LUVERNE Regal 7 oval wheel-to-wheel steps are the ultimate combination of deluxe style and reliable functionality. They feature extra rear step pads for convenient truck bed access, a highly rust-resistant construction and a vehicle-specific fit for your truck. Regal 7 wheel-to-wheel steps are engineered for practical access to the bed of your truck, featuring an extended length and extra rear step pads. Wheel-to-wheel running boards give you a solid step up for easily reaching items in the truck bed, such as a truck tool box, ladder rack, 5th wheel hitch or other equipment. Regal 7 oval side steps are fitted with large, non-skid step pads. They feature a 7" width and a textured surface, providing enhanced comfort and safety when climbing in and out of your pickup truck. The step pads and matching end caps of Regal 7 wheel-to-wheel steps are angled for a sleek accent. To ensure excellent strength and lasting corrosion resistance, Regal 7 oval side steps are constructed from stainless steel. The stainless steel tubing measures 7" wide and has an elliptical shape for style and strength. All Regal 7 side steps are designed for a custom-fit installation, using vehicle-specific brackets. The brackets are built from strong carbon steel and have a durable black powder coat finish. They install using pre-existing mounting points on the truck to greatly reduce installation time and eliminate tedious modifications. This particular set of LUVERNE Regal 7 oval wheel-to-wheel steps is designed to fit specific years of the Ram 1500 and Dodge Ram 1500 (see application information to verify fitment; brackets included but shipped separately).
Regal 7 oval wheel-to-wheel side steps are designed to be the largest oval nerf bars on the market, featuring a patented design, non-skid step pads and a sleek nerf bar styling. They have full-width step pads for non-skid comfort and safety.

LUVERNE has manufactured truck accessories in the United States since 1963, specialising in grille guards, running boards, side steps and mud guards for pickups, commercial vans and SUVs. Products are built primarily from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, with model-specific mounting kits that use existing frame locations for a bolt-on installation.
LUVERNE has been manufacturing automotive accessories in the United States since 1963, and six decades of continuous production have made it a nationally recognised name in the truck accessory market. Now a Lippert brand, it concentrates on a defined set of products rather than spreading across the whole aftermarket: front-end protection, step access and spray protection for pickup trucks, commercial vans and sport utility vehicles.
Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.
Rounding out the line, LUVERNE mud guards and mud flaps shield rocker panels, paint and following vehicles from stones and road spray, in widths matched to the tyre and fender they sit behind. Material choice runs through everything the brand does: stainless steel where appearance and corrosion resistance matter most, aluminium where weight is the priority, and mild steel with protective coating where strength and value lead. Customers include contractors, fleet operators, van upfitters and truck owners.

The Regal 7 Oval Steps (Models 477078, 477088, 477098) come pre-assembled from the factory. The package includes the step assembly, support mounting plates, end caps, step pads, fasteners, and hardware. The serial number label is located on the front inside driver's side step assembly. You will also need to obtain the appropriate mounting bracket package separately, which is installed per its own instructions.
The W2W Mega/Grip Step Brackets (Models 570939/400939) are designed for 09-16 RAM 1500 Pickups only. These brackets are not universal and require specific mounting to the vehicle's body mounts.
Yes, the Regal 7 Oval Steps (Models 477078, 477088, 477098) are listed as universal applications. However, they must be mounted using a separate bracket package specific to your vehicle. The step itself comes in three lengths: 76" (Model 477078), 86" (Model 477088), and 96" (Model 477098, available in left or right configurations). You must follow the instructions included with your specific bracket package to ensure proper fitment.
The Regal 7 Oval Steps are attached using 5/16-18 x 1" black stainless steel hex bolts (part #106997), 5/16" flat washers (part #106998), and 5/16-18 serrated flange nuts (part #102680). Eight support mounting plates (part #552052) are positioned inside the oval step above each bracket. All 5/16" fasteners must be torqued to 19 LB FT.
