If you own multiple trailers or frequently tow a variety of loads, you know how much time and money are spent tailoring your towing system to each and every individual trailer. There is nothing more inconvenient than switching back and forth between a few different ball mounts and trying to remember which mount fits with which trailer. A CURT adjustable ball mount is your multipurpose towing solution. This CURT adjustable deep drop channel-style ball mount has a shank size of 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" and features two different trailer ball sizes to accommodate two different coupler sizes: 2" and 2-5/16". It also features an adjustable shank assembly with multiple mounting holes for varying ball heights. Each trailer ball can be raised to a maximum of 8-7/8" rise or lowered to a maximum of 10-3/8" drop, allowing you to make your trailer completely level in any towing situation. The channel-style design and dual-pin mounting system also provide a built-in anti-rattle feature to eliminate obnoxious chucking noises. This CURT adjustable ball mount offers a gross trailer weight capacity of up to 10,000 lbs. for the 2" ball and 20,000 lbs. for the 2-5/16" ball. It allows you to tow a variety of heavyweight trailers, and it features two pin holes in the shank to be mounted at an 11" or 12" length. The adjustable channel-style shank can also be used with the channel-style combination pintle mount or ball mount platform attachment to give you the option of installing your own trailer ball size. All CURT channel-style adjustable ball mounts are made with sturdy steel construction and come with our black carbide powder coat finish for long-lasting rust, scratch and UV resistance.

The CURT 45927 is an adjustable channel-mount dual ball hitch that allows you to tow trailers using either a 2" ball or a 2-5/16" ball. It mounts into your vehicle's trailer hitch receiver tube and lets you adjust the towing height by moving the dual ball up or down along the channel mount.
The CURT 45927 is designed for any vehicle equipped with a trailer hitch receiver tube. However, you must verify that your vehicle's receiver tube is compatible with this mount and that your vehicle's towing capacity meets or exceeds the weight of your trailer. Always consult your vehicle manufacturer's towing capacity before purchasing.
The CURT 45927 with a 2" ball has a gross trailer weight (GTW) capacity of 10,000 lbs. This is the maximum weight the hitch itself can support; your vehicle's manufacturer towing capacity may be lower and must not be exceeded.

Installation has two steps: (1) Insert the adjustable channel mount into your vehicle's trailer hitch receiver tube and secure it with the provided hitch pin & clip or a hitch lock (sold separately). (2) Determine your desired tow height, raise or lower the dual ball to that height, insert the provided channel pins through the dual ball and channel mount, and secure the pins with the provided channel clips.
No. The provided pins are specifically engineered for this system. Using any pin other than the manufacturer-provided pin is a serious safety hazard and will void the warranty. If replacement pins are needed, they must be replaced with original factory mount pins from CURT.
No. Never hook up trailer safety chains to the mount system. Ensure the safety chains operate freely around the mount system and do not become entangled.
Never exceed your vehicle manufacturer's recommended towing capacity. The CURT 45927 ratings represent the capability of the product only and do not reflect the ratings of your complete towing system. You must know the ratings of all components in your towing system and never exceed the limits of the lowest-rated component.
