There is nothing more inconvenient than switching back and forth between a few different ball mounts and trying to remember which mount fits with which trailer. A CURT adjustable ball mount is your multipurpose towing solution. The CURT slim adjustable channel-style ball mount provides a weight capacity of up to 10,000 pounds and only weighs 15 pounds. It has a shank size of 2 inches x 2 inches and features two different trailer ball sizes to accommodate two different coupler sizes: 2-inch and 2-5/16-inch. It also features an adjustable shank assembly with multiple mounting holes for varying ball heights. Each trailer ball can be raised to a maximum of 3-1/2-inch rise or lowered to a maximum of 3-3/4-inch drop, allowing you to make your trailer completely level in any towing situation. The CURT slim adjustable ballmount offers a gross trailer weight capacity of up to 8,000 pounds for the 2-inch ball and 10,000 pounds for the 2-5/16-inch ball. It allows you to tow a variety of trailers, and it features two pin holes in the shank to be mounted at an 10-inch or 11-inch length. All CURT channel-style adjustable hitches are made with sturdy steel construction and come with a black carbide powder coat finish for long-lasting rust, scratch and UV resistance.

The CURT 45903 is a dual ball hitch mount that installs into your vehicle's trailer hitch receiver tube. It allows you to tow trailers using either a 2" ball (up to 8,000 lbs GTW) or a 2-5/16" ball (up to 10,000 lbs GTW), and the ball height is adjustable to match your trailer coupler height.
The CURT 45903 fits any vehicle with a standard trailer hitch receiver tube. The manual does not specify exclusions by vehicle make, model, year, cab style, bed length or drivetrain. The CURT 45903 has two weight capacities depending on the ball used: 8,000 lbs gross trailer weight (GTW) with a 2" ball, or 10,000 lbs GTW with a 2-5/16" ball. However, you must never exceed your vehicle manufacturer's recommended towing capacity. The product rating does not reflect the capacity of your vehicle's towing system—always use the lowest rated component in your towing setup.
The CURT 45903 includes: 1 channel mount, 1 dual ball, 1 channel pin, 1 channel clip, and 1 hitch pin & clip. All parts needed for basic installation are provided. A hitch lock is sold separately if you want additional security.
Installation has two steps: (1) Insert the adjustable channel mount into your vehicle's trailer hitch receiver tube and secure it with the provided hitch pin & clip (or hitch lock, sold separately). (2) Determine the tow height needed, raise or lower the dual ball to that height, insert the provided channel pin through the dual ball and channel mount, and secure the pin with the provided channel clip. The manual rates this as an Easy installation.

No. You must use only the pin provided by CURT. The provided pin is specifically engineered for this system. Using any other pin could be a serious safety hazard and will void the warranty. If a replacement pin is needed, it must be replaced with an original factory mount pin from CURT.
Never hook trailer safety chains directly to the mount system. Instead, ensure the safety chains operate freely around the mount system and do not become entangled with it. The chains must be able to move independently.