Installation requires: M12-110mm bolts (part #103444, qty 6), 2.0" washers (part #105909, qty 4), 1/2" flat washers (part #100118, qty 6), 1/2"-13 hex screws (part #100085, qty 4), 1/2"-13 serrated flange nuts (part #100123, qty 4), 3/8" flat washers (part #100062, qty 16), 3/8-16 serrated flange nuts (part #100181, qty 28), 3/8-16 hex screws (part #100040, qty 10), 3" studs (part #104697, qty 4), 4" studs (part #104686, qty 2), rubber cushion washers (part #102592, qty 6), and 5/16"-18 fasteners for the W2W outboard bracket. Factory body mount bolts are not reused.
Yes. You must remove the factory front, center, and rear body mount bolts on the right side of the vehicle. These factory bolts will not be reused. If there is a cast iron dampener on the rear body mount, it must also be removed and will not be reused. The new mounting brackets are then installed using the specified hardware in place of the factory bolts.
1. Assemble load reaction studs with hardware as specified (3" studs for rear, 4" for front). 2. Attach load reaction stud assemblies to mounting brackets, inserting from the inboard/frame side. 3. Remove factory body mount bolts (right side only, one side at a time). 4. Install front, center, and rear mounting brackets to body mounts using M12-110mm bolts and washers, leaving fasteners finger tight. 5. Attach rear outboard bracket to rear inboard bracket. 6. Attach inboard W2W brackets to frame, leaving loose. 7. Attach W2W support bracket to inboard bracket and frame, leaving loose. 8. Install W2W outboard bracket to inboard bracket, leaving loose. 9. Attach step plate per its separate instructions. 10. Tighten all bolts and nuts to final torque specifications.
For each stud: 1. On the short threaded end, install a 3/8" serrated flange nut (part #100181) backwards to the bottom of the thread. 2. Install a 3/8" flat washer (part #100062) and rubber cushion washer (part #102592) tight against the serrated flange nut. The stud end must be recessed in the rubber washer approximately 3/16". 3. On the long threaded end, install a 3/8" serrated flange nut backwards near the bottom of the threads. Use a 4" stud (part #104686) for the front bracket and 3" studs (part #104697) for the rear brackets.
1. Set the step on the mounting brackets. 2. Slide each support mounting plate (part #552052) inside the oval step and above each bracket. 3. Using 5/16-18 x 1" black stainless steel hex bolts (part #106997), washers (part #106998), and serrated flange nuts (part #102680), attach the step assembly, support mounting plate, and mounting bracket together. 4. Set the step plate in the correct position. 5. Tighten all fasteners to 19 LB FT.
Leave the following fasteners finger tight (loose) until the final tightening step: M12-110mm bolts attaching front and center mounting brackets to body mounts (Section 4.1-4.2), M12-110mm bolts attaching rear mounting bracket to rear body mount (Section 4.4), 1/2"-13 hex screws attaching inboard W2W brackets to frame (Section 5.1), 1/2"-13 hex screws attaching W2W support bracket (Section 5.2), and 5/16"-18 hex screws attaching W2W outboard bracket to inboard bracket (Section 5.1). All other fasteners are tightened to final torque immediately.
All 5/16" fasteners used to attach the Regal 7 Oval Steps to the mounting brackets must be torqued to 19 LB FT. This includes the 5/16-18 x 1" hex bolts, washers, and serrated flange nuts.
Tighten 1/2"-13 flange nuts on the rear W2W bracket to 60 LB FT. Tighten 3/8" flange nuts on either side of the load reaction stud bracket to 19 LB FT after positioning the rubber cushion snug against the frame side. All remaining body mount bolts are tightened to their final torque specifications in the final tightening step.
No. The inboard W2W mounting brackets (parts #551693 for MS left, #551881 for GRIP left, #551694 for MS right, #551882 for GRIP right) are not the same from left to right. Ensure you use the correct bracket for each side of the vehicle.
Insert the stud from the inboard (frame) side through the lowest hole in the bent flange of the bracket that will allow the rubber washer to seat firmly against the side wall of the frame. Install a 3/8" flange nut on the outboard end of the stud, finger tight only. In the final tightening step, position the rubber cushion so it is snug against the frame side, then tighten the 3/8" flange nuts on either side of the bracket to 19 LB FT.
