If you own multiple trailers or frequently tow a variety of loads, you know how much time and money are spent tailoring your towing system to each and every individual trailer. There is nothing more inconvenient than switching back and forth between a few different ball mounts and trying to remember which mount fits with which trailer. A CURT adjustable ball mount is your multipurpose towing solution. This CURT adjustable deep drop channel-style ball mount has a shank size of 2" x 2" and features two different trailer ball sizes to accommodate two different coupler sizes: 2" and 2-5/16". It also features an adjustable shank assembly with multiple mounting holes for varying ball heights. Each trailer ball can be raised to a maximum of 9-1/8" rise or lowered to a maximum of 10-1/8" drop, allowing you to make your trailer completely level in any towing situation. The channel-style design and dual-pin mounting system also provide a built-in anti-rattle feature to eliminate obnoxious chucking noises. This CURT adjustable ball mount offers a gross trailer weight capacity of up to 10,000 lbs. for the 2" ball and 14,000 lbs. for the 2-5/16" ball. It allows you to tow a variety of heavyweight trailers, and it features two pin holes in the shank to be mounted at an 11" or 12" length. The adjustable channel-style shank can also be used with the channel-style combination pintle mount or ball mount platform attachment to give you the option of installing your own trailer ball size. All CURT channel-style adjustable ball mounts are made with sturdy steel construction and come with our black carbide powder coat finish for long-lasting rust, scratch and UV resistance.

Installation has two steps: (1) Insert the adjustable channel mount into your vehicle's trailer hitch receiver tube and secure it with the provided hitch pin & clip or a hitch lock (sold separately). (2) Determine the tow height you need, raise or lower the dual ball to that height, insert the provided channel pins through the dual ball and channel mount, and secure the pins with the provided channel clips. The manual rates this as an Easy installation.

Never exceed your vehicle manufacturer's recommended towing capacity. The CURT 45926 ratings (10,000 lbs GTW with 2" ball, 14,000 lbs GTW with 2-5/16" ball) represent the product's capability only. You must also respect the lowest rated component in your entire towing system—vehicle, hitch, ball, trailer, and safety chains. Always know the ratings of all components and never exceed the limit of the weakest one.
No. The provided hitch pin is specifically engineered for this system. Use of any pin other than what is provided by the manufacturer is a serious safety hazard and will void the warranty. If replacement pins are needed, they must be replaced with original factory mount pins only.
No. Never hook up trailer safety chains to the mount system. Ensure the safety chains operate freely around the mount system and do not become entangled. Safety chains must be routed separately and independently of the hitch mount.
Raise or lower the dual ball to your desired tow height. Once positioned, insert the provided channel pins through the dual ball and the adjustable channel mount, then secure the pins with the provided channel clips. The adjustable channel mount allows vertical positioning to match your towing situation.
