Hold the baseplate weldment (Item 1) centered on the bumper and clamp it to the frame using two C-clamps. Use the baseplate as a template to drill 17/32" holes. Insert the nut plates (Item 5) in the bumper and bolt the baseplate to the frame using the 1/2-13 x 1 3/4" hex bolts (Item 4). Apply Loctite Blue to all bolts to ensure they do not loosen.
The two bent braces (Item 2) bolt to the two brackets that extend down from the baseplate. Use the 1/2" bolts (Item 4) and lock washers (Item 7) for this procedure. Hand tighten only at this stage.
Use the braces as a guide to drill 17/32" holes in the cross frame. Bolt the braces to the frame using the 1/2" bolts (Item 4), washers (Item 6), and wire nuts (Item 3). Apply Loctite Blue to all bolts and tighten each bolt securely.
