rotate the T-bolt so the threaded nut is visible through the slotted hole in the upper mounting flange. 7. Insert an M8 x 25mm screw with a 5/16 inch flat washer, leaving finger-tight. 8. Repeat for the middle and rear brackets. 9. Mirror this process on the passenger side.
1. Loosen the bolt that fastens the suspension links to the vehicle. 2. Slide the upper mounting bracket (item #3) between the bolt head and the frame bracket. 3. Tighten the bolt, ensuring the upper bracket is level. 4. Fasten the lower bracket (item #5) to the upper bracket using two 3/8 inch bolts, washers, and nuts (items #6, #7, #8) in the two lower holes of the upper bracket. 5. Ensure the lower bracket sits level to the front brackets.
You should leave all fasteners finger-tight during initial assembly and positioning. Only after you have installed the step plates and adjusted all brackets and boards to the correct position should you tighten all fasteners to their final torque specifications.
Read the complete installation instructions and verify that all required parts listed in the service parts list are on hand before starting. Check that you have the correct bracket package for your vehicle and follow its instructions first. Ensure you have all fasteners, washers, nuts, and other components needed for your specific step model and length.
