The kit includes 2 tow bar lugs, 2 clevis pins, and 2 lynch pins. The tow bar lugs replace existing lugs on the CURT Rambler tow bar (#70001).
You will need a torque wrench, 1/4" Allen wrench, ratchet, and 9/16" socket. These tools are required to remove the existing lugs and install the new ones.
1. Remove the two existing tow bar lugs from the ends of the tow bar using a 1/4" Allen wrench and 9/16" socket. 2. Install the new tow bar lugs (#1) onto the tow bar and secure with the hardware removed in step 1. 3. Slide the tow bar lugs over the recovery loops, aligning the holes in the recovery loops with the holes in the lugs. 4. Install a clevis pin (#2) and lynch pin (#3) into each tow bar lug as shown in the manual.