The rubber cushion washer (part #102592) provides a cushioned interface between the bracket and the vehicle frame. It must be recessed approximately 3/16" into the stud end and positioned snug against the side wall of the frame during final tightening to ensure proper load distribution and vibration isolation.
The rear outboard mounting bracket (parts #552856 for MS left, #552868 for GRIP left, #552857 for MS right, #552869 for GRIP right) is attached to the rear inboard mounting bracket (parts #552854 for left, #552855 for right) in the lower mounting holes using three 3/8-16 x 1.0 screws (part #100040), 3/8" flat washers (part #100062), and 3/8" flange nuts (part #100181).
The W2W support bracket (part #552875, qty 2) is attached to the inboard W2W mounting bracket using two 3/8-16 x 1" hex screws (part #100040), two 3/8" washers (part #100062), and two 3/8-16 flange nuts (part #100181). It is also attached to the frame using a 1/2"-13 x 1" hex screw (part #100085), a 1/2" washer (part #100118), and a 1/2"-13 serrated flange nut (part #100123). Leave these fasteners loose until the final tightening step.
The inboard W2W mounting brackets (parts #551693 for MS left, #551881 for GRIP left, #551694 for MS right, #551882 for GRIP right) are attached to the frame using 1/2-13 x 1.00 hex screws (part #100085), 1/2" washers (part #100118), and 1/2-13 serrated flange nuts (part #100123). Leave these fasteners loose at this time; they are tightened in the final tightening step.
The front mounting bracket (parts #552850 for MS left, #552862 for GRIP left, #552851 for MS right, #552863 for GRIP right) and center mounting bracket (parts #552852 for MS left, #552864 for GRIP left, #552853 for MS right, #552865 for GRIP right) are each attached to their respective body mounts using an M12-110mm bolt (part #103444) and a 2.0" washer (part #105909). Leave these fasteners finger tight until the final tightening step.
The rear mounting bracket (parts #552854 for left inboard, #552855 for right inboard) is attached to the rear body mount using an M12-110mm bolt (part #103444) and a 1/2" flat washer (part #100118). Leave these fasteners finger tight until the final tightening step. If a cast iron dampener is present on the rear body mount, it must be removed first.
The W2W Mega/Grip Step Brackets (Models 570939/400939) are designed specifically for 09-16 RAM 1500 Pickups only. The Regal 7 Oval Steps are universal but require a vehicle-specific bracket package.
You need 5/16-18 x 1" black stainless steel hex bolts, 5/16" flat washers, and 5/16-18 serrated flange nuts (parts #106997, #106998, #102680). Eight support mounting plates (part #552052) are also required. All fasteners must be torqued to 19 LB FT.
Yes. You must remove the factory front, center, and rear body mount bolts on the right side of the vehicle. These bolts will not be reused. If a cast iron dampener is present on the rear body mount, it must also be removed.
Tighten 1/2"-13 flange nuts on the rear W2W bracket to 60 LB FT. Tighten 3/8" flange nuts on the load reaction stud to 19 LB FT. All 5/16" fasteners on the Regal 7 Oval Steps are torqued to 19 LB FT.
Leave fasteners finger tight (loose) during initial bracket installation: M12-110mm bolts on front and center body mounts, M12-110mm bolts on rear body mount, 1/2"-13 screws on inboard W2W brackets, 1/2"-13 screws on W2W support bracket, and 5/16"-18 screws on W2W outboard bracket. Tighten all fasteners to final torque specifications in the final tightening step after the step plate is installed.
Use a 4" stud (part #104686) for the front bracket and 3" studs (part #104697) for the rear brackets. Each stud must be assembled with serrated flange nuts, flat washers, and rubber cushion washers before installation.
Ensure the stud is inserted from the inboard (frame) side through the lowest hole in the bent flange of the bracket that will allow the rubber washer to seat firmly against the frame side wall. The rubber cushion must be recessed approximately 3/16" in the stud end. If the hole position prevents proper seating, try the next lowest hole in the bracket flange. In the final tightening step, position the load reaction stud assembly so the rubber cushion is snug against the frame side before tightening the 3/8" flange nuts to 19 LB FT.
