Yes. In Step 11, non-shutter models require removal of the air dam by unbolting two bolts with a 7mm socket and unclipping three clips. Shutter models require trimming the plastic surrounding the outer grille area to expose the grille behind, following the protrusion straight down while leaving areas next to the screws intact. Confirm your vehicle's grille type before beginning installation.
Required tools are: torque wrench, ratchet, 8mm socket, 10mm socket, 15mm socket, 3/4" socket, 7/16" socket, flat screwdriver, drill with 1/4" drill bit, rivet gun, and a reciprocating saw or rotary cutting tool. Proper tools will improve installation quality and reduce time required.
The kit includes: 1 driver-side base plate, 1 passenger-side base plate, 2 mounting tabs, 2 safety cables (7,500 lbs. rated), 4 carriage bolts (1/2"-13, grade 5), 4 hex bolts (M10 x 1.25"-40), 6 rivets (M6), 4 serrated flange nuts (1/2"-13, grade 5), 4 conical-toothed washers (3/8"), 2 quick links (1/2"), and 2 caplugs (#dop-1375).
Installation requires removal of: the fascia cover (13 push fasteners), wheel well covers and trim (multiple bolts), three rivets underneath the vehicle in front of the front tire on each side, four underside bolts, frame extensions (three bolts and one nut per side using 15mm and 10mm sockets), and bumper bolts.
