In step 4, loosely install: (2) factory M12 bolts onto existing weldnuts on the passenger side, and (1) conical washer and (1) hex nut on the driver side. Then tighten all fasteners to final torque in steps 5 and 6.

Check all fasteners are tight and the hitch is securely mounted to your vehicle periodically. If fasteners have become loose, retighten 7/16" fasteners to 50 Ft.-Lb. (68 N·M) and M12 fasteners to 68 Ft.-Lb. (92 N·M) using a torque wrench.
