They are also capped on each end with contoured end caps, giving them a professional look and added protection against small rocks and road debris. Both the step pads and end caps are factory-installed and securely bolted in place. To make sure these deluxe side steps maintain their classy appearance, we construct them from stainless steel. This gives them the durability to outlast rust through every season of the year, and the strength to be offer reliable footing with every climb. They are available in a high-polish stainless steel finish for a bright, eye-catching shine or a durable black powder coat for a tough, no-nonsense accent. When it comes to our Regal 7 oval side steps, we don't trust anyone else to build them with uncompromising quality. We design each one for a vehicle-specific fit. This particular set of side steps is designed to fit specific years of the Chevy Silverado 2500 HD or 3500 HD and GMC Sierra 2500 HD or 3500 HD (see application information to verify vehicle fitment). They install using a 3" wide channel on the bottom side and high-strength steel brackets with a durable black powder coat finish (NOTE: The mounting brackets for these steps are included but shipped separately).

Yes, the REGAL 7 Oval Steps are designed for 2015+ GM 2500/3500HD Double and Crew Cab Pickups with gas or diesel engines. The steps are available in three lengths: 76" (model 477078), 86" (model 477088), and 96" (model 477098). You will also need the GRIP-STEP/REGAL 7 Brackets (model 401743) to mount the steps to your vehicle. Confirm your truck's cab style (double or crew cab) before ordering, as bracket configuration differs between them.
The REGAL 7 Oval Steps are pre-assembled from the factory. The serial number label is located on the front inside of the driver's side step assembly. You only need to attach the pre-assembled step to the mounting brackets using the supplied fasteners.
The REGAL 7 Oval Steps come with 5/16-18 x 1" black stainless steel hex bolts, flat washers, and serrated flange nuts (items #10, 11, and 12). These fasteners are used to attach the step assembly to the mounting brackets. The exact quantity depends on the number of steps ordered.

Standard tools for fastener installation (socket set, wrench, or impact driver) would be needed to install the 5/16" and 3/8" fasteners and to remove and reinstall factory body mount bolts. Assemble the load reaction studs and hardware (items #9–#12) as specified. 3. Attach the load reaction stud assemblies to the mounting brackets. 4. Remove factory body mount bolts and install the front, center, and rear mounting brackets (leave fasteners finger tight). 5. Attach the rear outboard bracket to the rear inboard bracket using three 3/8"-16 x 1.0" screws, washers, and flange nuts; torque to 19 LB FT. 6. Install the step boards per their instructions. 7. Position the load reaction bolt assembly so the rubber cushion is snug against the frame side, then tighten the 3/8" flange nuts to 19 LB FT. 8. Repeat for the right side.
1. Set the step on the mounting brackets. 2. Slide each support mounting plate (item #9) inside the oval step and above each bracket. 3. Using the supplied 5/16-18 x 1" black stainless steel hex bolt, washer, and serrated flange nut (items #10, 11, and 12), attach the step assembly, support mounting plate, and mounting bracket. 4. Set the step plate in the correct position and tighten all fasteners to 19 LB FT.
Finger tight means to tighten the fasteners by hand only, without using tools, until they are snug but not fully torqued. Steps 5.1, 5.2, and 5.3 of the 401743 bracket installation require the front, center, and rear mounting brackets to be installed finger tight initially. These fasteners are fully torqued later in the installation process after the load reaction studs are positioned and the step boards are installed.
The load reaction stud is inserted from the inboard (frame) side through the lowest hole in the bent flange of the bracket that allows the rubber washer to seat firmly against the side wall of the frame. The rubber cushion washer must be recessed approximately 3/16" into the end of the stud. The 3/8" serrated flange nut on the outboard end is installed finger tight initially and fully tightened to 19 LB FT after the step boards are installed and the rubber cushion is snug against the frame.
Yes. Step 5.4 of the 401743 bracket installation notes that there is a difference between Double Cab and Crew Cab applications when attaching the rear outboard mounting bracket to the rear inboard mounting bracket.
