Fishwiring is a technique used to route fasteners through tight spaces. In Step 14, two 3/8" carriage bolts with square hole spacers are fishwired to attach the passenger-side plate. The manual includes 9 pieces of 3/8" fishwire in the kit for this purpose. Specific routing details are shown in the installation steps.
