Flat towing is the discipline Blue Ox is best known for. Towing a car with all four wheels on the ground behind a motorhome demands a system that stays rigid under braking, articulates properly over uneven ground, and connects to the towed vehicle at points strong enough to take the load. The removal sequence is: (1) Remove four push pins from top edge of front grill; (2) Remove two metric bolts from top edge of fascia's tabs with 10MM socket and one push pin; (3) Remove lower bolt just forward of front tire on both sides with 10MM socket; (4) Remove eight metric bolts from lower fascia's tabs with 10MM socket; (5) Remove four metric nuts from metal bumper with 12MM socket, pull bumper forward and set aside; (6) Remove two metric bolts from bumper bracket on both sides; (7) Remove four metric bolts from headlight assemblies, pull assembly forward, unplug electrical connection on both sides; (8) Pinch clips together on back of radiator support and pull air dam forward on both sides.
