If you own multiple trailers or frequently tow a variety of loads, you know how much time and money are spent tailoring your towing system to each and every individual trailer. There is nothing more inconvenient than switching back and forth between a few different ball mounts and trying to remember which mount fits with which trailer. A CURT adjustable ball mount is your multipurpose towing solution. This CURT adjustable channel-style ball mount has a shank size of 2" x 2" and features a ball and pintle combination to accommodate a 2-5/16" trailer coupler or a lunette ring with an inside diameter of 2-1/2" or 3". It also features an adjustable shank assembly with multiple mounting holes for varying ball heights. It can be raised to a maximum of 5-1/4" rise or lowered to a maximum of 6" drop, allowing you to make your trailer completely level in any towing situation. The channel-style design and dual-pin mounting system also provide a built-in anti-rattle feature to eliminate obnoxious chucking noises. This CURT adjustable ball mount offers a gross trailer weight capacity of up to 13,000 lbs., allowing you to tow a variety of heavyweight trailers (limited to lowest-rated towing component). It also features two pin holes in the shank to be mounted at an 11" or 12" length. All CURT channel-style adjustable ball mounts are made with sturdy steel construction and come with our black carbide powder coat finish for long-lasting rust, scratch and UV resistance.

The CURT 45907 is designed for vehicles with a trailer hitch receiver. You must verify your vehicle has a compatible hitch receiver. Consult your vehicle owner's manual or contact CURT Product Support at 877-287-8634 to confirm fitment for your specific vehicle make, model, and year.
Installation has three steps: (1) Insert the adjustable channel-mount into the vehicle's trailer hitch receiver and secure it with the provided hitch pin and clip. (2) Insert the pintle head into the channel mount and adjust it to the desired height, then insert the supplied pins through the aligned holes and secure them with the provided clips. (3) The channel mount has a built-in anti-rattle feature on the back of the pintle combo assembly to reduce noise during towing.
Yes. The pintle head can be raised or lowered to the desired height by inserting it into the channel mount at different positions. Once you have set the height, insert the supplied pins through the holes that line up with the holes in the channel-mount and secure them with the provided clips.
You must use original factory CURT channel-mount pins only. The supplied pins are specifically engineered for the channel-mount system. Replacement pins must be CURT part number 45925. Using any other pins could be a serious safety hazard and will void the warranty.
Before towing, ensure all pins and clips are secured. Verify that your vehicle's tow rating is not exceeded by the load you plan to tow. Check your vehicle owner's manual to determine your vehicle's tow rating. Never hook up trailer safety chains to the channel-mount system; ensure safety chains operate freely around it and do not become entangled.
The ratings of the channel-mount system are intended to represent the capability of the product. However, you must never exceed the vehicle manufacturer's recommended towing capacity. The lowest rated component in your entire towing system determines your maximum safe towing capacity. Consult your vehicle owner's manual and all component ratings before towing.
No. Never hook up trailer safety chains to the channel-mount system. Ensure the safety chains operate freely around the channel-mount system and do not become entangled with it.
Always secure the hitch pin with a clip unless a locking device is being used. The same requirement applies to the channel-mount pins: insert them through the aligned holes and secure them with the provided clips.
