The kit includes: 2 tow bar base plates (driver and passenger), 2 tow bar mounting tabs, 2 T-shaped spacers, 2 safety cables (7,500 lbs each), 4 hex head cap screws M10 x 1.25" x 50mm, 2 hex head cap screws M10 x 1.5" x 70mm, 2 conical-toothed lock washers 7/16", 4 lock washers 7/16", 4 flat washers 7/16", 2 caplugs, 2 quick links 1/2", and 2 M6 rivets.
Installation requires removal of: factory tow loops, factory tow hooks (both sides), bumper cover, radiator cover, frame beam extensions, and steel bumper bottom tab bolts. The bumper cover, radiator cover, and frame beam extensions are reinstalled after the base plate is mounted. Factory tow hooks should be returned to the vehicle owner.

This involves removing 12 push fasteners from the radiator cover top, 3 screws from the bumper cover backside near each fender, 3 screws from the bumper fascia at each wheel well, 2 rivets from the lower corners, and 4 screws from the lower center. The bumper cover is then unclipped and set aside, then reinstalled after the base plate is mounted.

Remove 2 bolts from tow hooks (16mm socket) and flange nut (30mm socket). 7. Remove 3 bolts from frame beam extension and 2 bolts from steel bumper bottom tab (15mm socket), and nut from fascia extension (10mm socket). 8. Raise base plate, install T-shaped spacer, reinstall frame beam extension bolts. 9. Install M10 x 1.25" x 50mm bolts with flat and lock washers in lower bumper holes. 10. Install M10 x 1.25" x 50mm bolts with lock washers in weldnut holes. 11. Install safety cables looped around frame. 12. Trim bumper cover openings. 13. Reinstall bumper and radiator covers. 14. Install new plastic rivets.
The T-shaped spacer (#4) is installed between the upper tab of the base plate and the lower bumper flange to ensure proper alignment and spacing during installation. One spacer is used on each side of the vehicle.
